Northend Nursery

The staff members are very professional and accommodating to every child’s individual needs. They have a family app which provides real time updates on your child’s activities and progress. My daughter has developed a lot since she started attending Northend Nursery and she absolutely loves it there.

Great team within the rooms, my child has settled very well over the last year.
The app is very helpful.
However, since February 2022, the nursery has reduced hours to 4pm finishes, and this has caused a very big inconvenience.

Lovely nursery friendly staff and my daughter loves going here always helpful my son also attended this nursery when he was younger for several years and he also really enjoyed going to this nursery I would recommend I already have and a neighbour of mines children now attended here

Excellent nursery, the teachers are lovely and caring. I love the nursery because they keep us informed about the progress on the app—good job to all the teachers.
The management and staff are friendly.

Northend has been a fantastic nursery for my children and I have felt at ease knowing that they are well looked after by staff. The communication that I receive throughout the day, via the app, is very reassuring, as I get updates on how they’re doing, as well as notifications if there have been any accidents. The staff genuinely care and it’s clear. The pandemic has affected many businesses and the nursery has unsurprisingly had its share of challenges. As we move forwards and under pressure to return to ‘normal’ life, the current 4pm finish creates problems with work, as it restricts the number of days we can go into the office or work effectively from home whilst parenting. We need more communication and empathy on this as I’m sure many parents are facing questions from managers as to when this will be resolved. I would hate to have to move from Northend due to this, but it’s becoming increasingly likely that we will be forced to. It’s a real shame as the kids have and are thriving here

My son started preschool after the Easter term and coming from nurseries and, childminding backgrounds myself, I was anxious about sending my son to any setting due to the agency workers, apprentices and practitioners in general.
My son absolutely loves Northend Nursery and showed the most interest in this setting despite viewing a few others, he has settled in so well and tells me how much fun he has and how kind the staff are which is lovely and reassuring to hear from my 3-year-old.
All staff appear very genuine, caring and supportive on a whole and are very informative at handover at the end of the day.

The staff have been absolutely amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and confident to leave my little bubba. They are on hand to answer your questions and they clearly love what they do, which gives me peace of mind as a parent that my baby will be well cared for.

Thank you so much to the staff members who look after our children here at Northend Nursery, we have noticed massive improvements in our daughter’s abilities, there have been really tough challenges that are met with an answer by the staff members who really do ‘home in’ on the problems our daughter comes across (such as, brushing teeth).
The staff members are always warm and welcoming at all times and do their absolute best to help answer our questions, I know it’s difficult sometimes but you really can see the development/improvements in our child’s speech/communication… our daughter seems to have a better understanding of the world around her and how everything works… sometimes I will say wow because she is so smart at understanding certain things.

I am very pleased with the level of support given by staff in looking after our son and his speech and play skills have really improved over time so, l do believe the staff are doing a great job. More grace to your elbow. Cheers

The nursery is a lovely, friendly and very professional place. The staff are very welcoming and I can see my grandson loves being there. They are really working hard with him as his speech is behind and it’s improving all the time. The reaction between the children and staff is wonderful.
