The team are compassionate and supportive, working tirelessly to give the kids their very best. The cooked meals often get a great review from my daughter too. We sense lucky she is there. The YMCA childcare centre in Andover have been stellar in every way.

September 12, 2024 at 6:24 amWe moved to this childcare centre because of an unfortunate journey with the precious childcare centre. We are so glad that we made that move.
My twins were not talking and were not socialising with other kids when we came to YMCA. It’s only been 10 months now and they both talking and very socialised. When I pick them up, I get an update with all the things they did such as what they ate or what activities they were involved. Every 4-6 weeks we get to sit down and talk about their development. We are super cheerful with all the YMCA team and very sad to leave for the big school. Thank you so much with everything that you did to my babies. We can’t thank enough to all the compassionate, welcoming, supportive and supportive team of this lovely childcare centre.

October 13, 2024 at 1:36 pmOne of my kids has SEN and they have been outstanding in supporting his development, tracking his attainment and putting targets in place to assistance him. He consistently comes home telling us what a remarkable day he has had, the friends he has made and all the delicious food he has eaten.
The setting is well thought out, inviting, engaging and motivating.
They also offer a breakfast club which is excellent for working parents.
Childcare is expensive wherever you go but I trust the YMCA wholeheartedly with my kids.
I would suggest them to all parents in Andover, thank you YMCA! The YMCA Childcare centre is simply the best!
I have 2 kids here and I couldn’t think of a better place for them to be.
The team are remarkable and really understand each individual kid and what they need to development to the next stage of their development.

November 10, 2024 at 4:11 amThe team are all remarkable with him, and I’ve seen him come such a long way in the time that he’s been there. Being at the childcare centre has helped him become a confident, outgoing, inquisitive little boy, and I am absolutely thrilled with his development.
All the team are really welcoming and approachable and cheerful to take the time to talk about things I need reassurance on. The childcare centre itself is a lovely, spacious building, and the three rooms are full of lots of enjoyable things to do for each age group (I know my son is going to adore the castle in the pre-school room when he moves up!).
The garden is a really great size, with many different areas with enjoyable things to do. They use an app to keep parents updated of the kids’ days, so I consistently know how my boy has eaten/slept, and on collection, I get an update on his day from the team. Couldn’t be happier – highly recommended! My little boy has been going to this childcare centre since he was nine months old (he’s now two).

I’m particularly impressed with the extra assistance that’s given from the SENCo leader. She has done such a great job helping with some issues my little one has and ensures all the team are equally briefed so everyone delivers the same routine for him. Well done to the manager for leading such a excellent team, all your hard work is much appreciated! I can’t thank the YMCA and all their team enough for the remarkable care and assistance they give to my son.

December 4, 2024 at 4:51 amShe’s been through all 3 rooms and started school this September. YMCA provided a enjoyable, secure and supportive setting for her in which she thrived. She was consistently so excited about her days at childcare centre. The team have been remarkable and we are extremely grateful to them all! My son is currently in Toddlers and has 2 years remaining at childcare centre. He is enjoying every moment and it’s been fantastic to see him grow in self‑assurance. My daughter was one of the first to join YMCA Andover when it opened at just 1-year-old.

The team are excellent – really welcoming and informative of anything that needed discussing about my kids’s development. I highly suggest the setting and I can confidently say I would not be if I didn’t think it was excellent! My twin boys attended the setting having never been away from me.

My girls are very cheerful and run into childcare centre without looking back most days. The facilities are excellent and cater for all ages, my girls delight in the garden the most. YMCA is definitely the best childcare centre choice for my girls. My two girls have settled in really well at YMCA Childcare centre Andover.

The team are incredible and are consistently attentive. They want the best out of every kid. My youngest daughter has been attending YMCA Andover for approx 18 months.

The team are remarkable. She has learnt a lot and come a long way and that is thanks to the team.
The team behind the scenes are remarkable as well. My daughter loves this childcare centre.

There is a variety of activities every day and a big garden, full of toys and games.
The team are incredible and I sense completely comfortable leaving my son in their hands.
I highly suggest this childcare centre. My son has been at YMCA Childcare centre since January after we moved to the area.

March 16, 2025 at 5:02 amMy godson is not school ready and the parent partnership is not to a standard I would expect for my godson. The team are welcoming and they greet the kids by name but when it comes to working alongside parents they don’t do this effectively enough.

They are passionate about what they do and I’m very grateful for all they have done for us. Thanks, ladies! Special mention must be made to six members of team in particular. My son started at the YMCA at the age of 1 year 1 month soon after the childcare centre opened its doors.

April 29, 2025 at 8:52 pmMy mind is thoroughly at ease and at peace when dropping him off in the morning. The care and assistance are exceptional. He is consistently eager to go to childcare centre. He has also made loads of friends with the other kids and team alike. The daily activities and discovering have helped shaped and developed his discovering and speech. We are currently working on potty training and the team are very supportive in this stage. My little man has been in YMCA for a year and a half and never have I had a reason to complain.

All the team have been incredible, especially the SENCO who has supported not only my son but myself, as a parent and nothing is ever too much trouble. I’m looking forward to enrolling my youngest son into the baby room next year. My son has really enjoyed his time at YMCA.
