Butterfly Day Nursery

A big thank you to all! Having my kids at home over the last few months due to the pandemic has made us appreciate more all the fantastic things they did at Butterfly and all the thought and effort team go through to plan activities and catch it on camera to share with us on the parent app.

This has benefited our kid greatly since we were new to the area. We have now been with them two years and the team were excellent at accommodating our use of cloth nappies, guiding us through the awkward potty training stage, and now with supporting us in primary school selections. The new manager who started this year has been sending routine updates via email about the activities going on at the childcare centre, and the photos and videos provided on the Tapestry website are consistently lovely to see. The only negative is that the car park being very small makes it awkward at busy collection times to navigate the space, but this just incentivises us to collect our kid using the bike instead of the car which is better for many reasons anyway. We will be sad to leave this childcare centre when our kid goes to primary school later this year. We chose this childcare centre due to it being smaller and with a more personal sense to it.

My kid enjoys her time there gets to make great relationships with all other kids and team alike. The team understand that all kids are different and give specialised care for each kid as they require. A very homelike atmosphere for the kids.

Teachers are very nice and patient especially with my son as English is not his first language. Very nice childcare centre!

I am glad we took the decision of bringing her to Butterfly Day Nursery. The Staff is lovely and provides an extraordinarily attentive and stimulating setting for the kids. I am very cheerful with the journey of bringing our daughter there for 3 years now.

He rushes in every morning (often stumbling over his feet because he is in such a hurry to playtime with his friends!) and gives each member of team, individually, a hug and a kiss.
At the end of the day, he is still busy and often needs a bit of persuasion to leave (several members of team tend to say “are you ready to take Mummy home?” which I think is lovely). He is also very chatty now and often refers to what he has been doing during the day.
All the members of team know all the kids by their first name (including the owner of the childcare centre). They are very welcoming, loving and attentive. From day 1 I have consistently been very cheerful to leave my kid in their care in the peace of mind that he is being well looked after. My kid is clearly very cheerful at Butterfly Day Nursery.

His confidence has developed and he just treasures meeting and playing with his friends! Butterfly Day Nursery have a great space, with lot’s to do, outdoors or indoors! Our boy adores the outdoors, so picking the right nursery setting with a suitable garden was important for us. We’re so pleased we’ve put our newborn on the register to start soon! He’s cherished his time here and still enjoys going everyday for 3 odd hours. Everything we needed for him during his time is provided, from foods to toys and we even have a diary about the things he’s been doing. My boy started here when he was a baby, the personnel were wonderful in helping us settle him in. The setting has a extremely warm homely setting and the carers couldn’t be more supportive.

Our kid has attended in the baby room from the age of 5 months to 19 months old and has formed strong bonds with the team. You can really see the genuine affection the team have for the kids in their care, which is lovely and so reassuring as a parent. The team are also outstanding at updates, giving updates each day and posting plenty of pictures and information to the app, so we can follow along with what our kid has been doing each day. We have also really appreciated everything the childcare centre has done during Covid to maintain a secure setting, which can’t have been easy. We’re now moving out of the area, so will be sad to leave, but Butterfly has been such a lovely first childcare centre journey for our kid. We can only hope the next one, will be as great! We have had a fantastic journey with Butterfly Day Nursery.

The team are welcoming and knowledgable, and are consistently cheerful and welcoming at the gate. The childcare centre have done an outstanding job of managing the extra demands of Covid-19 in a sensible and comprehensive way. Transitions between the rooms are very well managed, and we had a great journey of potty discovering with the help of the team in the Toddler room. Thank you Butterfly Day Nursery! Both of our kids have had a fantastic time at Butterfly Day Nursery.

The adore and care my kids received on a daily basis was outstanding! If I could pick the childcare centre up and move it with us I would. I am going to miss this place very much. The amount of daily feedback and personal care was just incredible. I highly suggest sending your kids to Butterfly! Butterfly Day Nursery is a truly outstanding place!

The childcare centre provided lots of different discovering activities and experiences, and lots of enjoyable! Our daughter established strong relationships with team.
The team are very welcoming and updates is very great. We are very impressed with Butterfly Day childcare centre!
