Boys & Girls Nursery Rickmansworth

We’ve got two kids there currently, our son who is in pre-school and our daughter who is in the baby room. Our son comes home each day excited to tell us about what he has learnt and what friends he played with, and our daughter (a lockdown baby) has settled quicker than we ever expected. The team are attentive, attentive, supportive and have a genuine enthusiasm for the kids. There have been a lot of adjustments due to Covid and we’ve consistently felt that our kids are secure at Boys and Girls and that the updates in keeping us up-to-date has been remarkable. We highly suggest Boys and Girls Rickmansworth.

My two thoroughly enjoyed their time there and were both sad to move on. I have sent both my kids to this childcare centre and would highly suggest it for their care and diligence when looking after all the kids.

The team are lovely and I couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. Since my daughter has started the childcare centre, I have seen a huge improvement with her speech and general interaction skills, and this is all down to the fantastic team. My daughter has been attending Boys & Girls Childcare centre for the last 8 months and she absolutely loves it.

We are impressed by how smoothly he settled there, even after we had a previous bad journey with a different childcare centre. I really thought he would never be cheerful there, especially as he goes for a full day. He is no longer crying when I leave him there and gets more and more exited to spend time at the childcare centre. So many thanks to all the lovely ladies that are taking care of him. They have been excellent supporting him with potty training as well. Thank you for wiping his face when he is dirty (quite a rare thing at nurseries), helping him to learn while playing, and for teaching him how to have enjoyable, sing, dance and get dirty. I know he gets yummy and nutritious food as well; every time we visit the childcare centre the smell is incredible, you just want to sit down and eat. Thank you. We are really cheerful our son is going to this incredible childcare centre.

She had never attended childcare centre before and joined when she was 2.5 so I was a bit worried about how she would settle as she hadn’t mixed much with kids her own age with all the Covid stuff going on. I have to say she settled in really well so quickly, the childcare centre and team were outstanding and she loves going to childcare centre. I’ve been so cheerful with her development there really is nothing I can fault or say I’ve not been cheerful with. I’d highly suggest Boys & Girls Rickmansworth. Thank you for looking after my daughter so well and making her so cheerful. My daughter has been attending this childcare centre since Jan 2021 and it’s been really excellent.

I have consistently been impressed with the care shown at Boys and Girls. Team have consistently made me sense confident that my son is not only looked after but valued by the team. He regularly comes home with new songs, new games and a whole range of stories which show not only how much he enjoys being in this childcare centre but how much development he is making. His current key person is consistently inviting and welcoming. They have been incredible during the pandemic, providing a secure setting and balancing the needs of us as parents with the difficult circumstances. Thank you to the manager and the team for everything you’ve done. My son joined the pre-toddler room at Boys & Girls Childcare centre Rickmansworth and has moved up 2 stages into the pre-school room, we have never thought of moving him.

My first has transitioned through all the rooms and has loved them all equally. She loves all the team and all of the key workers. After the first lockdown closure, they made all the kids sense so welcome, my daughter was delighted to be back there! My second started during the third lockdown and has loved every day. Her key worker has taken so much time to get to know her and provide her with a stable presence in the baby room. The team are so supportive and welcoming, I couldn’t have hoped for better for my kids. Boys & Girls Rickmansworth have been absolutely remarkable with both of my kids.

She spent time in each of the four rooms (Baby, Pre-Toddlers, Toddlers and Pre-School) and thoroughly enjoyed her time in each room. There were never any tears dropping her off in the morning and she consistently returned cheerful and tired at the end of the day. The food must have been great as she consistently ate well during the day.

The room team were consistently welcoming and gave a great account of her day’s activity while the management and administration team were responsive and supportive on the odd occasion where there was a need to discuss her care or her account.

On the whole, our journey was very positive and she was sad to leave and move onto her next adventure. My daughter attended Boys and Girls in Rickmansworth for two and a half years, starting in the baby room just before her 1st birthday.

You can see that they all genuinely care about the kids in the school and they are not just there to do a job. Remarkable home-cooked meals so you know your kid is being fed properly as well. I couldn’t suggest Boys and Girls childcare centre enough. Remarkable childcare centre, the team are all welcoming and welcoming making the setting very inviting.

The transition into the room has been nothing short of remarkable. Both the key worker and all team in the room and beyond have taken the time to make my daughter sense special. She has come on leaps and bounds in terms of developmental milestones and loves the homemade meals. One example of how the manager has gone above and beyond – I called to explain transitioning to cow’s milk wasn’t going well and the manager instantly added an alternative kid’s milk to the order and her meal plan. My daughter’s key worker is compassionate and gentle with her and other kids. It really is a lovely place! My son attended Boys and Girls for two years and had a similarly remarkable journey – what’s more, the garden has been upgraded since he attended, further enhancing the journey. My daughter is currently in the pre toddler, dance room having started in March 2022.
