August 13, 2015 at 12:00 amMy daughter started this nursery at the age of 2 and has just finished in order to start school in September. Every single member of staff is friendly, helpful, approachable and caring. My daughter had two key workers during her time there and they were absolutely fantastic! Offering help and support not only to my little girl but also to her Dad and I. They were always available to answer any questions we had. From her very first day there she absolutely loved it. Her speech improved massively and her confidence grew and grew. The menu and quality of meals that they provide of a lunchtime is absolutely brilliant! Also they have a decent size outdoor area with a wide variety of toys. My daughter is now suitably prepared for school next month thanks to the help and support of the staff at Little Pals. Would like to say a massive thank you to the team! And would recommend this nursery to anyone! 🙂

August 13, 2015 at 12:00 amMy Grandson attended the holiday club and was made very welcome by everyone that attended, the activities throughout the day were very well organised and exciting for my grandson. The whole experience was great and he was looking forward to returning. The leader encourages the children to participate at any level and creates a good social grounding for all the children to enable them to play with others. Great, would have no hesitation to recommend the activity to others. Well Done everyone.

August 13, 2015 at 12:00 amVery friendly nursery.
My son felt comfortable going there and I felt comfortable sending him. My son had fun and learned a lot from the nursery.
The nursery also provides lovely home cooked meals for just £2 saving us the worry of a cooked meal every day.
The place is clean and tidy and well run.

August 18, 2015 at 12:00 amBoth my children went to this nursery from the age of 2 but have now left to go on to school. They have learned so much from being here and had a great bond with the nursery staff! I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone. I have a 16 month old now and I will be sending him to Little Pals when he turns 2. I wouldn’t want him to go to any other nursery!

February 9, 2016 at 12:00 amWe viewed many nurseries before deciding on Little Pals and I’m so pleased that we made this choice for our sons.
The activities that the lovely staff think up every day are fantastic. Squishing jelly, fun with paint, sand and shaving foam, baking, stories, loads of art work, playing outdoors, walks, trips out and they even have a fab football coach come in once a week which the children love.
The nursery is clean and organised. Every room is set up for the age group brilliantly. The hot meals for £2 per day are delicious. The best thing by far about Little Pals are the most wonderful, kind attentive and happy staff that genuinely care for our children.

February 9, 2016 at 12:00 amLittle pals is an excellent nursery. My little boy really enjoys going every day.
He loves all the staff and when he comes home he doesn’t stop talking about how much he enjoyed his day.
My little boy has cerebral palsy and little pals fulfill all his needs and go above board to help him.
My boy and come on amazingly since he started.
Any problems I have had has been sorted out very quickly.
The staff are very nice and easy to talk to and help with any concerns there may be.
I can not praise little pals enough to for the time and effort they put into my boys care.
They keep me fully updated and give me a full letter of what he does each day 🙂

My son loves the professional sports coach visits, especially the football! All the staff are friendly and professional and always willing to help. Would highly recommend.

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amWonderful nursery full of friendly staff!
Since coming to the free baby massage group when my little boy was 6 weeks old, I found the staff were fantastic and it was clear from the first day I walked in the door that there is a outstanding level of care throughout the nursery.
My little boy started when he was 5 months old and has been here for 3 months now, he absolutely loves it and has come so far thanks to all the help and support from the staff in the baby room. Using the online journals I love keeping track of my sons progress and adding my own photos from home, its a lovely way of working with the staff to support my child’s needs.
I highly recommend this nursery for anyone looking for a nursery full of wonderful staff and learning opportunities!

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amAll 3 of my children have attended little pals. The staff are fantastic and the level of care is outstanding. I would highly recommend to any parents seeking a high level of childcare. The hot dinners are delicious and I was delighted to be invited in to join my child for a nursery dinner. You are made to feel so welcome and my children love attending. The online learning journals are amazing and I really enjoy seeing what they have been up to and also adding my own photos from home. Would not go anywhere else!

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amI am extremely happy with the care and learning my two children have received so far at Little Pals. The staff are very warm and inviting along with the resources they have. I would strongly recommend this nursery if you are looking for a large nursery with very flexible hours. I love the fact this nursery has its own school bus and the children get to go on all sorts of amazing outings!

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amMy little boy has been going to this nursery for a while now, he went to one before in Colchester and we was very sad to leave and didn’t think we would fine a nursery as lovely as his last but I was so glad when we came to look around at little pals! The staff are very friendly and are always there to answer questions or listen to concerns, helping me out when I struggled with toilet training and had my worries. His learnt so much from being there and has become such a well behaved boy. Overall little pals is a fantastic nursery & would definitely recommend!

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been coming to Little Pals from 9 months old and she loves it. She is now 20 months and every morning she says nursery. She walks in herself straight to the staff there. They are all very welcoming and update me on everything she does. I choice this nursery over other as I loved the warm feel the nursery gives when you walk in, so friendly and very flexible with hours and days to suit me. They always seem to have a jam packed day to occupy her and she comes home with many painting. She has made lots of new friends and I can’t wait to see her progress to the 2-3 year old room.

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amMy son has been going to Little Pals since the start of January and since being there his talking has improved so much and he is slowly starting to become a confident child, whereas before going to Little Pals he was quite shy when it came to meeting new people.

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amMy 10 month old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson attend little pals, as did my older granddaughter before going off to school. She now goes to the after school club there where she is collected on the nursery bus from her school.
The nursery is very welcoming and encourages parents and family to get actively involved. Most recently I was invited to a come dine with me dinner where I went in for a delicious cooked meal and sat and ate with my grandson.
The staff are amazing and provide a very high level of care. My grandchildren are happy confident and have progressed so much since going there.

February 10, 2016 at 12:00 amMy son has been here since he was 12 weeks old and he has come to love the nursery and the staff. Every key person he has had has kept me informed of his progress. I love the online sharing system where I can see what has been up to and provide my own input/photos. Its great that it is a secure site too where only I can see my child’s information and photos. The staff seem genuinely happy to work at Little Pals and always come up with good ideas for craft activities, celebrations and fun days. I have a massive folder of his art work at home. Their Facebook page is always updated with menus, term dates and general news, and they have a sports coach coming in each week with the older ones now, how lovely.
The prices are one of the most competitive around (and I’ve looked at quite a few!) and it includes a cooked meal every day.
They have a baby massage course on site too, which is free to take part. Their fingerprint & CCTV system is very good – only parents and staff can enter and everyone else has to be met and signed in.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone, and I have done recently. Well done Everyone at Little Pals, keep up the good work.

May 17, 2017 at 12:00 amAbsolutely fantastic nursery. My own children attended years ago, now I pick up my nephew. Friendly staff and lots of fun activities. He always enjoys himself.
Management are always available for flexible hours. Outings on the bus are also a favourite. When he comes home and doesn’t stop talking about it

September 27, 2017 at 12:00 amI’m so happy with the girls that work there. The nursery is great. My little boy was very behind in his development and the girls at the nursery have really helped me and supported my son in his development to get him to the level that he is at now.

August 7, 2023 at 12:00 amMy child went from just over 1 year old, the baby room was well run and the staff were lovely until most left.
More recently there has been a large turnover of staff and my child was never happy going into the 2-3 room. My child had SEND needs but I never had any support for this. My child’s needs were not being met, and now being in a different care provider I can see how much he was being let down.
Their food menu was not great in the end, offering mainly jacket potato every lunchtime because they were unable to deal with different diets.
Their outside equipment was not in good condition and was left dirty.
