Busy Bees Colchester

We have two children at the nursery and even though they only attend one day a week all of the friendly staff know their names and say hello. The classrooms are lovely and clean and we feel like our children are well looked after. The staff are always so lovely and attentive and always on hand to answer queries. An amazing nursery.

I could not be any happier with a nursery for my son. My son has been attending Busy Bees for over a year now and attends on a full time basis. The staff are so genuine and friendly and look after him so well. The level of care is outstanding, and he is learning so much. My son was once read 24 books in a row by one of the lovely staff members. I could not be happier, and I am so grateful that I chose Busy Bees on Severrals Landas my sons childcare provider.

Cannot fault this nursery. My little boy has been at the nursery since he was 7 months old and they always go above and beyond for him and for anything I have to query. The girls always give me really good feedback about what he has been doing/eaten etc when I come to pick him up. He always has something to bring home from nursery such as paintings, drawings or arts and crafts which is really nice. The management and staff are always really quick to help with anything and are really lovely. My son is very happy at Busy Bees and really enjoys going straight in!

Our daughter has recently left Busy Bees for school after 2 years of outstanding care and learning. To see her confidence grow from a shy little girl worried to leave her Mum’s side to seeing her bounding through the doors of the nursery excited to spend the day learning with her peers is amazing and we now have the pleasure of seeing our son enjoying this incredible setting for the next 2 years. The level of care and attention that is given by the staff is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble when settling the children in initially and the bonds that the children form with the staff is so reassuring as a parent.
We have always been made to feel extremely welcome by the management and staff and are constantly kept up to date with any achievements or progress our children have made. There’s nothing quite like receiving a notification by way of a picture of your child with the biggest grin on his face enjoying his time at nursery. Worth every penny to know they are safe and happy.

Absolutely amazing, the staff are brilliant. My son has special needs and I 100% trust everyone with my boy. They know how to support his needs and have helped so much with getting funding and I. He has grown so much and learning new things all the time.

My son has attended Busy Bees at Colchester since April 2020, he started just as lockdown started and he has thrived. He has grown and learnt so much with the help of nursery. The ladies treat him as one of their own. Whilst nursery isn’t the cheapest, it’s most definitely worth every penny for helping shape my son and others, also there is content available to help parents at home which is brilliant as a first-time parent. The ladies at nursery are always happy to help with any advice around dealing with issues like biting and are happy to explain how it’s dealt with, nothing is too much trouble. My son absolutely loves nursery and so do my husband and I. The ladies have done a wonderful job and continue to do so.

From our daughter’s first day at nursery, the staff have been very caring and professional. Communication during drop-off and pick-up is very detailed and you are given lots of detail about what your child has done during the day. The baby room is well resourced with lots of different activities and our daughter is very comfortable with her key workers. We are very pleased with the amount of time provided outdoors in the modern play area too. It is great that all staff members know our daughter’s name even though they may not be directly involved with looking after her. Updates are regularly given on the parents’ app with photos and lots of detail. The food menu is varied and it’s good to know our daughter is getting nutritious meals every day. The nursery is always spotlessly clean when you go in and it has a lovely atmosphere to it. We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

I would 100% recommend Busy Bees at Colchester. My Daughter has been at Busy Bee’s since she was 10months old and will be starting school in September and although she is excited to start school she is so sad to leave Busy Bees. My Daughter is always greeted with smiles and asked how she is and if she is ready for some Breakfast and this is every morning that she attends without fail. This also includes the Manager which I think makes the service even more personable, she too will greet the children to take them to their room and at pick up will bring the Children out, knows all the Children by name and who their parents are and it’s clear that all the Staff and Children think the world of her.
It is just all in all a very happy, friendly, safe place and I always feel comfortable and at ease when my daughter attends. So much so that I am due a baby in July and have already applied for my Baby to attend Busy Bees.

My two children are in attendance full-time and could not be happier during their time. My baby has an amazing bond with her key person and has continued to thrive in her development. My 2-year-old is learning new language and her key worker is enabling us to promote her language skills, building her confidence.

Both my children have attended this nursery. My son has now gone to primary school, but my daughter attends 5 days a week. The nursery staff are all amazing with the children, the nursery is very clean and tidy and has an amazing outdoor play area, as well as different areas of play and learning activities inside. My daughter looks forward to nursery and always has lots of fun whilst learning at the same time. The nursery also has dress-up days/celebrations/parties. I always have peace of mind whilst my daughter is at Busy Bees, she is in safe hands and always enjoys her time there.
