Step Start Heybridge

The team have supported her through the change and have encouraged/celebrated her successes. I adore being able to see what she gets up to and watching her bond with the team and her peers grow.
My 8-month-old son has also started with me returning to work from maternity leave. He has settled so well, and the team have taken a lot of time to get to know him well. My son can’t stop smiling at the team when I drop him off, and it makes going to work so much easier! Starting Steps is a breath of fresh air from the childcare centre my daughter previously attended.

When we started, we had a big challenge on our hands – my little girl was at a previous childcare centre for a very long time, but with the assistance of the team, the transition went smoothly for both my little girl and us as parents. We were kept up to date with what she was doing and how she was settling in. The app put my mind at ease, and whenever a question was asked, it was responded to straight away by the team. Three months in, my little girl is cheerful and runs into the childcare centre every morning, looking forward to spending the day there. They are currently getting her ready for school next year, and she is coming on massively – she comes home and tells us about what she has learnt. I am so glad we chose to put her in Step Start; the team are exceptional, attentive and understanding. They also off a variety of food during the day. My little girl started Step Start in July 22, and we couldn’t be happier with the childcare centre.

They have made the transition seamless, and my daughter is very fond of each and every one of them, especially two members of team. Just three weeks in, it was a joy to see how well the team know her and how they can comfort her and accommodate her needs. The app gives such peace of mind, and the photos and updates that you receive make you sense like you are involved with their day and their development. My kid has settled into the childcare centre amazingly, along with the help of the lovely setting and the fantastic team.

We are so pleased with the care and assistance they are given by the team. The team are consistently so positive and put in 100% to make sure the kids have the best day. We’ve consistently had excellent updates with the team, who have consistently put our minds at ease. Our kids adore going to childcare centre, and we, as parents, couldn’t be happier! Our kids have made incredible development at Step Start Heybridge.

He only goes one day a week, so it did take him a while to settle. But now he loves childcare centre and often talks about it at home; he says he goes to the childcare centre to have ‘enjoyable’ and ‘playtime’ – his words. He is consistently talking about his key person as he has formed a excellent bond with her. The childcare centre keeps you well up to date through the app, which is exceptional. The childcare centre is consistently spotless and welcoming. I’m so cheerful that my son feels at home there, and I would definitely suggest the childcare centre to others. My son started Start Steps in June 2022 when he was 14 months old.

Like any parent picking a childcare centre, we were apprehensive as you got to hope your choice is a great one, and you have to trust the team. From day one, she has loved it and still does. She loves all the team; they are all so welcoming and attentive. We dont have any issues when dropping her off, which for me, is such a great thing. It was a fear of mine as I’d stressed about her. The variety of food is exceptional. The activities she does there are remarkable and so varied; she seems to consistently delight in her day. I adore the app as I can see what she’s had whilst I’m at work. I adore it when she’s not at childcare centre and we bump into a member of team, she loves seeing them, and they are consistently cheerful to stop and say hello. The updates from team is outstanding if we need to get hold of them about anything.
Definitely glad we sent our daughter here. My daughter has been attending Step Start since April 22 and absolutely loves it.

We moved him over to Step Start Heybridge at the end of March and have not looked back!
In the five months, he has been there, there haven’t been any problems; if he has been struggling, he has been fully supported by team so frustrations haven’t developed and he has become a much happier and more settled kid.
The resources that the kids have access to for discovering are incredible. The team care so much for the kids and also their family and will assistance them in any way they can.
Our son loves going to childcare centre, enjoys the meals and snacks and has so much enjoyable.
His development and independence have grown so much in his short time here, and the team have really helped to prepare him for school with regular updates for us too.
We’re just sad he has to leave to go to school! Our kid had been struggling at a previous childcare centre as he wasn’t being supported with dealing with his emotions, which led to spiralling behaviour to the point that we dreaded collection time.

Almost a year later, she is still loving it and thriving. When she first started, my wife and I were concerned about how little she spoke, even though she had a remarkable understanding, she didn’t have a wide range of vocabulary. But in just a few short months, she was speaking with full sentences and is now talking nonstop. Step Start has really helped her improve in all areas of her discovering and helped her build self‑assurance and social skills. She also loves trying new foods, thanks to the lovely variety of hot meals the childcare centre offers. The team are really supportive and have outstanding updates. The childcare centre is consistently very spotless, and they provide remarkable activities for the kids. Such a great childcare centre that provides outstanding care. My daughter started at Step Start when she was 20 months old in November 2021 when the childcare centre first opened.
