The kid is really cheerful there, serves great food, and consistently gets a great review of the day on pick up. Team very welcoming and genuinely care for the kids. The childcare centre’s updates via email and phone is consistently supportive. Excellent childcare centre.

The team, Montessori approach and attention to detail have been excellent. They made me sense so at ease when returning to work and made a huge effort to understand my son and make him and myself sense comfortable. As he moved through the rooms, more excitement and activities awaited. The outdoor space is fab, along with the team. Since my son was 11 months old, he has been going to Sunhil.

He adores his key workers, is fed nutritious meals, which he devours almost 100% of the time, and he is thriving. I really like the “out in all weathers” approach and the focus on fostering curiosity and independence. I know that he is surrounded by team that are highly engaged and very well‑informed. What consistently strikes me is how cheerful the team seem. In what must be a very demanding job, they consistently seem to have energy, they know the kids in their care inside out, and they care deeply. I’m sure this is in no small part down to the manager – she is remarkable. I really could not suggest it more highly. My son has been attending the childcare centre since he was about 7-months-old and has consistently been cheerful there.

The settling in period was gently and thoughtfully managed. The food is great. Your team are attentive and obviously skilled at their jobs – our kid has developed beautifully under their care, physically, socially and getting to grips with early reading/maths too. We often say how cheerful we are to have our daughter at Sunhill, led by the manager, who clearly cares deeply for all the many kids that pass through, but also for her team and their wellbeing and development. To manage to provide this level of care and attention through the many personal and expert challenges of a pandemic is truly impressive. We are incredibly grateful to the manager and her team for all they have done for our little girl since we moved here.

My daughter is so cheerful in there. I loved the vibe from the minute we walked in for our tour. The assistant manager couldn’t have been lovelier and all team come across as secure, authentic and easy-going and it just feels so lovely and wholesome. And credit to the manager who sets the tone with her lovely, genuine ease – I adore her emails!
Daughter is super cheerful – lovely big, bright and airy rooms upstairs and lots of different activity stations. She was relatively old when she started childcare centre three years and four months, so I wasn’t expecting an easy transition, but not even a lip wobble. I sense like this childcare centre totally aligns with my family’s values and how we would like our kids to be looked after.
Worth saying she is my third so I have seen a few nurseries with my other kids – this one comfortably outshines any others! I adore the natural, minimal plastic, nature vibe. Just lovely! So pleased with Sunhill Day Childcare centre Berkhamsted.

We’ve had a excellent journey at Sunhill settling our son into the childcare centre. Couldn’t be happier with the team, his development and how much he’s enjoying himself there. The activities are varied, and he spends time outdoors most days. So far, so great!

They go above and beyond, making sure each kid is individually treated, and they focus a lot on the development – it’s very much kid-led, understanding that every kid learns at different rates in different ways. Fantastic childcare centre with remarkable, attentive team who treat the kids as if they were their own.

I have never met a more loving and truly fantastic team.
The way they know each kid individually enough to see changes in their health even before they happen is truly incredible, and then following from that, the care that is given to him during the times that he isn’t well is on par with the adore and care any mother gives their own kid through illness.
Specifically, I have to mention the manager, as consistently, a childcare centre manager like no other. I wish you never leave this childcare centre because I sense secure just knowing that you are there!
And all the team! Thank you, consistently! I wish I could explain in words fully just how incredibly grateful we are for the absolute dedication to the adore and care, growth and development and happiness that is nurtured in our little boy at this childcare centre.

We’ve recently moved to the area, and settling into a new childcare centre was the thing I was most anxious about. However, the team at Sunhill were outstanding, and I needn’t have worried. The manager was very compassionate and reassuring; she was excellent at communicating clearly and regularly – even through a difficult (due to COVID) December. Our daughter loves the team in Sunbeams, in particular, we know of three members of team. There’s no doubt they create a very secure, enjoyable and positive setting, as, after day two, our daughter couldn’t wait to get back there each day. I’m very grateful for all their hard work and care – a big thank you to the whole team. We’re so cheerful that our 2-year-old daughter is attending Sunhill Childcare centre Berkhamsted.

During a really difficult year, they’ve marched on and kept everything really positive and enjoyable for all of the kids, and we, as a family, are so grateful to them for that.
