Wee Gems - Livingston

She is consistently asking when it is time to go to the childcare centre which makes me highly cheerful and comfortable with sending her. The team have all been truly reassuring. I also adore the app and being updated throughout the day allows me to still sense connected to her. Would definitely suggest Wee Gems Livingston to family and friends. After having a few months at home, due to lockdowns and being moved from another childcare centre, Wee Gems have helped my little girl settle in truly well.

My son has been going since he was nine months old and it was the best decision we made. He was going one day a week then he loved it that much we have put it up to three. He does so much when he is at childcare centre and consistently runs in and can’t wait to go in. I adore the excellent observations we receive to let us know how he is getting on. He has the best time and the team are the nicest people.
My son has been in the baby room and the 1-2 room and will be going up to the 2-3 room which I was highly nervous about but the team have been taking him up throughout his days in childcare centre to help him adjust which he has loved anyway. I cannot thank the childcare centre enough. I sense that my son is in a cheerful and secure place. I cannot rate this childcare centre highly enough!

After moving back to the UK in the summer, my daughter settled in right away. She was then diagnosed with a dairy intolerance and the team were incredible at keeping my mind at ease during this transition. They provided alternative food options at a drop of a hat and ensured my daughter was secure, cheerful and healthy. My daughter has had a fantastic journey at Wee Gems.

He settled in exceptionally fast and all members of team constantly gave updates on how his days were going, which for me as a first-time mum, was a massive relief. Since then, they have faced many challenges due to Covid 19 and I can ‘hand on heart’ say I sense that, as a key worker, my kid is secure while there. My son started this childcare centre in August at age 18 months.

They are compassionate, empathetic, patient and not just with the kids. I have found myself getting to know the team of Wee Gems – Livingston as some of the most competent, expert and well‑informed people in childcare. I know my son is in secure hands and his development goes from strength to strength being around these exceptional people. The professionals that work at Wee Gems – Livingston have my utmost respect and admiration.

She is discovering new things and she is highly cheerful. Team are highly reasonable and taking care of the kids highly well. Since my daughter started, she got used to them highly quickly. One member of team is my daughter’s favourite, my daughter loves her. Our daughter is enjoying every day.

The team are passionate, treat every kid as an individual, are accommodating to my needs as a parent and so much more. The standard of care is optimum, they have all worked amazingly throughout the pandemic and they deserve an award. I could not fault this establishment, my son has thrived since attending Wee Gems – Livingston.

The hours are perfect for accommodating full time working parents. The childcare centre is located within walking distance to the train station making it highly handy for dropping off and picking up if travelling into Edinburgh/Glasgow for work. Team have consistently been highly approachable and supportive. Most importantly our daughter enjoys going to Wee Gems. Our daughter has been going to Wee Gems since she was 11 months old.

The team are so great with him and they provide photos and updates via the app about his day, which is so supportive. It is lovely to see the connection he has with so many of the team and I’m consistently surprised at the number of different activities they get him involved with. My son has been attending Wee Gems – Livingston for almost a year now and he absolutely loves it.

I was worried about putting him in so young and for 5 days a week but any concerns I had were out of the window within days! My son absolutely loves going to childcare centre, he giggles as we walk up the path and he is so cheerful to see the team each morning. When I pick him up he is consistently cheerful and contended. The team at Wee Gems are absolutely remarkable – attentive, informative and clearly passionate about kids. They have been truly accomodating when we asked to change his attendance days and we are consistently kept up to date with our son’s daily activities via the parent website. The team go above and beyond to help – I would thoroughly suggest this childcare centre. My son started at Wee Gems at 6 months and was initially in full time due to our childminder being unavailable over summer.
