September 6, 2024 at 7:18 amThe team are all exceptional and so attentive. My daughter hadn’t been away from me before starting childcare centre, and at first, I was reluctant to put her in a childcare centre setting until I viewed Secret Garden. They have incredible facilities, and my daughter walked off with two educators to explore. She didn’t care where I was, I could have left there and then! Whereas in other nurseries, she just clung to me and hid behind my legs. She was three and a half when started childcare centre and consistently came out smiling and telling me everything they had done during the day.
My mind was at ease with my daughter being in this setting. I just wish I found it sooner. We both will truly miss this childcare centre, as well as all the team as my daughter is due to start school in September. Secret Garden is such a lovely childcare centre.

November 13, 2024 at 11:17 amEverything about it is remarkable. I’ve never once felt worried about leaving him because I just know he’s in the best hands and has so much enjoyable. It is a attentive and nurturing setting where my little boy feels secure to be himself and explore, and it’s going to stand him in the best stead to move on to the next stage of his school life when the time comes. The team are all incredible, and it’s truly a joy to drop off and collect my kid every day. I’m so grateful that my son got a place at The Secret Garden Nursery.

The team are incredible, so supportive and attentive, and I can’t thank them enough! I have had the best journey at Secret Garden Nursery.

They provide an outstanding education and let the kids be kids in a zen setting. I trust everyone so much there. I sense lucky to be there. Our girl is beaming with happiness whenever she talks about school.

February 3, 2025 at 6:36 pmThe team brings real magic, mischief and nature into the setting: storybooks turn into real childcare centre plots, where the toddlers become heroes to save the day – learn to help others; problem-solve; learn ethics, fine motor skills, teamwork, and activate their imagination along the way: this is all because a spirited, united team comes together with ingenious ideas for how to extend the playtime, and extend it again, creating so much content for young minds to grow and imagine. The activities are academically grounded yet consistently enjoyable and exciting. Childhood is preserved: messy playtime is messy; the building is big; natural hiding places ignite all the senses and sense secure for introverts or extroverts. Children win self‑assurance and freedom of spirit here. Yoga, full-sized sports pitch and coach, cooking and woodwork- The lessons are thought out by the team with devotion, adore, brilliance and detail. Best kept secret in North London for sure! We sense so lucky to be a part of the Secret Garden family.

February 24, 2025 at 11:10 amThe kids are cheerful and confident and show continual growth and development not just academically but also socially and emotionally. The school practices a kid-centric approach, and I sense completely confident that my kids are in the very best of hands while they are in the childcare centre. Communication between the team and myself have consistently been outstanding, and I sense very connected to my kids’s daily journey. My kids run into childcare centre each day and talk about their educators at home. Their language skills have vastly improved since joining in January. They come home with endless new facts I know they haven’t learned from me. Their outdoor facilities are incredible, and I adore the fact that the kids spend so much time outdoors, engaging their bodies and brains together. Both myself and my kids have had the most fantastic journey at Secret Garden Nursery.

My son has been extremely cheerful over the past year at Secret Garden Nursery and is well-prepared for reception class in the new academic year. I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough! Secret Garden Nursery is a very special place which has it all; an incredible team of dedicated education professionals who nurture and care for each kid and an incredible setting with an unbelievable amount of outdoor space for the little ones to learn, develop and grow.

March 23, 2025 at 12:44 amThe grounds are incredible, kids playtime in the 3 acres of garden, football fields, with access to a greenhouse and a gerbil that kids adore to feed.
The people who work here are compassionate, attentive, creative and obviously delight in their work. Every day I go there, it is a pleasure to discover what activities my kid will be doing. I consistently leave with a smile, knowing my kid will be cheerful, learn in a positive setting, and come home in a great mood. This childcare centre is the best-kept secret of Belsize Park.

March 26, 2025 at 5:32 pmI felt it was the right place for my daughter from the very first visit. The childcare centre itself is gorgeous and very organised. The outdoor space is massive and is utilised to the fullest. The manager and educators are remarkable, playful, loving, creative, energetic and very well‑informed. My daughter adjusted very quickly to the childcare centre (no surprise there!) and formed very close bonds with her educators. She is consistently very eager and cheerful to go every morning and reluctant to leave the childcare centre at pick up time! She has learned so much since she started and is becoming a compassionate and considerate person already, which is fantastic to see. My daughter has made a lot of friends although she was shy and reserved at the beginning (she’s also the youngest in her group). Having so much space, choice, freedom and encouragement allowed her to do things at her own pace which made settling easy and boosted her self‑assurance greatly! Secret Garden Nursery is a truly a hidden gem!

April 4, 2025 at 5:49 amChildren settle in well and are comfortable, happily running up the path to start a day divided between the classroom, playtime equipment, sports pitches, mud kitchen, summerhouses and flowerbeds. Staff are engaged with our son’s needs and demonstrate care for his welfare and happiness. They know his personality and understand relationships between classmates. Parent/teacher dialogue is outstanding, with daily updates and constant feedback.
Conflicts between kids are resolved effectively and sensitively.
Our son has loved the activities, including cross-town theatre visits, weekly projects, stacking blocks, digging sand, and painting, plus yoga, football and tennis.
We look forward to hearing about the next trip (to the Farm) from our excited son!
We like how the kids come from diverse backgrounds and are exposed to each other’s languages, cultures and food. We adore Secret Garden and the team.
Who’d believe Central London has a childcare centre with 3 acres of outdoor space?

A huge amount of time and effort that is taken is so visible in the preparation of activities and discovering the kids do during the day.
My daughter has warmed to all the team so effortlessly that it puts my mind at ease knowing she’s in great care.
Honestly, couldn’t suggest Secret Nursery enough! An absolute remarkable childcare centre!

The outdoor space is massive, and we are so thankful our kid gets to spend all day playing outside doing fantastic activities like mud kitchen, growing flowers, and even discovering in an outdoor classroom. The team is incredibly compassionate, communicative and attentive to the details of your kid, partnering with the parents to work on their kid’s development and needs. Our son has truly thrived there; he had grown and learned so much academically and socially this past term. We have really seen him blossom! I am so thankful he gets to go to such a excellent childcare centre each day, and I am excited to see how he continues to learn and grow this next year! We have had an incredible journey with our son in his first term at the Secret Garden Nursery.
