Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool

We highly recommended this setting for any parent looking to place their child in an environment which stimulates and enhances their development. At first, we had concerns about how our two-year-old son will adjust, given the move from his former nursery, which he attended since he was nine months, to Bright Horizons. However, we were pleasantly surprised how he quickly he settled and got into a routine with the support, care and integration provided by the team at Bright Horizons. They have been extremely responsive to all our queries and my husband, who is a Behavioural Teacher, highly rated the resources and curriculum provided for these young minds. As a parent, we are also comforted that our son is at ease and happy to go to Nursery and know he can trust his carers in his daytime home. The staff work extremely hard, are always pleasant and genuinely put the welfare of the children at the forefront.

Both of my daughters have attended Bright Horizons nursery in Cheshunt from the age of 7 months, they’ve been in every room (from baby room to pre-school) and have had the privilege of knowing all of the nursery carers. Myself and my partner have always been very happy with the level of care, cleanliness and attention upheld by the nursery and we would 100% recommend them to any family considering them. Bright Horizons has given both of my children the best start and they went to school very ready and eager to keep learning.

My daughter started attending this nursery in September after a few months of lockdown. The nursery invited her multiple times for settle in sessions which gave me great confidence as I returned to work. The nursery provides daily updates on what my daughter has been doing with detailed sheets sent home, as well as artwork and photos which are a really lovely touch. The nursery are brilliant with communication, and every single person I have spoken to has been extremely friendly and professional. I am really happy with the care this nursery provides my daughter and I trust them with her fully, I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

My son started at Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery a few months ago. The decision to transition him into a nursery environment before starting school was very nerve-wracking for me – I am used to being around him 24/7! I mentioned my worries to his room leader and the management and was put at ease instantly. The staff really care about the children they look after and play a key part in aiding your child’s development, both socially and academically. They will go out of their way to answer any questions you may have. Since attending, I have noticed my son really come along with his talking, he is now putting more sentences together and enjoys role-playing with his toys. He seems very happy when he comes home and I love reading his daily feedback sheets. Thank you for being there for my little man!

My husband and I are very happy with this nursery. We were nervous to send our child as he had never left me and had some speech delay. Our son enjoys nursery and always comes out with a big smile. He has built a lovely relationship with his key worker who is very helpful and available on the few occasions that I’ve called to ask a question. His speech has really come on and his confidence has grown. I’m glad we picked this nursery.

Highly recommend Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool, the staff are very welcoming. Even during Covid-19 I felt very happy and safe to send my child here. The staff are all lovely and always able to help where necessary. My son, who is eleven months, loves coming here and always seems happy.

This nursery is one of the best in area! The management and staff are very professional, friendly and their mannerism is next to none. My little girl started here very shy and slow to speak. Her key worker did a brilliant job getting her settled very quickly! She has become very chatty, confident and enjoys going in on her days. This was a big relief and plus for me as the transition seems so effortless. The consistency of having the same key worker most of the time when dropping and picking her up was very reassuring for me. I would recommend this nursery with my eyes closed. They embrace diversity and inclusiveness which was again a big positive for me and I am very grateful to the manager and the staff for their kind support.Please don’t hesitate to give your little one the best start. I cannot praise this nursery enough. My son started beginning of 2021 and has grown so much. His room leaders from both classes have been phenomenal. All staff have really helped me as a “Covid mother” feel relief that my son is settling in. At first, it was hard but now my son runs to the door with excitement. Not only do they help him to grow and develop new skills they are also supporting by helping me with his sleep and giving me advice as a first-time mum. The nursery is good and I love that it is very mixed culturally.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough to parents who are looking for a safe nurturing and wonderfully loving place for their child. Both of my children attend the nursery and come home having had a wonderful day every single day. The daily details available in the new app about my kids means that I can check on how they are doing when I want and be comfortable in the knowledge their education is being well looked after.

My twins thoroughly enjoy their time at Cheshunt Bright Horizons. The classrooms are clean, organised and spacious. My son especially has really taken to his new teacher, as she has really picked up on his strengths (numbers and reading) and helped him nurture them. I’m really happy with the care they provide and highly recommend them.
