The Woodlands Nursery and Pre-school

When our son started nursery he was made to feel like one of the family by staff. Any issues the staff always provide detailed information to families about any upcoming events like world book day. They are always happy kind caring and happy staff and the children always are excited to enter the setting every morning.

My son has been going to the Woodlands now for around a year. I have always felt so comfortable leaving him as he’s always so happy to go in everyday, and never refuses or gets upset, and always happy when collecting him, which tells me he is happy. All the staff always show such a loving, happy and positive attitude towards my son, which is so lovely to see.
They provide lots of fun activities and days out too. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son started going to The Woodlands in 2021 which during the height of the pandemic was a bit worrying but I can’t praise the staff there highly enough. It’s a clean and beautiful setting. Since my son started there his speech has come on no end and his social skills have too. He absolutely loves going and seeing all of his friends and teachers. You can really see it’s a genuinely loving and caring environment not just one of learning but also one where the children find themselves. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they listen to all of your concerns and are always there to give you any advice too. Thank you ladies for all you do. I cannot wait to send my daughter in the future.

Our ‘daughter’ has been going to The Woodlands since October 2020 and she has thrived every day. She sadly had suffered some adverse childhood experiences which made her quite wary, and the nursery was a brand new concept to her but right from the get-go she has been nurtured, supported, and loved, and she has come on in leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and academically. I know we will be so very sad to leave them all, it makes me teary just thinking about it and will really miss everyone, especially one member of staff, in particular, who she absolutely adores. I highly recommend this nursery.

Since starting at this nursery over 2 years ago, my granddaughter has loved every minute there, this is truly an amazing place that I would highly recommend, the staff are outstanding and a credit to the nursery. She has learnt so much, the facilities are great and above all, she is in a safe environment.

My eldest daughter (3) always goes in and comes out happy. She has thrived since going and has learnt so much from the lovely and attentive staff here. My youngest daughter (1) has just started this month, and so far, she has settled in extremely well, which is always a relief. The team here just seem so at ease with the children and always look out for their best interests. Communication is great, and the online app is great for giving us insight into what they get up to. I would highly recommend this nursery setting to anyone.

My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old and she has been coming on leaps and bounds. The girls are absolutely amazing with her and she smiles at each and every one, when they come into the room. I’m so pleased I chose this nursery for my daughter as she was able to settle quickly and the staff kept me updated regularly throughout the day.

The ladies at The Woodlands go above and beyond to care for, nurture and watch over my daughter. She has come on leaps and bounds since joining and despite only coming once a week, always comes home having learned something new. Her motor skills and communication have increased unbelievably. She is always well-fed with healthy, homemade dinners and snacks after having the best day of learning and play. She is always so excited for nursery day and really enjoys seeing the staff and the friends that she has made. I and my husband cannot thank the staff enough for the energy they put into their work and I would recommend The Woodlands to anyone.

Both of my little girls have been going here since last year and both have thrived in this nursery. My eldest started here as quite a shy quiet child and every day she is growing in confidence thanks to the encouragement given to her by every member of staff. There is always a friendly familiar face to welcome you every morning. Due to the smaller size of this nursery and that their staff turn over is low, you feel that the children develop a good bond with all of the staff which makes transitioning through the rooms a lot less unsettling. Communication is good and the ladies always try to put your mind at ease if the children are a little unsettled by sending messages in the day. The staff in the baby room are so loving and attentive to individual children’s needs and create a home away from home. They plan new topics and experiences every day for the children to be involved with which is lovely to see. Keep up the good work.

Our youngest daughter only attends The Woodlands once a week, so we were surprised to see how quickly she has settled in. This is down to the warm and caring welcome she receives and the fantastic range of activities. Our eldest daughter still talks fondly about her time there too. Well done to you all.
