Just Imagine Day Nursery - Canvey Island

The childcare centre has an incredible balance of natural and man-made resources as well as adult-led activities and kid-focused ones. The kids’s care is equally important to their discovering which is evident as my little boy settled within a few sessions and now he talks about all his educators and days adventures at home. The Parent Portal app is remarkable as I can see what my son has done through the day, what he has eaten and when he has slept, and even when I call upon my lunch break they are consistently so accomodating speaking to me even if they are busy. The team are so patient and offer assistance and guidance when needed. My son’s only been attending for a short time and has already grown in self‑assurance and learns new things every day. Thank you to the team. Myself and my husband found it really difficult to find a childcare centre that we were both entirely cheerful with, that was until we visited Just Imagine Day Childcare centre – Canvey.

Both boys settled straight away, and adore the team. The childcare centre is a vibrant and interesting setting with various different activities, lots of garden time and also they go out to local places like the beach, park and lake. I adore the app that shows food, nappies, activities or photos of the day. My boy has come on leaps and bounds with his speech. The manager and owner are very approachable and take on board parents’ views and ideas which is hard to come by these days. All team members are lovely and easy to talk to just like a friend, this is what makes this childcare centre. I highly suggest to anyone looking for a home from home setting with team that care about the kids rather than just being a number. My little boy has been attending this childcare centre since he was one and he is now two and a half (my older boy, now at school, also attended for a year).

I was very apprehensive about sending my son to the childcare centre considering he had language barriers and he was timid. I had a discussion with the manager there about how they would help him settle in and they offered help and practical solutions every step of the way. Within a few months, I noticed a considerable difference in his speaking ability, self‑assurance and overall behaviour. My son enjoyed being there, took part in the varied activities and made some great friends.
The vibe of this childcare centre is very inviting and welcoming and the team there would consistently make sure that any issues or concerns that parents have are addressed in a prompt and proper manner. Whenever I asked them for any extra assistance, they would listen carefully to my concerns and consistently be more than cheerful to help. It would not be wrong to say that this childcare centre has played a major role in making my kid school ready. I cannot suggest them enough to any anxious parents. All the team at Just Imagine Day Childcare centre are incredible.

This childcare centre is fantastic. Their SEN knowledge and enthusiasm is incredible. Our son is non-verbal but we can tell he is very cheerful here. The team and management are so compassionate and nothing is ever a problem. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. Our daughter will also attend here. It’s twenty minutes away but worth the journey. Our little boy has special needs.

Every single team member are so so lovely and supportive. The childcare centre is consistently doing enjoyable activities and days for the kids like an end-of-term summer party, all the kids loved it and it was clear to see how much effort they put into the day to make it special for the kids and it definitely paid off. My little girl has been attending since January and just within 6/7 months she’s massively progressed she’s gone from a very shy timid little girl into a cheerful, outgoing, cheeky, and very clever little lady who interacts with kids when before starting she never would. She loves going to childcare centre and is so confident with all the team and consistently runs straight in. I’ve seen such a difference she’s so much more chatty and her discovering skills have really developed. I’ve never had any problems with the childcare centre and do think there the best! Just Imagine Day Childcare centre in my opinion is by far the best childcare centre there is on the island.

Very welcoming with a nice atmosphere. My kids absolutely adore it there! There are consistently plenty of activities and I can see how much enjoyable she has through the parent portal. Incredible childcare centre, could not suggest them enough!

My youngest son has suspected autism, he first went to a different childcare centre (again for around a month) and had no success there. Since joining Just Imagine both my kids go in smiling and come home smiling. All the teams have been incredible, not only with the boys but also with me as a parent. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough, especially for special educational needs kids. We are a month in and I already sense at such ease with everything! Thank you to everyone at Just Imagine and a special thank you to the team for their help settling both the boys. I have two sons that joined Just Imagine Day Childcare centre – Canvey Island around a month ago.

We can’t suggest this childcare centre and all its team highly enough. So welcoming and their SEN knowledge is outstanding. Really supportive and has its own sensory room. We will be using their holiday club frequently during half term too. My oldest boy attended the childcare centre from 18-months till he started school this year, and my youngest now attends.

My son is consistently cheerful to attend and loves it here. The updates are incredible, and the team are a credit to them. Consistently so supportive and welcoming. Would definitely suggest. As a SEN parent, I can’t praise this childcare centre enough.
