September 30, 2024 at 10:24 pmThis has been an incredible childcare centre where he has been really cheerful, grown a lot, learned a lot, and made friends (we have too). The team are very attentive and very cheerful, but also committed to teaching kids how to be great to each other. My son has developed incredible bonds with his key workers and carers. I was really anxious about potty training but they were really supportive about that, and he’s a much less fussy eater at childcare centre than at home! The organisation is really well run, communications are very great. The space is really thoughtfully laid out, with lots of running-around space in the big garden and activity areas in the rooms. You can tell that the kids are cheerful, and there are lots of very experienced and longstanding team around which is a sign of a well-run place. My son has also learned a lot there. Would suggest to anyone! My son has been attending Toad Hall Watford since June 2021 when he was 15 months old, to now (he’s nearly 3 and a half).

November 6, 2024 at 10:59 amThe team here really take lots of interest in getting to know you as a parent and also your kid by working alongside you. Every day you get to speak to your kid keyworker and find out how their day has gone. My son is in the baby room, Hedgehogs and I loved the fact they get to mix with the class above every morning so they get used to interacting with different aged kids. They offer lots of stay-and-plays for parents, which is consistently a nice way to meet other parents in the same class and also to see how your kid gets on in the childcare centre setting. I would be lost without Toad Hall and all the fantastic team that make it such a enjoyable and cheerful setting for all the kids to learn. I’ve been taking my son to Toad Hall since he was six months old and he settled into childcare centre so quickly and happily, it made dropping off and returning to work a lot easier.

November 28, 2024 at 2:36 pmShe learns so much and enjoys playing with all of her friends, and the team really look after her and make a fuss over all the kids. All the team take time to get to know the kids even if they are not in their particular room to create a lovely family atmosphere. She is well fed, the menus are really great for little ones. Remarkable Childcare centre, My daughter loves it here, and you really see her develop each day.

Obviously she had a favourite person, thank you for all the adore you give to the kids. Thank you to one member of team in particular for flexibility, for consistently being there for us. Thank you to another member of team for preparing the food. And for the rest of you all, thank you for being part of my daughter’s journey! My daughter has been at the childcare centre for 2.5 years.

The team are consistently welcoming, compassionate and attentive. Our daughter runs in every morning excited to be there. It’s a excellent joy to see her so eager.
The rooms are tidy, spotless and calm, set up with a number of activities for the day.
She learns a lot, there is clear updates between my daughter and the team, and regular circle time and chats in the childcare centre help her to safely and calmly understand the world around her.
The large garden is used often, team regularly tell me the kids have spent all day outside.
Team are consistent, we still see the same faces from our time at the childcare centre 9 years ago. The team greet my other kids with the same enthusiasm as my daughter. They genuinely care and are so welcoming every single day.
The childcare centre has been a fantastic, calm and very supportive part of our lives for so long, we’ll definitely miss it when it is finally time to move on! Our 3rd kid is now attending Toad Hall Childcare centre.

January 19, 2025 at 1:41 amMy son went from 9 months old and he’s 14 months now and absolutely loves it.
They do loads of activities, the food options are excellent, they got loads of toys and games and my son learned so many things from them. They also note down everything the baby does in a day and keeps us the parents informed about his development and milestones. Excellent place, definitely suggest. Toad Hall Childcare centre is a exceptional childcare centre, and the team is incredible and very compassionate and attentive.

So glad he came to this childcare centre but he is going to reception now so will be leaving but wished he stayed here as it is best childcare centre that keeps you updated and consistently listening to you. My son has improved so much in this childcare centre and the team are so great and attentive.

The team are lovely, the classrooms are bright and welcoming and the garden is incredible. My son consistently enjoyed going and the team did an incredible job getting him ready for school so I had no hesitation in also sending my daughter.
Only downside was the updates I.e. knowing what was going on in the childcare centre and when and whether we needed to send them dressed in something specific but that has massively improved recently e.g. with the regular newsletter etc Toadhall is a lovely childcare centre.

The team are extremely welcoming and give us full self‑assurance he will have a enjoyable and enjoyable day. The team have been supportive of his development and encouraging him to be independent. He loves the weekly Spanish and sports classes. Would highly suggest it. Our son has been at Toad Hall from age one.

I am very cheerful with the extra activities, which have been well throughout to introduce the kids to sports, languages and much more I adore the childcare centre setting at Toad Hall Watfird.

In the beginning, we as parents were a little bit anxious but everything started very well and my son found the time he spent at the childcare centre precious and outstanding. We are cheerful that he spent the last two years in your childcare centre. Thank you for everything. My son has been at the childcare centre since September 2021.

May 8, 2025 at 3:19 amThe team here are incredible and I say that not just based on my personal journey with my own kid, but also because I have seen the team comforting and assuring kids with adore and care. It is so difficult to identify the key member associated with a kid because each kid is comfortable with every individual team member of the room – which is incredible! The kids are consistently cheerful and chirpy at the childcare centre and I cannot thank the team enough for taking such excellent care of my little one. My little one has been going to the Toad Hall Childcare centre, Watford for over a year now and the moment she walks in, you can tell how comfortable and at home she feels.

June 14, 2025 at 3:18 amShe started off in the baby room but as an early walker, the team worked with us to ensure she then transitioned to the next room up securing a bond with a new key worker. In this time, my daughter has had some challenging times with illness and resettling after an absence but every time this happened, the team at Toad Hall went over and beyond to assistance her (and us). She loves attending the childcare centre and talks so fondly of the team and kids. I am so glad her journey started here with Toad Hall Childcare centre. My daughter started with Toad Hall Childcare centre Watford in August 2022.

June 24, 2025 at 10:32 amMy son started there at the age of two, and I was stressed that he would not settle in there, but he did, and he likes it there very much. The team are lovely and understanding; it is such a shame that from September, we will be starting reception, and he will not be attending here anymore. This childcare centre was the best choice I could make for my son. They have so many excellent activities throughout the day. Overall I will highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone, as I consistently do. The best childcare centre ever.
