Bright Horizons Chelmsford Day Nursery and Preschool

The team are incredible and are consistently so compassionate and attentive. My daughter also loves coming and it’s so nice to see her go in and come out so cheerful. Wouldnt suggest anywhere else! My daughter has been coming to Bright Horizons Chelmsford Day Childcare centre and Preschool for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier with how she has settled and also progressed in herself since then.

Loving and attentive team and excellent stellar facilities. The management team is consistently around to make sure you leave that place cheerful and little one loves being there, so I guess that is the best positive review you can have. Stellar place for our baby.

I’m nervous about her going to preschool as there is a man working there she’s really shy around men. I couldn’t thank the girls enough for working alongside my daughter and myself with speech and language, the girls called me saying they think she’s got a urine infection they helped so much collecting her wee for me. I have worked in a childcare centre since I was 15 years old and I knew what I was looking for and wanting and honestly, I couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre for my daughter! Thank you all for helping her to come out of her shell, she loves childcare centre and can’t wait to go. I was very sceptical about taking my daughter into the childcare centre as she was so shy and I couldn’t take her in due to the pandemic, but I couldn’t believe it she doesn’t even wave at me at times.

I drive out of my way to get my son here. Even my older kid still wishes she went and she left three years ago for school. The team are so welcoming, my little boy loves going to childcare centre and has done since he started at six months old.
Consistently kept up to date with his schedule and consistently there to answer any questions or concerns we may have. Second time using this childcare centre.

The team are all exceptional and so attentive, they really take an interest in your kid and personal aspects of their life. I sense my daughter has learnt so much while in attendance and would suggest it to anyone! My daughter loves it here, she has attended since nine months old and is now two and a half, I sense so cheerful she enjoys herself so much and is excited to go in on the days she attends.

Since that day, she has thrived beyond what we could ever expect. She consistently comes home cheerful, full of stories about things she has done and has created lovely memories along the way. She has incredible relationships with all the team in the setting – from core team in her room, to management and the chef. The management are consistently ready to listen to concerns, help in any way they can and make time for every family who comes into the setting. The Chef makes delicious meals that we hear all about at home and we are amazed by what she eats at childcare centre. Overall, we couldn’t ask for a better start to our little ones journey. The setting is modern, spotless, diverse and like a family to anyone who comes through their doors. My little girl started Bright Horizons, Chelmsford in 2020, in the baby room.

An incredible childcare centre that my daughter (3 years old) enjoys every day attending, she enjoys coming home and telling us about her day and all the activities she has been up to.
Team are exceptionally welcoming and supportive in both helping with my kid’s development and also investing their time and skills in the care of my daughter, easing any issues or fears we have as parents.
My daughter has been able to form a personality that is both encouraged and developed further by the carers at the childcare centre.

We have been through every single room and encountered pretty much every member of team and ALL of them have been utterly attentive and supportive of our daughter’s needs over the last 3 years. The activities that the kids do are engaging and enjoyable, offering opportunities that I couldn’t at home e.g using a light box, programming a bug as well as core skills – maths and English. The app allows continuous updates throughout the day – I know everything about their days from toileting, bottles, food consumption and of course fab photos of what they are doing. Management go above and beyond. They are so welcoming and approachable and really care about the journey of parents and kids. In terms of safeguarding, I sense my kids are very well protected. We get calls for all bumps/plasters etc. Accident forms are completed, and any incidents with other kids are dealt with sensitively and quickly. 10/10 from us! I am so pleased we chose Bright Horizons Chelmsford Day Childcare centre for our kids.

Plenty of activities, my little one particularly loves the outdoor space and activities. The menus are varied and nutritional. The crackers and fruit snacks are favourites. The kids seem to bond really well so there is obviously a excellent atmosphere. Modern, spotless and refreshing childcare centre ideally located with plenty of parking.

Honestly, if I had walked my son around the childcare centre after the nice manager lady left 2 years ago, I would never have brought my kid here. Lack of updates, don’t safeguard your kids. Quick enough to put your kid on ABC charts and naughty observations charts but quick to call social services for kid abuse but accuse mums of lying and using mental health issues against people and they are not very great at noticing signs for kids that need assessments.
Would highly not suggest this childcare centre until the managers are changed. I will be going to Ofsted about this childcare centre! The new managers are absolutely shocking.
