The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Mickleover

My wife and I have used this nursery for eight years and I would always recommend how secure, professional, caring and attentive the staff are. We have never worried about leaving our children here, it’s the trust we have and this is most important.

The staff in the baby room are so lovely and caring towards my son. Three staff members have been brilliant in answering the hundreds of questions I have had over the last couple of months! I can’t wait to see how my little boy develops over the next few years at Orange Tree, Mickleover.

The staff at Orange Tree @ Mickleover have been amazing with my daughter. They have really helped her settle in and have been working so hard on her speech development- she’s really come on so much in her communication since she has been with the lovely ladies at Orange Tree. She is so happy to come to nursery. She really loves the unrivaled outdoor space the nursery offers- this was the main reason we picked Orange Tree @ Mickleover over other nurseries in the area.

I cannot rate the staff at Mickleover highly enough.
My son adores them and clearly loves spending his days at this nursery.
He has come on leaps and bounds since moving into the caterpillar room thanks to the dedication the staff put into his development.
It’s clear each and every one of them put the time and effort into this and to getting to know his character and personality.
The space is fantastic and there are so many activities for him to enjoy – including the beautiful orchard outside which I hear he loves to explore.
I would recommend this nursery again and again.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Always greeted with a smile and feel safe knowing my child will be going to have a fun day and will be well looked after. I’m always impressed how all the staff (from all departments) know my child’s name. The Christmas fair confirmed that I had made the right decision with my choice of nursery for my child, the staff were so friendly and fun!

Excellent care provided within the nursery. My daughter is extremely happy to go there each day. She is very keen to play and meet her favourite teacher at the nursery.
As a mother, it gives me peace of mind when my daughter mentions she is happy at the nursery.

I have nothing but nice things to say about Orange Tree Mickleover! From the moment we looked around the staff were so accommodating; helping a very emotional mama who was leaving her baby. Both Dad and I fell in love with the setting. Not only the staff but the set up and engaging activities laid out. Not forgetting the orchard itself! We just knew our little 3-year-old would fall in love. And she did. She is excited to go every morning and it’s the first time she openly tells us what she has done with her day and who she has played with with such enthusiasm. And on the mornings where she has struggled, she is welcomed with loving and caring cuddles to settle her.
Honestly; Five staff members have all had such a positive impact on my little girl- I will be sad when she has to leave. But I know that this team are preparing her well for her next adventure in September!

The Orange Tree Day Nursery at Mickleover is a wonderful nursery. When my son is greeted in the morning, the staff always have a smile on their face and speak to him as well as myself. They have accommodated well for his severe dietary requirements and communicate with me and his dad. He always comes home happy and clean at the end of the day. Thank you, Orange Tree.

My daughter started this nursery in the midst of all the covid, she was provided a few settling in sessions but needed a few more as she didn’t settle easy. The staff at The Orange Tree were fabulous with her, especially one staff member who is now no longer with us she enabled her to feel comfortable and confident and bring that cheeky lovable side out of her and will be forever grateful for that.
The ladies are good with the children and I’m happy that my daughter feels happy and comfortable there, lovely nursery.
