Woodlands Day Nursery & Nursery School

He looks forward to his days there and talks about what he has done and the team all the time at home. He has been telling me about his trips to forest school that he has recently enjoyed them. I would definitely suggest Woodlands. My little boy thoroughly enjoys his days there. My son had never been to any setting before and settled really well at Woodlands, thanks to the lovely, welcoming team and manager.

The team are extremely attentive and expert. They go above and beyond to provide the kids with such a high level of care and attention. My girls left with so many cheerful memories and self‑assurance. Self‑assurance that even their reception educators would praise them for.
Everything from the organisation of kids’s activities, to hygiene and food, has honestly exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the fabulous team of remarkable people at Woodlands childcare centre that leave me at ease when my kids are with them. They even soldiered on the entire time during the covid pandemic to stay open for parents that had to work with the utmost safety and professionalism. True heroes! I don’t think I could be happier with any other team to look after my girls.

They are so welcoming, interested, attentive and really approachable.
They do so many excellent activities with the kids and my son really enjoys his childcare centre days.
They care a lot and give really excellent feedback for the parents to see what their kid has been up to in the day.
They also have an app where the parents can upload what their kid has been doing and they can do the same so the parents can see what their kid has been up to at childcare centre. We personally find this invaluable so we can keep up with the things he’s enjoying (some of which we would never have thought of) and it helps with his development.
They also have a excellent outdoor garden where they grow their own veggies and have playtime equipment for all ages.
We really couldn’t suggest highly enough. Our son is full of smiles when he arrives and all of the team consistently make him sense welcome and seem really cheerful to see him. Myself and my son’s dad couldn’t speak highly enough of this childcare centre and their team.

The care my daughter has received has been incredible! I returned to work when my daughter was 6-months-old so it was quite difficult for me to leave her, but the Woodlands team put my mind at ease straight away with the way they cared for her. She is consistently very excited to see the team in the mornings! The team here really know the kids, and they are consistently setting up personalised activities related to her current interests, which are really lovely. The management is also remarkable, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The team also upload lots of pictures of her, which is excellent to see what she has been getting up to, and she is usually grinning in the pictures! I cannot suggest Woodlands childcare centre enough.

I saw him development little by little and become more and more cheerful in the childcare centre. I am very cheerful about the childcare centre because firstly I think they have very great management and teamwork, for example, their carers system that not only the main carer gets familiar with my son but other carers also do. Secondly, the cleanliness of the childcare centre is excellent. I expected my son would get sick very often for his first few months but actually, he is not. The carers look after him really well. I am very thankful for the team and I am so glad that I chose Woodlands Day Childcare centre & Childcare centre School for my son. My son went to childcare centre at 2 and a half years old and settled in approximately just over a month.

Within weeks, my son has developed great relationships with the team. The manager and team are very attentive, welcoming and supportive. I would suggest it to any future parents. My kid eagerly runs to the door for the team to let him in each morning and leaves with a huge smile on his face. He is flourishing under their guidance, especially his key worker. Updates with team before and after every session helps us sense very supported. Furthermore, updates from the childcare centre (as a whole) is frequent and informative. I have been impressed with the activities that the kids do and there are plenty of opportunities for them to playtime in the remarkable garden area. You’re doing a fab job Woodlands! I am so pleased with the care and service from Woodlands.

Our first kid had an incredible journey there and what is so lovely, is that all those things that we loved about Woodlands seven years ago are still there and more. The setting itself is lovely, spotless and really well equipped and the team are incredible. The management go above and beyond to ensure that both parents and kids are cheerful and reassured. I consistently suggest it to my friends, as I know that they will be as impressed as I am. This is the second time that we have used Woodlands.

I am extremely cheerful with the care she receives. The team are all so attentive and welcoming. My kid absolutely loves it and she consistently goes in cheerful and excited for the day. The development I’ve seen in my daughter since she started has been outstanding. I would highly suggest Woodlands Day Childcare centre to anybody for their kids. My daughter has been going to this childcare centre for over a year now.

Compared to other nurseries that we viewed, it just gave us the right feeling of a home away from home for our little one.
Our daughter started childcare centre being just 10 months old, but all the worries that you have as a parent were addressed and she settled amazingly quickly after just a few sessions. Now she loves going and enjoys the incredible variety of activities (even for the young babies in rabbits) and the delicious food that’s on offer every day.
The team are outstanding, everyone is so nice and expert and even the team looking after the older kids all know the young ones too. It’s like one big family.
It’s exceptional to see all the pictures of what my daughter has been up to on the app.
The admin team are excellent too, you consistently get a quick response to any queries.
The outdoor area is lovely and the kids get taken outside a lot. It’s a excellent childcare centre all around! We decided on Woodlands before our daughter was even born.

It was a journey that was difficult for both my daughter and myself to commence. Leaving a kid is never an easy thing to do but the girls who so tenderly cared for my daughter made it easy. She transitioned from the Rabbits to the Hedgehogs smoothly. The Hedgehog ladies were remarkable and have treated me like family. They have supported not only my daughter but my family and myself through a very traumatic loss journey. I will forever be indebted to the ladies who looked after my kid when I physically couldn’t and made sure that my daughter was none the wiser about the loss and for that reason alone I would suggest this childcare centre to everyone. The level of care, kindness, empathy and assistance along with an outstanding discovering setting for the kids that they collectively provide as a unit makes them truly outstanding. My daughter started at Woodlands at eleven months old.
