March 1, 2019 at 12:00 amThe nursery associated with this school have recently been expanded has matured. The caring ethos of the school has been replicated with the younger ones.
Recently staff changes have been a little concerning but things have settled down and the recent appointments appear to be good.

March 4, 2019 at 12:00 amOur experience with Westbury House School has been incredible. We have been so lucky to have had such caring and devoted teachers educating and taking care of our daughter. She started as a scared and shy child and within less than a year, she has become confident and so comfortable with everyone at school. The level of education is extremely high. The children are so happy and it really feels like a home to us. What a lovely school.

September 23, 2019 at 12:00 amWe were amazed by the development our daughter made within a short period at Westbury House Nursery. It provides a safe and caring environment and the opening times are ideal for working parents. The staff members are very friendly and competent.
The academic standards and extracurricular activities are good. Nursery children are taught phonics, writing and introduced to mathematics. They also have weekly tennis and swimming lesson. The pre-school also focuses a lot on developing literature skills by exposing the children to a variety of books and stories.
Our daughter has developed into a confident little girl with excellent manners, independent skills and academic standard.

February 12, 2020 at 12:00 amMy little boy started in the nursery in January 2019. The nursery manager tired her best to help him settle in fast. My boy started very timid and very unsure about the new environment. All teachers there and the nursery manager have always been encouraging and supportive. Within a few months this little boy really came out like a flower blossoming. He talks very well and confidently and actively participates in all the nursery activities. He has made a lot of friends quickly. In September 2019 he moved up to Nursery 2 (the Pre-school group) and again I was so impressed with the day to day teaching and caring from the Nursery 2 teacher. The Nursery 2 teacher systematically teaches the children phonics and maths. His progress has been marvellous. Every week there are swimming lesson, Teddy Tennis lesson and Gym lesson. There are also activities such as forest school, local library visit etc. Those really help the children develop well not only academically but also physically!

November 12, 2021 at 12:00 amI’ve had both my kids at Westbury since 2018. The nursery’s structured, intimate setup really suited our values. The staffing unit takes on feedback constructively and follow up well. I’d highly recommend Westbury.

They offer lots of extra curriculum including tennis and ballet. The communication is also fantastic. Very happy with Westbury and would not hesitate to recommend it.

The school have catered brilliantly in providing great food for my son who has allergies. Staff are attentive and go the extra mile. It feels very much like a home from home.

The extra-curricular activities are fantastic, such as gymnastics, tennis and cooking. Highly recommend.

July 17, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Westbury House Nursery since January 2022. She had a very structured settling process. She has settled in the nursery very well. Her speech and social skills have immensely improved since attending nursery. I think it is one of the best decisions of my life. The teachers just know exactly how to promote independence. They have a very loving and caring approach towards the children. I appreciate all that they do to create skilled little humans.

What stands out is that the nursery is structured within an excellent school, so the children learn and enjoy themselves within an environment that excels in preparatory education. I absolutely recommend Westbury House Nursery. The staff are exceptional.

July 19, 2022 at 12:00 amOur little one started at Westbury House Nursery earlier this year and we can see his improvement in all aspects. All the staff, particularly the manager, are absolutely lovely to work with and always have a “can-do” attitude. One of the requests I asked her and her team to help me with is potty training. Unlike our previous nursery which said that we needed to do it on our own in the first month, the manager immediately said it is not a problem at all to kickstart from them. Still a work in progress but I can’t thank them enough for this as well as for nourishing my little one in all aspects of development. I especially love their different classes e.g. cooking, dancing etc. Thank you so much, Westbury!

July 22, 2022 at 12:00 amWestbury nursery is wonderful, my little one has been part of it for a year and a half and has shown good progression and development. He settled into his class quickly and loves it there. All the staff are very friendly and caring. In addition, there is a lovely chef who cooks the childrens’ food on site and provides snack time and tea time food. My little one also enjoys taking part in dance class, particularly the multi-sports activities and gymnastics. Thank you so much for looking after our children well.

The staff led by the nursery manager is highly committed and genuinely cares for the children. It’s a thriving partnership between the teachers and the parents. He is speaking a lot and his imagination is extraordinary. The stimulation he gets there is good. I can’t wait for my daughter to join him there.

They learn in a school-based setting with a mix of focused and free-flow activities. The communication between staff and parents is outstanding. We have seen our child make reams of progress across all areas of learning. We cannot wait to enrol our youngest when they turn two.
