Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon

After joining through a recommendation from a friend we couldn’t be happier with our son’s journey here. I was very apprehensive to put him in a childcare centre (18 months old) but the team not only reassured me but also developed a lovely relationship with my son, giving me the self‑assurance that I needed as a mum. They have a very homely and welcoming atmosphere consistently catering to my son’s dietary requirements and individual needs. My son is also T1 diabetic and they have been remarkable in discovering to manage his condition. This is no easy feat and not many people can manage this as well as they have. Can’t suggest this childcare centre enough, we will be sending our second kid here too! We have had a fantastic journey with Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon.

I was worried about switching nurseries but the team couldn’t have been more welcoming. Her settling sessions went well, team are welcoming, inviting and attentive. The activities are varied and well planned out. The childcare centre has a lovely garden area which has recently been renovated. Communication is outstanding – from the childcare centre manager via email, calls from room team (when required) and there is a parent online space where you receive updates and photos. I adore to see the photos when I’m at work. We have now been with Brightsparks for one year and couldn’t be happier with our choice of childcare centre. My daughter started in the toddler room at Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon when we moved to the area, after spending one year at another childcare centre.

All the team are so nice, welcoming and attentive. My kid loves going to childcare centre and they are very supportive of all aspects of their development and well-being.
I highly suggest this childcare centre. Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon is an incredible childcare centre and I am extremely cheerful that I managed to get a place for my kid here.

Our daughter is in the baby room and the key workers in there have been absolutely remarkable. She has so much enjoyable every day and such varied activities. Great food and she enjoys that very much. They keep you updated via an app so you really do sense connected to their day Amazing childcare centre, extremely well run, excellent communications, very expert and welcoming team.

As well as settling in sessions for him, we were allowed to do a drop-in session so we could get a real sense of the day-to-day running of the childcare centre and get to know his key worker. Our son has come on in leaps and bounds since August in terms of his self‑assurance and speech and he loves attending. Each day is well planned and all activities and photos are uploaded to the app so we can see what he has been discovering. We have already recommended Brightsparks to other families in our area. Our son started at Brightsparks in August 2022 and we couldn’t be happier.

The team are so welcoming and approachable. They update us daily with information about what our son has eaten, what activities he is offered to do, photos of him and even update us on his nappies! He has really grown in self‑assurance since joining and learnt so much. He has recently moved up to the next room and he appears to absolutely adore it! They have a excellent outdoor space which he loves and they get outside whatever the weather which is great for our son. We are very grateful for the time and attention the team give him and would highly suggest the childcare centre to prospective parents. Thank you, Brightsparks! We were very sad about having to leave such a exceptional, engaging, welcoming family of team and in that short year at Brightsparks, he learnt so much. Not just in terms of discovering milestones, but in terms of being a compassionate and attentive person, and that is down to the outstanding team at Brightsparks, Selsdon. We miss them lots and would suggest the childcare centre over and over! A excellent start to a little person’s life. My son attended Brightsparks in Selsdon from age 1 to 2 years old, until we had to move on due to moving to a new town.

Our daughter started in the baby room recently and she has settled in so well. She has so much enjoyable with all the activities there, from singing childcare centre rhymes, painting and printing, and playing outdoors. She enjoys the nutritious meals very much as well. She has also learned so much at childcare centre. Her key worker and everyone at Brightsparks Day Nursery are remarkable, nurturing and attentive. I can’t suggest the childcare centre enough! She seems to really delight in being at childcare centre and learns new things every day. They have sing and sign sessions twice a week which she absolutely loves. The team are all welcoming and approachable and it has been a excellent journey so far. The parking facilities are a huge bonus! My daughter is nearly two and has been at Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon since June last year.

I noticed such a positive change in him from day one and I’m so cheerful we’ve sent him there! All the team are lovely and the kids have such a great variety of activities and food each day, all within a really well-structured day. It’s reasonably priced and it feels like the team go above and beyond to make it remarkable. I’d really suggest this childcare centre! My son started at this childcare centre in January.
