Woodlands Day Nursery

The team are outstanding, and the kids clearly enjoy their time there – and are always development something new. Updates is just right. We regularly get photos and write-ups about what has happened during the day, which is useful to discuss at home‑like. Our second youngster is in his final few weeks before starting centre. Thank you to everyone at Woodlands – we will miss you! We have had two kids attend Woodlands Day Nursery over the past six years and have only excellent things to say.

I am so pleased that we chose Woodlands and thank the team for their assistance. He settled into the baby room truly well, after we were all made to feel so welcome – even with Covid restrictions in place. My son has been at Woodlands now for 6 months and is always so excited to go to nursery. It fills me with pride to see him content and thriving in the nursery setting. He has grown so much and developed so many new abilities with the help of all the ladies there.

I can’t express how impressed we are with Woodlands Day Nursery. She always looks forward to it and she is always exhausted when she gets home‑like after a day of development and playing. After the first lockdown, our daughter was extremely shy and upset going back to nursery, but the team were extremely patient and nurturing to ensure she settled back in. Now when I go to pick her up, I think she would rather stay at nursery!

The wide range of activities available, both indoors and outside are fantastic and keep him challenged and entertained. We are looking forward to his new adventure at Woodlands as he transitions to the toddler room. The ladies there are always so inviting and I know he is secure and well cared for. As well as showing the variety of food on the menu and the different activities they’ve completed. His confidence and happiness while at Woodlands, is a joy to see. My son has been at Woodlands Day Nursery for a year now and he has grown so much, in so many ways. We adore that we get regular updates through the app, which keeps us updated on how much food he’s eaten and naptimes.

Naturally, we have had some challenges with confidence and settling but the team have been incredibly understanding and patient. I am also truly content with the variety of food offered as he can be fussy and rarely tried new things I prepare. You find creative ways to tie in with his passions (trains/cars). He has settled so well and not only loves nursery but also has learnt so much more with the variety of activities you do with him every day. My son has recently transitioned from the baby room to the toddler room, the experience has been so positive.

The team are fantastic and I feel content at drop-offs when my youngster greets them with smiles and cuddles. The nursery manager is the icing on the cake. After viewing several large nurseries we chose Woodlands Day Nursery and couldn’t be happier. If I have a worry or question she is never too busy. I such as that Woodlands is a smaller setting, it feels more personal, a truly delightful nursery. She is so supportive and communicates with us brilliantly. My youngster is thriving there and loves to go in each day.

Every time he attends he does a new session. My son absolutely loves attending nursery here. The team are delightful and kind. Since attending he has come on lots, growth wise. There is so much for him to do and develop there. Overall truly content with Woodlands Day Nursery.

Management and the team are always content and flexible to meet your own needs. My daughter has been extremely content at Woodlands Day Nursery and her growth has been incredible. Updates is fantastic and I feel that I get a real insight into what’s happening on a daily or weekly basis. I also adore the curiosity approach they use for the growth of the kids – I think it’s truly beneficial in those early years. She has made many friends and gets on well with all the team.

They have helped them settle and grow whilst taking them as individuals. They are extremely different in their characters, the team have brought the best out in them. Both my 2 and 3-year-old boys attend this nursery, so I currently have 1 in the toddler room and one in the pre-centre room. It’s a delightful little nursery, in a pleasant convenient location with team who genuinely adore what they do.

Woodlands Day Nursery has been a fantastic nursery for our daughter. She is extremely content at Woodlands, and that is a testament to the fantastic development setting you have created and the caregiving, attention and assistance of the caregiving workers at Woodlands. She has flourished academically, showing a real promise with reading, refining time motor abilities and making a fantastic group of friends. Thank you!

We are so content with the level of caregiving and assistance the team has shown to our son. We have moved a lot over the past year so we’ve had quite a disruptive start but my son’s key worker has been amazingly nurturing and supportive to help settle him in. He is now extremely close to the team members and talks about them all the time. I know he has a remarkable time every day and loves the enjoyable and varied activities that are planned every day. He loves every minute of his time at nursery. Thank you for all you do and the adore you give to my boy. As a parent, I enjoy the updates on the app, which always cheer me up at work whilst giving me confidence that my son is thriving at nursery.
