Chestnut Nursery Schools @ Taverham

Putting my baby in nursery was a big scary thing for me being a first-time mum. I viewed a few nurseries, concluded on going with Chestnut as they were so good in the lead-up and on the visit. I was still nervous to leave my baby, but I am now really comfortable and happy with the team at Chestnut. They are great at communication and regularly show me the various activities my baby has been up to. I’d definitely recommend. It’s taken time for my baby to settle, but I can see how she’s improved and also how it’s helping her social skills.

I can not fault Chestnut Nursery. My little boy always seems to be happy when I pick him up and has learnt so much in a short amount of time he has been going. Seeing the pictures and updates always makes my day seeing him having fun! The staff are lovely, and my little boy has such a lovely bond with his key worker.

The staff at Chestnut, Taverham are all so friendly and seem to adore my little girl, and in turn, she seems to adore them too. She always says their names on non-nursery days as if she is thinking about them. They always prepare lots of activities like crafts, messy play, and playing in the garden, and they sometimes go for small trips out to the local supermarket or garden centre. Recently I was ill and struggling to look after my girl on my non-nursery days, and Chestnut was very helpful in having her when they had space available. I love seeing the snapshots and learning updates on the Parent App to see how she is progressing. I would 100% recommend Chestnut Nursery, Taverham.

All the staff are so lovely and you can tell they really know and care for each child! My little ones love going and I feel I am kept really updated throughout the day via the app. There are lots of activities the children do and the staff are really supportive of any concerns.

My daughter absolutely loves it at nursery. She always looks forward to going and runs in without a second thought. She is developing so well and has developed great relationships. Updates on handover are really good and great to hear what’s been happening during the day. So far I couldn’t recommend this nursery any higher if I tried. Thank you.

Very good nursery, my son is very happy here. Good food was served, good educational setting. They have a lovely outdoor space which they use often and my son loves the outdoors. Always friendly and helpful and can see they really care about the children.

Our daughter has been at this nursery for six weeks and she really enjoys it every time. She has very good connect with her key person and all the friendly staff which has made her feel settled and safe. She always looks forward to the next day of nursery to play with her friends some more. Only area to improve is meal options as not enough rotation of meals and choice should our little girl not like the menu.

My daughter is so happy at Chestnut Nursery Schools @ Taverham. The staff are welcoming and friendly and my daughter talks of them so fondly. The settling process was so easy and the staff took the time to get to know my daughter and encouraged her confidence to grow so quickly. Chestnut Nursery is a lovely setting with great resources and an exciting garden, staff also take the children on trips which my daughter really enjoys. My daughter talks of nursery all the time, singing new songs every day and telling us all the things she has learnt. We have also been impressed with the healthy food choices the children receive. I would thoroughly recommend Chestnut Nursery to anyone!

My son really enjoys his time at Chestnut Nursery Schools @ Taverham. His confidence and independence have grown so much since attending. The staff are thorough and I feel happy leaving him in their care. If I require any additional information, staff are forthcoming and are able to reassure me.
He eats the meals provided very well.

My son loves nursery. When he started in September aged 2 years old he was shy and never really interacted with other children. He hardly said much. Now I love getting handovers to tell me how he was playing with others and the other fun activities he has been doing. He has a great key worker and he often wants to take things to show her. He has always been a fussy eater who only ate bland foods but the staff encourage him to try new things and although he is still very fussy he does at least eat the rice. With the online portal I can see how he is doing and they do regular reviews of his development which helps me see what I can do at home to help with his development. My son has developed so much in the short time he has been going to Chestnut Nursery Schools at Taverham and I am so glad he went to Chestnuts. We are going to miss the staff at Chestnut Nursery School at Taverham.
