Kids & Co Day Nursery

Both my daughters attended the nursery. My eldest started at 12 months and finished at 4.5 years. For me, the nursery’s strengths were their staff and homely setting. Most staff have been in childcare and with the nursery for a long time. They are extremely kind, patient and attentive carers. The younger staff are just as wonderful, cheery and attentive. The outdoor space has been very thoughtfully designed. It facilitates a mud kitchen, forest school, jungle gym and enough space for rotating exercise classes such as football. My children spent some very happy and secure years at the nursery and I am very grateful!

My daughter has had an amazing one and a half years at Kids & Co. Learning through play, outdoor visits and the extracurricular activities i.e. football and Diddy dance. The activities arranged for the kids to be engaged on a daily basis were very innovative and good fun. I specifically like the Tapestry online journal to track your child’s daily activities and progress based on Early years foundation stage. Also, the hot meals prepared at nursery making sure kids get all the relevant nutrients. We have had a great experience at Kids & Co and sad to leave.

My daughter started Kids & Co 6 years ago and my son has just finished after 3 wonderful years. They have had the most incredible start to their education and have thrived in the loving supportive environment that the nursery engenders.

The staff are extremely dedicated to the care and stimulation of the children. The building, classrooms and garden are beautifully maintained and also used in innovative ways to aid their learning. It really has been a home from home.

Both my children have left nursery confident, sociable and ready to start school. I wholeheartedly recommend Kids & Co as an outstanding nursery.

Both my kids attended Kids and Co Nursery in Blackheath. The overall standard is good and my kids have been very happy there. They were both well looked after by the staff with many opportunities to learn and grow. The only two areas I think that can be improved on are food and management. Meals could be more balanced and healthy. Management communication could be friendlier and more empathic to parents.

We have been extremely pleased with the care and education our son has received over the last 12 months at Kids & Co. Our son has learnt many skills both educational and recreational during his time at the nursery, We would be happy to recommend Kids & Co to anyone looking for a nursery.

Our three-year-old daughter had a great time at the nursery. Very clean, organized and lovely environment. Lots of activities and a really great outdoor space. Our girl learned a lot and loved her time there.

Kids and Co have become a second home for our child and it’s with a bit of sadness that we now have to move on to primary school. Frankly, everything was great during those years, from the caterpillar to the tractor and the rocket room. Every stage came with great care from the teams and team leaders, we felt the dedicated attention and also help for the parents was there. The odd incident was diligently taken care of, activities were varied and management was helpful and professional, also during the challenging times of covid. I put good only for space and for equipment simply because it is the only aspect I saw as limiting the staff and the nursery, but we felt all was adequately provided and well organized. All the staff were fantastic in caring for our child. Overall the staff is what makes the biggest difference for this outstanding nursery! Definitely recommended if you can get a place!

Kids & Co is an outstanding nursery. The children are cared for in small groups by dedicated, experienced staff, who know the children very well. The communication with parents is excellent, with many personal touches, such as little presents for birthdays and Christmas. Our daughter spent a very happy year at Kids & Co, skipped in and out, with many stories about her day. She loved her key worked and still talks about her all the time. Activities were very varied and creative and she made good friends. We just wish we could have kept her there for another year, but she had to leave for pre-school to be guaranteed a place at her brother’s school.

The staff at Kids & Co are professional, kind and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond their duties and responsibilities.
The children always look happy to go in and are well taken care of. What really sets them apart is the extracurricular activities like dancing and PE with specialised teachers. The mum and dad days are a huge success where the children and parents come in and have brunch with staff. The parents meet and get to see what their little one is interested in and who their friends are. They call the primary schools where the children have been given a spot and invite the primary teachers at the nursery to get to know the children before they start school. The whole nursery just got fully refurbished with a beautiful garden which makes it special with great facilities for the children. Kids & Co put the children first and offer full wraparound care.

Kids & Co Day Nursery is an excellent school. We are so lucky to have found this space for our little baby to become a toddler, and then little girl, in the safety net and pedagogical environment of this nursery. We knew she was safe, well cared for and that we could be assured she was in loving hands when we went about our daily business. I think our daughter genuinely misses nursery on the days we take her out and we want to say a huge thank you to all the staff, especially the ‘turtle room’, for taking such great care of her this year.
