July 31, 2019 at 12:00 amI am very happy to see my son excited to go to nursery every day. The teachers are very nice to him, always in a good mood and full of energy. I know that my son is having healthy food every day, enjoying games and learning many things. He’s not two yet but sings all the rhymes, counts to 10, expresses himself, knows his manners. Thank you to all the team of Bright Horizons, Teddies.

July 31, 2019 at 12:00 amI often bring my charge here as he adores the baby care unit. The staff are always welcoming to us and he gets so excited when we arrive. The babies here always seem happy and engaged in activities, there is always a positive atmosphere in the room and I think that’s why my charge loves it. We appreciate the time the staff take to get to know us, even the chef who brings him snacks.

July 31, 2019 at 12:00 amMy four year old has been at the nursery for nearly two years (having attended another Bright Horizons nursery) and I had no hesitation when it came to sending my one year old. The staff are wonderful, caring and personable. You never feel like a number or an inconvenience. My daughter has learnt an astonishing amount. The atmosphere is happy and joyful. Sadly there has been a bit of staff turnover but that’s inevitable with the current climate.

July 31, 2019 at 12:00 amThis is our second child at this nursery. Even though they are six years apart, the care and standard are excellent and it has only become stronger throughout the years. The refurbishment made the nursery have all the facilities we could wish for and all staff is well trained, kind and extremely polite. The management of the nursery is incredible and we constantly recommend the nursery to friends and family.

He loves going now, thinks the activities are fab and can’t get enough of the garden.

August 7, 2019 at 12:00 amThanks to East Greenwich Day Nursery, my son has developed many skills and he has learnt how to treat his friends and nurses with love and respect. I would have preferred not so many nurses to leave, as it upsets my sons routine, as he lost his point of reference. This should be a very key point when hiring new profiles, so they can give continuity to the development path.

November 22, 2019 at 12:00 amMy 9 month old loves the nursery, thus so do I. It is great to drop her off in the morning and to see her so excited. The staff are lovely and very caring. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

The nursery manager and deputy manager have been so supportive and accommodating during coronavirus which has meant so very much to our family!!
The staff in the baby room are so caring with the babies. Both with their key children and others. My son has developed such bonds with the staff.
It is 100% down to the in-house chef that my son eats and has such a varied appetite. He’s also a true asset to the nursery!
A big thank you to everyone at Bright Horizons East Greenwich.

September 14, 2020 at 12:00 amIt’s time for my daughter to graduate from East Greenwich Bright Horizons nursery after 3 and a half years of attending full time. I want to say a big thank you to all the lovely staff who made her journey from the baby stage to a reception little girl amazing. To top this, she has had a great time celebrating with her friends the special graduation day that the nursery organised for them. Despite all the current restrictions in place the staff managed to make the day very special for them. The friendships that she created during this time at nursery and the love and support she received from the staff will be with her forever. Thank you so much again for everything!

October 2, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son has just graduated, having attended since he was 1. Thank you to everyone at the nursery who have looked after him so well along the way. When he first started he took a while to settle but now he runs ahead of me and can’t wait to go in! Whatever room he was in, the staff took the time to get to know him and what he liked doing to provide that reassurance that children need when their parents leave them. I was always impressed with the range of activities they do with the children. Especially now as he’s started school the teaching and care given in pre-school at the nursery has equipped him so well. Not just academically but with instilling good values such as sharing, making happy choices and being polite.
The staff were brilliant with my son but also with us. They always answered any query we had and were a friendly face each day. Thank you so much for everything, we shall miss you!

February 19, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been going to this nursery for a year now. We had a choice of 3 nurseries in the area, being an anxious mum the decision was super hard for me! But I felt that this one had the most lovely, friendly atmosphere, somewhere that I would want to hang out all day! I’m so glad we chose this nursery as it feels like a family, which has been super important since Covid came along. She thrived in the baby room, with the really caring staff, and now waltzes into toddler room every day, super happy, and loves her keyworker plus all the other staff. It’s the little touches for us that make it special here, the printed photos and homemade cards that the staff take their time to do. She has lots of garden time (the garden is lovely) and obviously does lots of singing and dancing which she brings home, and the meals look delicious. I am very happy with this nursery.

With special dietary needs I know it’s not easy but the chef and staff all look after her so well. She talks about them all the time and it’s so wonderful to see what a bond they all have with her.

Our daughter loves attending the nursery and her learning and development have been greatly enhanced by being there.

August 9, 2021 at 12:00 amBoth my kids attended East Greenwich nursery, my son 5 years ago and now my daughter just graduated and she is starting big school in September. She started there when she was 13 months old, has been full time since and I just cannot believe how quick time went. She has come a long way academically after having spent about 5 months at home with full time working parents, nursery has been so supportive and prepped her well for school. But most importantly, every morning she skips and sings when we are walking to nursery, she spent most of last 3 years there and she loved it!

Both of our children have loved going to nursery and have always been very happy there. They come home talking about their day’s activities, meals and their friends. The staff have always been kind, caring and supportive and nurture close relationships with the children to help them feel secure.

November 1, 2021 at 12:00 amOur 19-month-old daughter has been going since she was almost six months old. The nursery has excellent and lovely staff (who she adores) and she has a great mix of different activities and a varied day. She always eats everything (!) and we are happy with the menus and balanced food offered. We have both been really impressed with the response to COVID and how the nursery has handled it. All in all, we’re so happy with the nursery and how much our daughter loves going (runs in every day with a huge smile).

April 12, 2022 at 12:00 amWe love this nursery. Regular updates on the app about day to day activities, sleep times, milk and food intake etc is really useful. Updates on my child’s development via the app is also really nice to see, as you don’t often have time to ask during drop off/pick up. The staff take photos throughout the day, which is really lovely to see. Our keyworker is really helpful and my child loves her. He always goes to and leaves nursery with the biggest smile.

September 9, 2022 at 12:00 amAs my daughter finishes up the happiest two years at Bright Horizons, I thought I’d write a review. We have not had a single thing we could possibly question or complain about in the past 2 years. The staff are wonderful and quickly become a second family. They are caring, friendly, passionate and motivated and always want the best for the children. My daughter has happily gone into nursery every day and is off to school as a well-rounded, confident, intelligent young girl mostly thanks to her wonderful key workers. Special mention has got to go to the manager and the chef. My daughter’s eyes light up when she sees them and they are the kindest people you will meet. If you are deliberating sending your child here, do not hesitate, it was the best decision we ever made.
