I know my child is in safe hands from the moment I drop her to nursery. Staff have developed such strong bonds with all the children; the children feel happy and safe at all times.
The nursery has a great Montessori teaching system, my daughter loves to learn through play and the close interaction with the teachers and other children.

If like me you were looking for a clean, safe environment with small classes and consistent, experienced staff then there is no other nursery I would recommend.

A rather dreary and depressing setting for young children. They do not thrive here in this nursery at all. Very few toys and little ‘fun’ for them. The carers do not nurture or bring out the best in the children and the amount of staff turnover is enough to show how unfortunate this nursery is.
Where children should be uplifted and made to feel safe, they are silenced and come out rather timid and quiet.
I would not recommend this nursery to anyone.

The Windsor Montessori House of Children was recommended to us by a neighbour, as we were new to the area. I cannot express how thankful we are that the recommendation was made. Not only does Windsor Montessori House of Children practice true Montessori teachings, the staff are so kind and it feels like a home away from home. I visited a number of other daycare/nursery settings and safe to say I felt the connection to the school immediately. The team’s warmth, dedication and commitment truly shines through and they make every effort to ensure each child is treated as an individual as well as take the time to get to know the children and parents. I drop my daughter every day and know she will have a good day and is happy. Thank you for all the team does. We are so grateful.

Caring and nurturing environment with a positive attitude towards children’s physical and mental well-being.
Staff are well trained and have a positive attitude towards children’s well-being.
Very happy with staff, environment and facilities in the nursery.

I need to begin this review with the caveat that I work in education. I have exceptionally high standards for the care and education of my children. I recognise the importance of the formative years of education, where children go through rapid development and this needs to be nurtured. With this in mind, I was looking for a nursery which would foster a love of learning and play, independence, thinking skills and social and emotional awareness. Windsor Montessori House of Children does exactly this. I was thrilled to discover the same manager was still running a Montessori having attended her school myself (I won’t write how many years ago…) My eldest was born before lockdown and settling in was difficult but the staff at House of Children couldn’t have been kinder and more understanding. I was so grateful my child was able to build meaningful attachments with the warm and friendly staff who go above and beyond to nurture the children. My child loves attending, her younger sister will be joining in the new year and I am so grateful.

Firstly my eldest and now my youngest child attends the Windsor Montessori House of Children. Having known the setting and the staff for the past eight years I do not have the words to express how wonderful the staff, their care, dedication, nurturing and love towards my children during their care has been. Never have I felt worried about leaving my children under the care of the staff, who have many years of experience and are a stable close-knit team, providing the security parents and children need. In addition to this, the small class sizes mean more focus, attention and care is given to the children.
With their true authentic Montessori teachings and ethos, my eldest child was equipped with independence, knowledge and the foundations that provided her with much self-confidence and a head start in a conventional school environment. All round in what the team does, I cannot recommend this wonderful nursery enough.
