Co-op Childcare Woolwich

The team are excellent, they are so lovely to our family and I really trust them to look after both of my kids. The childcare centre is well resourced and has lovely outdoor space which is used daily. I delight in spending time with my kids at the engagement events that are put on. The team have had lots of changes but have dealt with it well and continue to be exceptional for my daughters. The childcare centre are welcoming, expert and inclusive.

There is rather poor updates both in-person and through the parent sharing app coupled with a constant change of team making it is difficult to know who is who. We have had two Teams meetings during the last year though nothing for the parents to get to know each other. Prior to Covid, there were evening events put on for parents. Management does not appear to take responsibility, rather passing it down to the room team along with the blame for mistakes or disappointment. Though I have been asked for feedback, it does not seem to be considered as there has been very little response. There are some really passionate team members who genuinely care about the kids. The location, hours and cost are the main reasons we remain here. My kid appears to delight in going to childcare centre and has a great relationship with all the team so I am told.

He has really flourished in terms of updates, emotionally and socially and this is all down to the patience, adore, care and assistance he’s received from the team. The childcare centre has definitely been a home away from home for my son and we are sad that we have to leave because of a change in circumstances.
A very big thank you to management and the team for your dedication and commitment for making the childcare centre a secure, supporting and nurturing setting. I highly suggest this childcare centre to all prospective parents looking for an outstanding childcare setting! My son has been at the childcare centre since he was 9 months old and the team there have been instrumental to his development and well-being for the past three years.

The kids there have a excellent time whether it be playing games, stories and/or phonics. With the app they record all details needed so you know how your kid has been all day, highly suggest them. My daughter had a remarkable journey, the team are exceptional and work so hard.

he has had and also interact with him again, something that has been very limited throughout his first year. I visited a few nurseries, some very unhelpful or restrictive due to Covid even though lockdown had eased, soon as I visited this childcare centre I got a sense of care, attention and values towards the growth and development of the kids and their parents. Loved the layout and resources available to kids. My son was born through the pandemic, so once I returned to work I needed to find a childcare centre that would assistance and encourage the lack of exposure to activities/playgroups etc.

My little one is graduating next month (July 2022) and onto primary in September 2022. The team there are very welcoming, my little one loves it. Would highly suggest. My journey with the childcare centre manager has been remarkable, she is very welcoming, quick to resolve any issues you might have and she is absolutely welcoming and consistently ready to help you.

There are lots for the kids to do both inside and out. The days are constructive and enjoyable. The meals are healthy and varied each day. Highly suggest this setting. A excellent setting with incredible attentive team.

It went through some not so excellent times before and during Covid with regards to staffing and organisation, but since new managers have taken over, all seems much better again, like it was when my first kid started.
My second is flourishing. He loves all the team and has moved up to the next room seamlessly.
Also, their menu is outstanding! I often wish I could eat there! I have my second kid at the childcare centre now.

The great things about the childcare centre:
App – it gives you real-time updates about your kid, so it’s lovely to get alerts while you’re at work of your kid playing or even seeing what they’ve eaten through the day.
Team – all the team are super supportive and welcoming from your kid’s key worker to the manager. Team are very responsive to the app and face to face and take on any observation seriously.
Activities – your kid has access to excellent discovering facilities as well as a large outdoor space which is rare in London.
Observations are done weekly which helps with your kid’s development at home.
My daughter absolutely loves the childcare centre which makes it easier to leave her when I go to work.
For what you pay the service is a bargain. I’m really cheerful with Co-op Childcare Day Childcare centre and their service is worth all the money.

I have only to go through the pictures gallery of my daughter from when she was a toddler to when she started calling other kids “Toddlers” and now getting ready for reception next month. It’s has been an incredible journey for us the parent and the kids and there are no better people to share that journey with than you guys at Woolwich Co-op. The incredible work you do is evident in the exceptional growth observed in our kids. The live feeds on the web profile have also been exceptional as it allows real-time follow up on what the kids are up to and the professionalism and friendliness of the entire team and management have been impeccable.
