Willows Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

We had our daughter for a couple of months at this nursery for two days a week but decided it was not the place for her. We did have some posts but for the most part, they were published with massive delay (I would get a couple of posts in one day with what happened 3 weeks ago, two weeks ago, etc) and there was little variety in terms of activities (although there is a lot available in the room) The monthly development stories were as well posted with a long delay, and included mostly excuses such as “not yet settled in”, “was on holiday”, “English is her second language” etc and sometimes didn’t even have a development story at all. Some of the team are extremely approachable and dedicated so I guess the experience can vary depending on who is the youngster’s key person, but I believe there is room for improvement for some of the team when it comes to updates with parents, observing the youngster’s behaviour and reporting, as there is a platform available that can help even more updates with parents.

Incredible! Can’t truly think of a negative point about the nursery. He has come so far in his growth as a human being! Team are nurturing, supportive, enthusiastic and passionate about what they do every day with the kids. I would highly highly recommend and I am grateful for everything. My son has attended Willows since 2018 at 6 months old and will now move to centre.

I am so content with the nursery and feel 100% confident in their abilities and in knowing my youngster is secure in their caregiving. The team are all extremely approachable and loving towards the kids and you can tell they truly caregiving about them! My youngster has come on in leaps and bounds in all aspects- movement, eating, social abilities etc. The food is well balanced and varied and there are a wide range of activities that I’ve seen my youngster participate in! he is so content there and always content to see the team!

Our daughter has been going to Willows for 3 months and has settled extremely well, The team are approachable and professional. Out daughter loves going to nursery, she eats and sleeps well there. Her speech has improved greatly since going to Willos and she is more inquisitive and interested in playing with other kids. We feel confident our daughter is being well cared for and would highly recommend Willos to any parent.

I would such as to say thank you to two members of team in particular. The team is outstanding, careful and patient! They are always mentioned by another member of team when she is not present in the nursery. I truly appreciate the help and assistance given.

They look forward to it every morning. Both our girls are at Willows Day Nursery and they absolutely adore it. We as parents are extremely pleased that our kids are so well looked after and cared for and they feel that they belong to one big Willows family. They adore going to nursery and are truly content there. Willows team work so hard to ensure that they are content and contented while encouraging lots of enjoyable development counting, reading, life abilities and social abilities.

Throughout our 8 years, we have seen the nursery go from strength to strength, the way they handled Covid and the lockdowns was commendable, it is a warm‑hearted, content place where the kids are adored, respected and have a lot of enjoyable. Willows kids are content, confident and most of all adored. My two kids have thrived at Willows Day Nursery (Aylesbury) and it’s been extremely emotional saying goodbye as our youngest has just left for Primary Centre. We couldn’t have asked for more. The new Forest Centre has been an outstanding addition and was the highlight of my daughter’s week, come rain or shine! We didn’t send our kids to Willows to push their early years education but they both came away with a wide knowledge of a variety of topics, extremely much ready to start centre. The things my daughter has learnt during her time, particularly in the Pre-Centre room, are impressive (from basic woodwork and languages to naming the planets and continents).

Willows Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery, both my kids attend the nursery and adore coming. Team are always inviting and are extremely excellent at keeping us up to date with what our kids are doing. The kids do a wide variety of activities and have excellent relationships with their key workers.

Willows is such as family. Our youngest starts here in a few weeks and we couldn’t be happier about our choice of childcare setting. Our eldest has been here for 2 years and loves it. The team are fantastic – approachable, supportive and knowledgeable.

Positivity is so important for kids with SEN needs. Also in particular one of the nursery practitioners who is always so positive about our youngster. He struggles more than some kids the same age in certain areas but Willows have been incredible in adapting to his needs and allowing him to still be included in the preschool group. Thank you, Willows. Special mention should go to his keyworker who has been brilliant in finding ways to help his integration and genuinely cares about him. Willows Day Nursery has been fantastic for the growth and growth of our youngest youngster.
