September 2, 2024 at 5:33 amWe adore the artwork he brings home. The app is really supportive to let us know what he’s eaten and what he’s been up to. The team are compassionate and welcoming and the parents’ evenings and mornings are consistently really enjoyable and reassuring. My kid really enjoys his time in the pre-school room.

September 14, 2024 at 5:29 amMy son is 18 months, and gets excited every morning that I get him out of the car to take him in! My daughter went to a neighbouring childcare centre where most of the team used to work, and this is the main reason I decided to send my son to Head Start Day Childcare centre Crews Hill. All the team have the kids’s welfare and happiness as their main priority. They have a lovely attentive nature and my son loves his educators. The management of the childcare centre is 2nd to none. There are regular well-being initiatives, environmental projects, daily educational lessons, sports, and crafts to broaden the childrens discovering. The food provided is excellent quality, homemade and varied. There are lots of plans for improvement and updates is outstanding. The outside space cannot be beaten in Enfield! The kids are encouraged to develop, be independent and grow. I couldn’t ask for more! I can’t rate the childcare centre highly enough.

He is so much more confident and is so cheerful every time I drop him off. He loves all his childcare centre educators and they have such a nurturing, attentive way with him! The best decision we have made as parents! I can’t thank everyone at Head Start Day Childcare centre.

October 16, 2024 at 4:48 pmAs a young July baby, we were nervous for the start of childcare centre but Head Start have been so welcoming and accommodating to our needs in the under 2’s room. The childcare centre have a remarkable settling-in period and have been so supportive in helping us with our journey of weaning which has taken some patience. They are all very dedicated team who are all smiley and cheerful in the mornings which helps us sense at ease as parents when drop-off can be tearful for the baby.
Would definitely suggest and come back if we are local again. We sent our son to Head Start from 9 months old and now at 13 months we have moved out of the area and will be leaving Head Start.

October 31, 2024 at 9:01 pmHe has received incredible care and assistance at the childcare centre. The team are what makes the childcare centre stand out from others. They genuinely care and make a real connection with the kids. Our son adores the girls and all they do to make his discovering enjoyable!
Our son will be leaving the childcare centre able to read, spell and write his name, sing and read the alphabet. Count to 100 and write his favourite words clearly. He amazes me with how far he has come.
He absolutely loves the sports classes they have on a Monday and the Spanish classes on a Friday.
The childcare centre has improved over the years and lots of investment is being made to keep that momentum going.
The outside space was a huge attraction to us when choosing the childcare centre and the kids get so much benefit from this all year round. Our son has attended head start crews hill since he was 11 months old and is now 4 and in his final year at the childcare centre.

February 6, 2025 at 10:47 amThe care she receives is so lovely and I’m sure it has made the transition easier for her. The team all knew her name straight away and make a fuss when she arrives in the mornings. They’ve been really supportive encouraging me to call up to check in on her if I have needed to and going through any questions I have when I drop her off. This has made a big different to me as a parent whilst I adjust to the change! My husband and I both adore the app that shows pictures of her that day and tells us when she slept, what she ate and how many nappy changes she had that day. We really look forward to seeing this each day. The childcare centre also provides a weekly newsletter letting us know the activities for that week and also reminders on things we might need to know/do.
Thanks to all the team here for doing a remarkable job! My one year old has recently started at Head Start Crew Hill and I can honestly say we are so pleased that we chose this childcare centre.

The management are very efficient and are consistently on hand to help. Will be recommending in the future. Our cousins little one started with Crews Hill Childcare centre which helped us make the decision to do the same.

March 3, 2025 at 6:33 amGenerally, we’ve been very impressed with how it is managed, how proactively team react to questions and issues raised and how comfortable and content our kid feels in the setting. We welcome the management’s response to feedback and find them and all the team very approachable. It’s been excellent to know also that our kid has been exposed to a variety of activities – both those internally run and those brought in from external companies – and I think this makes a big difference to kids who have been born and raised during the pandemic. The food offered and general welfare also seem to be of a very high standard. The team also should be credited for continuing to work under challenging circumstances due to the pandemic and have a very family-focused approach – something which is really welcome at this time. We returned to the childcare centre after a period away with a second kid that was new to the childcare centre and the childcare centre itself was under new management.

April 18, 2025 at 6:02 pmHe wakes up on Monday and Tuesday every week excited to go to childcare centre and talks about all the team and his little mates. The grounds are excellent, the welfare is exemplary and we are gutted we are moving elsewhere as he has such an incredible journey. Cannot suggest highly enough. Our kid has been with Head Start Day Childcare centre in Crews Hill from the age of 18 months to 2 years and has loved every day.

It has a huge outdoor space and the layout inside has been very cleverly thought out. In my opinion Head Start Day Childcare centre Crews Hill is unrivalled in every area. I have placed both of my kids here and couldn’t be happier.

May 13, 2025 at 8:39 amWe knew from the moment we walked in that this was the right childcare centre for us. The outdoor space is fantastic and the team is just excellent. The team are attentive and supportive and we sense cheerful and confident to leave our baby in their care. The updates is just excellent and we get regular updates from the room based team as well as weekly updates from the management team. As someone who is from an education background I must add that the discovering opportunities are just exceptional. They even have chickens in their garden which the kids help to care for. The food is freshly made on site and my little one is definitely fed really well. My daughter has been attending Head Start Day Childcare centre Crews Hill since January 2022 and I couldn’t be happier with the choice we have made.

My little one has learnt a lot and continues to development. I adore the regular observations and updates. The outdoor space is fabulous and consistently a variety of activities and playtime every time. We could not be happier with this childcare centre – our little one is so cheerful going into childcare centre and leaves with a smile every time!

They sense secure and comfortable and I get updates on my kid every day on what they ate and did and if anything I need to pay attention to which makes me sense assured. June 29, 2025 at 8:35 pmI adore the facilities of this childcare centre, kids can be kids, run and delight in nature. They have indoor and outdoor activities daily and they don’t have to make “special tours” to the garden as it is just outside the rooms.
Even though I have a lot of nurseries closer to my place, I don’t mind driving 15 minutes daily to drop her. I have enjoyed being part of this community since the first day I visited, the team was beyond compassionate and made me sense very welcome.
I really like that they have a settling process of 5-6 weeks which gave me the self‑assurance to know my daughter was ok on her first day and go back to work as she spent time there before.

We adore receiving updates and pictures of what he has done during the day. Would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone! My son has been attending Head Start for the last 9 months and we could not be happier.
