September 2, 2024 at 1:04 amShe started just over a year ago and has settled amazingly, all room changes have been managed so well that she has barely noticed. Absolutely loves going for her 3 days a week.
The team are incredible with the kids, lots of effort made, get them outside as often as possible. My daughter’s development has been excellent, her language and motor skills have really come on since she has been there and a lot of the credit should go to the team who have helped in this.
The managers/admin team are amazingly supportive, consistently cheerful to have a chat answer queries and help with issues – take a lot of the stress away by being so flexible, approachable and welcoming.
The food provided is exceptional – lots of variety and different tastes for the kids to journey. Busy Bees in Bishop Stortford has been remarkable for my little girl.

The garden space is incredible, we are cheerful with this as my daughter loves being outside. My daughter has been at the childcare centre for 3 months as we transferred from another setting.

October 29, 2024 at 5:41 amI have consistently found the team expert and attentive to our kid and she comes home having learnt new things every week. I am cheerful with the security of the childcare centre and most activities they chose for the kids. The food choices have sometimes been hit and miss, but it is obviously hard to cater for everyone’s tastes, especially a kid’s. Our daughter has attended Busy Bees since April 2015.

Her key worker and all the team helped her a lot in everything and made her attending childcare centre with joy and happiness, she wasn’t afraid anymore that no one would understand her, can truly say that my daughter became a cheerful and confident kid. Thank you all for this! Very cheerful with all the services that this childcare centre is offering.

I am consistently told positive things about him and sense genuinely they delight in looking after him – he is not merely ‘another kid’.
Team are cheerful and motivated and I never worry about him when I drop him off.
He runs to the door without looking back.

We chose this childcare centre due to the large rooms and the individual outside gardens which our daughter loves exploring. The food menu offers a huge range of homecooked nutritious meals which our daughter has enjoyed trying. The team have approached our daughter’s health concerns with considerable care and professionalism, giving us the self‑assurance in leaving her in very secure hands. With the introduction of the new manager in recent months, there have been positive changes which have reinforced this childcare centre as a enjoyable discovering setting for our daughter. Our daughter has attended Busy Bees in Bishops Stortford for 2 years now.

January 27, 2025 at 2:07 amShe struggles with new situations, faces and routines, but with the guidance, care and professionalism of the team, she has settled better than we thought possible. Her key person has made big efforts to create and set up activities to interest our daughter, for example, a sandy beach with her holiday photos buried in sand for her to find, to encourage her to communicate more and sense more comfortable. We’re blown away by the efforts made. Huge thank you to the whole team. My husband and I are so grateful to the team team at Busy Bees St Michael’s Mead for helping our daughter settle so well into the next class up.

March 24, 2025 at 7:48 pmThe childcare centre workers have been so excellent in settling him in, from the anxious little person he was, having never been left before – it’s so nice and comforting knowing he loves being there. He consistently has a big smile on his face when we arrive and when we collect him. They are also very great with his allergies and we have never had a problem with team not knowing about them. We are very pleased with the childcare centre and team. My little one’s self‑assurance has grown from strength to strength over the three months he’s been at the childcare centre.

March 26, 2025 at 7:24 amWe would like to see more stability as there have been some significant changes eg. a high team turnover. The new manager is outstanding and worked hard to achieve an improved Ofsted rating. We hope the childcare centre continues to build on this success which is why we hope she is able to return soon. There have consistently been some issues with updates with parents, this still needs improvement and would make a real difference to us. Overall, we are delighted with the childcare centre and sense our daughter is very well looked after by the whole team.

We are beyond cheerful with our choice of childcare centre. The team at Busy Bees Bishops Stortford Day Childcare centre – St Michaels Mead have consistently gone above and beyond to resolve any potential queries, either relating to our kid or invoices.

There is a welcoming atmosphere with a wide range of activities offered during the day. A stellar variety of food is prepared daily for the kids on the premises. . My daughter has attended the childcare centre for over a year for three days a week.
