September 10, 2024 at 6:01 pmI don’t have any fear or worry about her while she is at daycare as the caretakers are so great and take care of everything. My kid became so active, started saying new words and she happily goes to daycare and comes home cheerful. I can do work without any stress. The management team all are very responsible, compassionate and take care of everything. I suggest this childcare centre for every parent. My one-year-old goes to Gingerbread Corner and now she is completely settled.

September 13, 2024 at 11:12 amMy youngest has learnt how to walk and eat by himself and my oldest has grown in self‑assurance. I attended when I was small and I am cheerful that it is still going (even if the old building was better). Both my boys adore going to Gingerbread Corner and have made connections with both kids and team.

September 18, 2024 at 4:01 amGingerbread is an outstanding childcare centre; I have nothing but praise and cheerful comments. My son was anxious because it was a new childcare centre. However, he did not want to leave when I returned to pick him up. He loves it there and consistently has a smile on his face when I drop him off and pick him up.
Thank you, Gingerbread for your excellent team and childcare centre. My son started last year; he transferred from a previous childcare centre to Gingerbread.

The best thing about the childcare centre although being very old but its consistently very neat and spotless especially the toilets, unlike many others, which are much newer than this one. The team are really very well trained. They have so many aspects including the sensory room for the very little ones and the romp room, soft playtime room etc all are incredible and very interactive. Can’t suggest it enough. Initially, I used to take my elder kids to a playgroup in Gingerbread Corner (8 yrs ago).

It has so many activities for kids and my kid has not only gained self‑assurance but also learned new skills each day. Gingerbread Corner, Croydon have incredible team who encourage, assistance and motivates kids.

December 1, 2024 at 9:08 pmI adore the atmosphere in which my daughter is growing fast and discovering things every day. And I can also see through videos and photos and a day sheet summary. The staffs are so expert and welcoming. I have nothing negative to say. I am cheerful that my daughter is going to this lovely and peaceful place. The childcare centre is very spotless and you can see how well they are organized.

December 13, 2024 at 2:53 pmMy daughter is cheerful and well looked after. The facilities, setting and care are stellar. The team are considerate, expert and demonstrate real wellbeing qualities. Their assistance, updates and empathy are above and beyond. My daughter has excelled in her academic development and they continue to push her in that area by helping her develop. My daughter goes to school this year and one aspect of what contributed to my decision making was choosing schools where my daughter can still attend the childcare centre through their breakfast and after school club. I would highly suggest sending your kid here and if you don’t get acceptance straight away you can be added to their waiting list which is free of charge to be on. The team at Gingerbread Corner are lovely and as a parent, I’m cheerful, content and secure. In my culture we say it takes a village to bring up a kid and they’re included in our village. My daughter attends this childcare centre and it’s absolutely outstanding in so many aspects.

Gingerbread has consistently been a charity I have trusted; because I attend Gingerbread as a kid 30-years ago. When I had my son and wanted to return to work; I knew in heart, he had to attend Gingerbread.
Well done Gingerbread Corner. My son has attended Gingerbread since he was 1-years-old.

December 28, 2024 at 10:17 pmWhen my son started his settle-in session red flags started to show up. They weren’t bothered that he was not feeling well and had diarrhea before I came. Other than one member of the team in the baby room, nobody made an effort to socialise with my baby or myself while I was there. It seems like the majority of the time I was there, all they did was try to calm the babies down, a lot of holding and hugging them but that’s it. No try to distract them with playtime or anything like that. There are no scheduled activities they do during the day, pretty much it seems like their main goal is to just keep them alive. They walk with the same shoes from outside inside where babies crawl and the toys don’t seem very spotless. Windows and doors were all open at the same time. The last straw was when I was told he did not cry even though I was outside and I could hear him. I expected it to happen but the lie is unacceptable. I had no trust in them and pulled him out. The front desk team is excellent but that’s it.

December 31, 2024 at 3:49 amcheerful to skip in and growing in self‑assurance which is aiding their development. All team are nurturing (from reception, classrooms and management) and parents are kept up to date with all developments. My kids are thriving with the Early Years team!

February 10, 2025 at 3:25 amIt’s such a loving setting and the team are impeccable, not only in their professionalism but also in their care, attentiveness and assistance. I could not have found a better place to send my daughter. Having an ex-prem toddler with needs it was paramount that I found the right setting for her and by sending her to Gingerbread Corner they have made me rest assured that my decision was in fact the right one.

February 27, 2025 at 10:55 pmThe team are both expert and inviting and my kids look forward to attending each day. My daughter enjoys the childcare centre and has been very well cared for by the team. Since my son started reception he has continued attending the after school and holiday club, which has been such a help to us. They ensure that he is given a snack and is free to delight in their many different rooms including an IT room, arts and crafts, a romp room (soft playtime apparatus) a general playtime hall and a lovely adventure garden with a trampoline!
Highly recommended childcare centre, after school and holiday club.
Thank you Gingerbread team for consistently doing your best for our kids. Gingerbread has been an outstanding provision since my kids began in 2021.

Well done Gingerbread for keeping not only my granddaughter but no doubt lots of other kids cheerful and occupied. My granddaughter has been attending the Gingerbread Corner since the age of just a few months to the present day, she is 10 years old.

March 9, 2025 at 2:53 pmMy son especially loves ‘digging’ in the garden, something he wouldn’t be able to do at other nurseries.
The smiles and great manners don’t stop there as everyone at Gingerbread (e.g. reception, admin team) are consistently very supportive and welcoming. We’re glad that we listened to a friend who recommended us this childcare centre. My son has been attending the childcare centre since he was nine months old and we have been impressed by the care and attention that he’s received during the last two and a half years.
Carers look after his needs, consistently try to find ways to make him cheerful whilst teaching him new skills.

My daughter loved it here; never cried once when I left.
Absolutely adored the team members; everyone was extremely compassionate and loved my daughter as much as she did them.
I was consistently informed of my daughters days (what she ate, drank, nappy changes and activities are done).
The only reason I left; was due to career move. The most incredible childcare centre I have ever seen.

We and he were warmly welcomed every day and a nice touch was that they welcomed him by his name the first day. He really enjoyed himself and came home cheerful and full of what he had done each day. The team were very welcoming and supportive. He is already asking when can he go again! Our five year old son attended the holiday club for the first time.

June 29, 2025 at 1:45 amThe team are competent, highly qualified and they consistently had the same team right from day one of my kid starting here, this has allowed for him to create strong relationships with his educators. He is consistently very cheerful to go to childcare centre and when it has happened that he was unwell and could not attend he would sense sad and looked forward to going. The kids here are consistently very cheerful and welcoming to new kids, they are consistently well engaged in meaningful activities, they are discovering to have responsibility through tasks such as helping out in the tidying up, assisting lunchtime, oral hygiene, other countries culture and other important life experiences. I am never worried one day for the safety of my son when he is at this childcare centre, kids are consistently attended to at all times. I could not choose a better childcare place for my son and I strongly suggest this provider. I am absolutely recommending this childcare setting.
