Little Steps Day Care

I really cherish this early‑years hub, it feels like a lovely place, and the personnel are really fantastic. In the time that my little boy has been here, his speech, independence, social competences have all massively progressed. I have even had a parents evening, where the team showed me how he is meeting the EYFS Statutory Framework, along with pictures that they document to show he is meeting these targets. The crew complete a daily diary so you know what you little one has been up to, what they have eaten, how much they have slept, and their nappy changes. This childcare centre is lovely. He always seems to have a great day with lots of varying activities. The crew are exceptionally cordial and welcoming, and my little boy has really bonded with all of them. The food is remarkable, always home made and there always seems to be a good variety. The setting is beautiful, it’s easy to get to, and good parking. On occasion, they also open and put on fun things for the kids, such as Easter egg hunts, BBQ’s etc.

The team are fantastic and so useful, always with time to talk and able to offer practical advice. Our young lad has now been going to Little Steps for 3 years and the team have become like family to all of us. Our young lad is always excited to go to nursery setting which says a lot!

My girl has been going here for about a month and I could not be happier. We are so glad we found the nursery setting when we did. My little one adores going there and we could not be happier. The childcare centre is in an remarkable setting with big rooms and loads of toys to keep them busy for hours. The crew are fantastic, they made us feel welcome from the start, the updates between us is fantastic.

Our young lad started when he was just 6 months old and he has found the transition to childcare centre super easy, which surprised me after being in lockdown with just me and his dad for his entire life! The little updates that they post on the app throughout the day reassure you that your youngster is having a great time! I have already recommended Little Steps to my pregnant friend and I would happily advocate it to anyone else. You can tell they treasure their jobs and really enjoy spending time with the little ones. Most importantly, he is so delighted there! The three of us absolutely treasure Little Steps – me, my partner and our little one! The photos make my heart melt. He always smiles when we walk up to the door in the mornings and is excited to see the team, who are experienced, knowledgeable and blooming lovely. I was worried about returning to work full time when my boy was so young, but he is truly flourishing in the care of Little Steps and I never worry about him.

They focus on developing a healthy bond with the kid and they are supporting the parents with raising assured, independent and caring kids respecting and embracing diversity. She certainly feels at home in the setting and she has adored her carers throughout her journey in the unit. The team are there to make the little ones feel at home. My girl joined when she was 10 months old (she’s now 3 years old). There is a huge variety of activities as well. I’ve also noticed that carers work with the kids encouraging them to develop good manners and teaching them to respect each other, set boundaries to self and others, speak up when she does not feel right and also work on problem-solving and managing emotions which, to me, are vital life skills. The setting itself is spotless, warm and colorful with Montessori touches and has a lot of interesting corners for the little ones to explore. The home-cooked food that the setting provides is truly delicious and my young lady enjoys it.

Nursery is exceptionally hygienic and set in beautiful countryside surroundings, outside activities area reflects this. My little boy has developed into a confident thrilled little one and I would 100% advocate this early‑years hub to anyone who wants their youngster to be the same. My 18 month old settled in extremely quickly, crew go above and beyond expectations and their passion for youngsters is clear to see. Brilliant childcare centre! My little boy thoroughly enjoys it and looks forward to going,much so that I have recently increased the days he is enrolled at. Staff really are brilliant and exceptionally attentive towards youngsters, I am given daily updates of what my little one has done, eaten etc that day. Nursery is spacious with plenty of toys and fun things that enable youngsters to absorb and grow through games. Good work guys, 5 stars all round!
