September 15, 2024 at 4:35 amHe adores beach school. And forest school. It’s a wonderful nursery setting and we feel lucky and privileged that our boy is there. We know he looks forward to going. Our boy is a delighted, healthy and kind individual with a beautiful personality and the nursery setting has unquestionably made an important and lasting contribution to that. And the kitchen at the early‑years hub is a blessing meaning he gets freshly cooked food each day. The crew are kind, attentive and professional and clearly support greatly for each little one. Our young lad has been at Woodland House Nursery since he was 3 months old.

October 17, 2024 at 12:58 amWoodland House Nursery is fantastic and I would strongly suggest it to anyone. The crew are great with him and are all extremely welcoming. He settled in immediately and I am extremely impressed with the activities and food that are provided for him. My 8.5-month old boy adores it there and has been in the ‘bunnies’ room since he was 6 months.

November 21, 2024 at 3:50 amWe consider ourselves truly fortunate to have discovered this newly opened childcare centre when we were looking for a place for my young lad all those years ago. They manage conflict between the little ones well and encourage kids to think things through and work out the right resolution. A lot of thought goes into the activities and the displays. I knew it was the right place straight away! A nod also to the kitchen who produce a wonderful variety of fresh and healthy meals. The team seem to really genuinely attention about the little ones and go the extra mile to make the children’s journey fun and varied. Their approach is calm, fair and nurturing.

January 29, 2025 at 5:23 pmThe team are kind, attentive and engaged and at all stages, I feel our girl has developed and learnt whilst having fun. She clearly enjoys the time she spends at early‑years hub and this, combined with the caring attitude of the personnel, has made it extremely easy for me to return to work that I value, knowing that our little one is benefitting at the same time. Our three-year-old little one has been at Woodland House 4 days a week since she was 9 months old and I have no hesitation in recommending the early‑years hub to anyone who will listen!

January 31, 2025 at 6:59 amOur girl has went to Woodland House for 1.5 years and we are so delighted with the attention they provide. They have lots of great regular activities and opportunities for ‘messy’/craft/creative playtime. She learns so much there and team have helped us to be aware of the next stages of her exploring. She enjoys the home cooked food and gets a great variety of meals. The crew are wonderful with the youngsters and our little one treasures it there! She bonded well with them and settled in quickly.

February 5, 2025 at 7:59 pmShe started at almost 2 years old but the team has been extremely patient and incredible with her – and particularly because she speaks only French at home. She is absorbing so much and we feel completely assured. Thank you, Woodland House Nursery! Our little girl has been going since previous September.

February 28, 2025 at 8:54 amThe personnel are imaginative and do an fantastic job on quite a small site. There is always a good combination of trying and exploring new things and meeting an individual child’s needs. We have two kids at the childcare centre and are extremely pleased with the care they receive.

March 7, 2025 at 2:18 pmWhat first drew me to the early‑years hub was just how delighted all of the kids were and now after two years, I can see why. Woodland has just been awarded an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ and this is really well deserved. The crew are absolutely brilliant, some really lovely characters with great enthusiasm and ideas for the kids, and crew turnover is extremely low. I couldn’t be happier with the level of care and attention that my little one gets here. The extras the childcare centre offers are really great too, with weekly music classes, yoga and beach school. Woodland House Nursery is a really fantastic early‑years hub.

May 8, 2025 at 9:36 amAll my kids have been extremely delighted – with each exceptionally individual needs and quirks met to the highest standard. They, in turn, are well supported by their management team. My third little one has followed her siblings in attending Woodland House from 9 months to school. They truly seem to be a exceptionally pleased, positive team. The crew are well trained and supported taking great pride in their work. Love the food cooked on site, the activities – my youngster treasures everything messy, the key workers, Beach school, the tortoise and playing outside.

May 26, 2025 at 10:41 pmThey have just got a extremely well deserved Ofsted first‑rate. My son’s reception educator paid a recent settling-in visit and said it was the best early‑years hub she had ever been to. It’s like a home from home and we are unhappy to be leaving (for school). My young lad has been at Woodland House for over three years and I cannot endorse strongly enough, the team are caring, motivated and inspiring.

June 11, 2025 at 12:58 pmI have found the crew extremely welcoming, accommodating and encouraging. However busy they are, they always make the time to give a full handover at the end of the day and ask any questions we have. I would enthusiastically endorse this nursery setting to any parent. Our young lady has been at the nursery setting for almost a year now and she is exceptionally pleased there.

June 13, 2025 at 8:04 pmIt is great for me – I know she is well cared for and can get on with my day job. The personnel are super welcoming and the whole atmosphere feels exceptionally positive. My little one really enjoys going to Woodland House Nursery. When I come to collect her in the afternoon, I get a detailed report (written as well as verbal) of how the day has been which I really like.

June 14, 2025 at 9:51 amThe crew here are incredible, always welcoming and obviously brilliant with the little ones. My girl enjoys every single day she is in childcare centre. Not much to add on top of my across the board “excellent” scores.

June 15, 2025 at 8:24 amLots of attention is given to the individual little one, as well as to forming friendships with other kids and socialising in a group. This early‑years hub goes the extra mile. The approach to little one advancement is holistic and creative, with plenty of messy playtime, craft and time spent outdoors. My little one has a wonderful time at Woodland House Nursery. There are lots of extra activities – music, gym, outings, family gatherings. The personnel are gentle, caring and strongly knowledgeable. I couldn’t endorse it more wholeheartedly.

June 16, 2025 at 9:34 amShe has made plenty of friends with kids and crew. The regular feedback and record of her headway is brilliant. Woodland provided fantastic early years attention for our 2 eldest daughters, preparing them well for school, building confidence and social competences. Her language and comprehension has come on leaps and bounds in the nursery’s stimulating environment. Our youngest is currently at the early‑years hub and is thoroughly enjoying it. All credit to the crew for their excellent and thoughtful hard work, which allows myself and my husband to go to work assured in the knowledge that our young lady is receiving high-quality support.

June 18, 2025 at 8:05 pmWe’re exceptionally glad we chose this early‑years hub and would enthusiastically endorse it. I’m looking forward to my little one moving up to wise owls when he can start going to forest and beach schools. The separate rooms make the space exceptionally intimate. Staff are so welcoming and professional and are extremely forward-thinking in terms of diversity and inclusivity. My little one enjoys his early‑years hub and has had a wonderful time there. He has a genuine bond with his keyworker and has made some good friendships.

June 30, 2025 at 12:06 pmWoodland House is brilliant, I can safely say it is such a relief knowing that while I am at work my youngster is in such great support. They offer such a wonderful range of things for the kids, beach school and art field are definitely huge hits.

July 7, 2025 at 5:26 pmMy little one has been attending the nursery setting since he was 8 months old and has today “graduated” to Primary School. The early‑years hub has been exceptional throughout the years and has recently been named as an first‑rate early‑years hub by OFSTED. The main difference between Woodland House and other nurseries is the level of personnel engagement. I am grateful that my young lad leaves their attention as a thrilled and confident little boy, who adores exploring and is well prepared for the next step. I believe that this creativity and desire is driven by their treasure for the kids and the realisation that, what they do every day, will help to shape these little people into the best big people they can possibly become. The Head Teacher has engendered a culture of genuine caring which ripples through the staff’s relationships with the kids, parents and colleagues. As a team, they strive to continuously improve, which leads to fresh ways of delivering the syllabus, continuously challenging and stimulating the little ones.
