Wolverton Day Nursery & Preschool

Secure arrival and departure procedure. Pleasant staff, caring and aware of health and safety. Good facilities for all children. Fun and encouraging PE teacher – all children followed his instruction which tells me they were enjoying the session. Kids seemed happy and free to choose what they wanted to do.

My daughter always comes out of nursery happy. She has made some lovely new friends, which she doesn’t stop talking about. The staff are friendly and keep me informed of any accidents. My daughter enjoys all the activities held by kids play. The only thing I would suggest is having the children’s diaries again as you are aware of what your child has been doing etc.

My daughter only started a few months before lockdown and immediately settled. She is always really excited to attend and never wants to come home when I pick her up. I love hearing all about her day and seeing all the lovely activities she gets to experience. Every day brings a new adventure. Lots of messy/creative play, forest schools and most importantly for us, outdoor play. They enjoy snack/tea al fresco when the weather is nice. She eats such a wide range of foods at nursery, things we would t necessarily cook at home. I enjoy having our feedback when our daughter has been the focus and reading all the observations. The staff are always smiling and happy to help. Even when we have had challenging times, the advice from them has helped, and all staff are happy to work with us.

Wolverton Day Nursery is brilliant – the staff are always so lovely and approachable. They always have smiles on their faces. The facilities are very good and well looked after/clean due to covid. My daughter has become so clever since joining nursery, every time she goes she learns something new. Amazing, definitely 10/10.

I have two children that go to Wolverton, one now in preschool and 1 at the nursery. This is a lovely setting and my children love it there and all the staff. They have provided excellent care for my children and daily feedback is given which I really appreciate and they go above and beyond every session. The fact that my children say ‘yay nursery today’ and run straight into their keyworkers and friends say it all. I am so glad my children are now at a nursery that they adore.

As a first-time mum heading back to work I wondered if I was doing the right thing sending my 7-month-old to nursery full-time. I shouldn’t have worried, the care and attention she received were excellent. The whole team is warm and friendly, they truly care about each child, supporting their development and individual needs. They are led by a management team that have high standards and are clearly keeping up with the latest developments and coping with the additional challenges that Covid has brought. My little one is flourishing, she is meeting her milestones and is being encouraged to develop her interests, personality and independence all while having fun. She loves going to nursery and, when I drop her off, will reach out to her keyworker and other staff members with no concern for me leaving. The children are obviously benefiting from it being a relatively small setting. There is brilliant communication between the staff and parents. I can’t thank the team enough!

I cannot possibly begin to describe the positive effect this nursery has had on my daughter. Their support and care has nurtured all of her best qualities and helped her develop in all areas. Speech, sharing, communication, interaction, play, forming bonds and friendship have all improved wildly since she has been going here. All staff members are caring, approachable and helpful. As a child raised during Covid, my daughter was apprehensive about going to nursery and had really struggled being with anyone other than me or my wife and she cried uncontrollably when we left her at nursery. Within a week she was eager to come, rushing us out of the house so she could get to nursery as soon as possible. We are considering a move from the immediate area but we will absolutely continue to use Wolverton Day Nursery as we couldn’t imagine sending her anywhere else.

I cannot thank all of the wonderful staff enough. I was so nervous about my little one starting nursery but I can see he is genuinely cared about and loved. My eight-month-old loves nursery and I am so confident in his care. All staff are welcoming and friendly and it really does feel like he is with family. They got to know him so quickly and provide wonderful play opportunities.

We are very pleased with the care our son receives at this nursery. He comes home happy and sometimes doesn’t want to leave the nursery. He gained good development since we enrolled him. He is more sociable and loves his colleagues and nursery staff.
The only unpleasant situation we have was a misunstanding for which we had to follow up with the senior management when we felt we were rushed and the person in contact did not pay attention at our questions.
Apart from that, we are very happy with the nursery and happy our son gets such a good care.

My daughter attends the baby room full-time and has made some amazing connections with the staff. Her development has come so far. I really love how happy she is here.
