Small World Kindergarten and Montessori

It is a small setting, and this is truly its strength, all the team know every kid, and it truly gives the childcare centre a family sense.
The last year has been difficult circumstances for childcare settings, but the measures put in place last summer on reopening were exceptionally thorough to ensure the safety of all kids and team. The purchase of equipment to sterilise the childcare centre daily is an example of the extra care taken to make the setting a secure one.
Although little was provided in the way of home discovering during the first lockdown, this month, the childcare centre has issued packs for the kids who are at home. This was greatly appreciated.
Finally, my eldest started school in September – the preparation Small World do to ensure the kids are school ready is exemplary – my kid has breezed through the school transition, and I have no doubt this is partly due to the exceptional work at Small World. My kids have been attending this childcare centre for 3-years now.

The facilities are remarkable, and the team are all fantastic. My son attended for 2-years, and I’m quite sad that he has to leave to go to school, though I know he has been well prepared. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Small World to anybody. We’ve loved attending Small World.

There is a lot of opportunity for playing and being active as well as discovering. I have truly noticed how independent he is becoming, tidying up his toys and getting dressed by himself and taking pride in being able to do things himself which I think he is discovering from the childcare centre. My older daughter also attended Small World and I’ve been truly cheerful with the care provided. My son loves attending Small World.

She loves her childcare centre days, her friends, her educators and all activities especially forest school on a Friday. My daughter is a fairly fussy eater, they have encouraged new foods. These foods are exceptionally varied and of top quality. Fabulous Kindergarten. I have nothing but positive feedback, in every aspect of my daughters care that Small World Kindergarten provides.

We had a lot of tears and reluctance to attend. Throughout this time, the team at Smallworld Kindergarten were highly supportive, helping us with strategies and helping us to manage this difficult time.

It is such a pleasure to see that after such a rocky start, our daughter absolutely loves going to childcare centre and is bubbling with all of the things she is discovering. We are exceptionally pleased with the provision and would suggest it highly. Our daughter found it difficult to settle at childcare centre when she initially started.

I’m so sad that he will be leaving to go to school soon, but have no worries about the transition, as I know that he’s learnt so much at Small World, and they have done a huge amount to encourage his self‑assurance and independence. The team are all lovely and develop truly strong bonds with the kids – my son is so excited to arrive there that they have to prompt him to say goodbye to me! He particularly loves some of the extra activities they do, such as dancing, yoga and forest school, and the Montessori way of discovering seems to truly help them do develop their own individual skills and personalities. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Small World to other parents; it’s a truly attentive and nurturing place. I am highly much hoping to send my baby girl there too when she is old enough! Small World Kindergarten is remarkable – my son absolutely loves going and has thrived in the two years that he’s been there.

I was worried about them being away from me and wanted to find somewhere that ticked every single one of my boxes. After viewing several and nearly losing heart, we walked into Small Worlds. We knew from the moment we were greeted by the owner and spent our first few minutes there, this was the childcare centre for us. The team of team has created a haven for the kids attending. The kids have so much enjoyable, running, playing, making friends and of course discovering. I sense totally at ease and have done from day one. We are consistently kept incredibly well informed about everything. The team are consistently on hand when you need a quick chat, and the owner has consistently been incredibly accommodating around days/hours needed for the kids. I can without hesitation highly suggest Small Worlds. It has been the perfect start for my kids, who I know will start school confident, cheerful and well equipped. Choosing a childcare centre for our kids was not an easy task.

I am so impressed with the commitment and understanding they have of encouraging independent playtime, self‑assurance and individual discovering. My daughter loves her childcare centre! Everyone at Small World is so invested in the running of the childcare centre and making sure the kids are cared for.

It is everything you would ever want for your kids from a daycare setting.
As soon as you walk through the door, your heart lifts seeing the cheerful kids and welcoming team. Not only are they cheerful but they are well looked after, well educated and full of enjoyable.
To hear my daughter chatting excitedly about her day and the team is so lovely to hear. For all the times you can’t be with your kids, this is exactly where you would want them to be. Small World is quite simply exceptional.

They tailor activities during the day for his ‘likes’. At the end of the day, there is handover and feedback. He enjoys all the activities and loves the bunnies and all the other insects that come in over the year. The teaching style suits our kid perfectly, he loves practical discovering and is already able to read which is a credit to the childcare centre. We have been so pleased with Small World and all the team would and do thoroughly suggest them. Small World have been remarkable for our kid, they are consistently highly welcoming and attentive.
