Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill)

My son consistently looks forward to going to the childcare centre and playing with his friends. Lots of activities that he enjoys getting involved with.

We have been so impressed with the childcare centre that we’ve upped our son’s days and also enrolled our young daughter too. Exceptional team, outstanding facilities and a really excellent place for kids to attend.
I highly, highly suggest. We joined in January having recently moved to the area.

We get daily feedback and photos via the app (which we can also use to share our own updates/photos with the childcare centre). The team are all lovely and I have complete peace of mind that she is secure and well cared for during the day. They’ve also been excellent in assisting with things like potty training. There is a wide range of daily activities which are both enjoyable and educational and the meals are all nutritionally balanced. I can’t suggest Woodberry highly enough and my son is already on the waitlist to attend when he is older. Our daughter has been attending Woodberry since she was 11 months (She’s now 3) and is very cheerful there.

My eldest daughter went on to primary school fully equipped for the journey ahead. My youngest daughter will soon follow and I am confident Woodberry will do all they can to continue to nurture, assistance and guide her. We will miss Woodberry very much when the time comes to leave. You have been incredible! Woodberry Day Childcare centre is a remarkable childcare centre setting which we have been with since 2017.

Our son was there just over a year, in the preschool room, and had a excellent journey. The team are attentive and enjoyable, and create a lovely setting for the kids to firstly delight in themselves and secondly do a bit of discovering. The activities and facilities are excellent, with lots of variety, and the feedback on the kids was thorough and well done. In a difficult year (COVID), the childcare centre provided outstanding care, and we were fully confident in their ability to set in place the necessary policies to protect the team and the kids as best they could. And we also found them very understanding of our change of circumstances and needs for our son’s care. In short, we’re on the waiting list for the preschool room for our younger son, and we would thoroughly suggest it to anyone else as well. Our son has just left the Woodberry Preschool room, and we have nothing but praise for the journey we had at Woodberry.

After starting with Woodberry I could see the change in her immediately, I could see a nice and smooth journey at Woodberry till the time when she happily goes to her childcare centre every day. It was a very challenging process for us to take her to a childcare centre, because of her not having a pleasant journey at her previous childcare centre. I could not appreciate more the professionalism of Woodberry’s team to make this process much easier for us. My daughter absolutely loves her educators at Woodberry now and every day she learns something new. I cannot suggest Woodberry highly enough and I am so cheerful for my daughter to have this secure and creative setting. My daughter came to Woodberry after lots of struggles with her previous childcare centre.

We were slightly nervous given the covid situation and that we were unable to come in and settle her in the way we would usually be able to but the team, especially all the ladies in the Bumblebee room have been incredible and taken their time to keep us updated and get to know our little one. The settling has been so much easier than we expected and she comes home excited to tell us about her day. For a kid who was a little shy particularly not having seen many people through lockdown, this has been so reassuring. I adore the daily updates and photos, and meal updates. Overall would really suggest. Thank you to the team. My daughter started in October.

She is now 2 and a half and in the bumblebee room. Woodberry really is a fantastic childcare centre and our daughter is so cheerful there. The team are really lovely and you can tell that they really care for all the kids. They were excellent in helping her settle in and my mind was instantly put at ease that she would be fine! In the two rooms my daughter has been in, all the key workers have gone above and beyond to make childcare centre an enjoyable and stimulating place. All the activities are well thought out and my daughter consistently looks to be very engaged in whatever she is doing. Far more than she is at home!! Development is tracked through the online app which is really supportive and team also upload little snapshots of all the enjoyable things they are doing. I never worry about my daughter when she is at childcare centre. I know she is having so much enjoyable and being really well looked after! My daughter has been attending Woodberry since she was 14 months old.

The team are so compassionate, nurturing and welcoming towards both him and us. The key workers in the room go above and beyond to ensure he is well looked after and all of his needs are met. They are outstanding at communicating. Thank you to all the team. I am so pleased with the care our son receives at Woodberry.

Having previously sent our son to two other nurseries while we waited for a place to become available, we were delighted to finally get him started in the Ladybirds room at Woodberry in the summer.
We’ve been nothing but delighted with his development over the past 6 months, and have been thrilled with the care and attention he has received in such a loving setting. His development has been closely tracked, with enjoyable activities designed to promote and stimulate him in areas specific to him. Team turnover seems much lower than we experienced at other nurseries which ensures consistency of care. It also seems to engender a excellent bond between the team, and in turn with parents and kids.
Our son loves going in the morning and has formed a close bond with the excellent key workers in his room. Woodberry provides a high-quality secure setting which is excellent for our kid and we would thoroughly suggest this childcare centre. Stellar childcare centre.
