Wee Gems - Broxburn

I felt anxious about returning to work/ our daughter joining childcare centre as my maternity leave had come to an end. However, the team quickly put my mind at ease and I immediately had a great feeling about the childcare centre. I adore the parent zone link- I adore I can check how she is getting on/ what she’s eaten/ how long she’s napped and viewing any pics. The team have provided great advice regarding our daughter settling in and have been welcoming and informative. Our daughter has recently joined Wee Gems and is now 10 months old.

He enjoys going to childcare centre and I am confident leaving him there. The team are welcoming, approachable, supportive and seem to have a excellent bond with the kids in their care. This has been a difficult year for many settings and I cannot thank every team member enough for doing all they can, especially with the ever changing policies and guidelines, to keep my baby healthy and cheerful. We have only had our son at this childcare centre for a short time but we are so pleased with how well he has settled in.

Every team member we have spoken to knows our daughter by name and they all take the time to chat with us about how well she gets on each day. The manager of the baby room also takes the time to provide detailed reports every so often describing how well our daughter is progressing. We can tell they truly do care about their job. Our 15-month-old daughter is almost jumping out of our arms to get into the childcare centre as we drop her off in the mornings, which we are delighted to see as it clearly shows how much she enjoys it and it makes us sense at ease as this is our first kid so have never had to do this before.

She’s now three and a half years old. She absolutely loves her time at the childcare centre. The team are consistently welcoming, expert and approachable. The manager and her team have dealt with the Covid-19 situation highly efficiently and have kept us informed every step of the way. Exceptional childcare centre, we highly suggest them. Our daughter has been going to Wee Gems – Broxburn since she was six months old.

He is consistently talking about the different activities he has taken part in and what he has been discovering/ talking about with the ‘educators’. The team are exceptional and my little boy adores the team in his room. There is a excellent menu with a big variety of different meals and snacks. My son is in the preschool room at Wee Gems and loves the childcare centre.

All the team are highly intensive and you can consistently rely on them to be there if you need them. Here’s to many more years at Wee Gems and keep up the great work. Since the start, Wee Gems have made my son so welcome and he has made so much development in under a year – he has come on leaps and bounds.

As a parent, I delight in the regular updates provided by the team about the general activities of the kids and the regular development updates too. My kids are consistently welcomed by name when they arrive in the morning and the handover updates in the evening are clear and detailed which gives me a sense of a attentive setting. Thank you, Wee Gems Broxburn. The team at Wee Gems are remarkable as they provide a secure setting for our kids.

But my worries were unfounded. The team are outstanding in all aspects of the job, and in every area. care, playtime, teaching, kitchen etc.
All this has made my kid the fantastic character he has turned out to be, open-minded, intelligent and inquisitive and attentive. Equipped with all the tools needed to go on and begin school. I can’t thank Wee Gems of Broxburn enough, and wouldn’t hesitate to suggest them to other parents. Once again a big “thank you Wee Gems”. Being a first time (older) parent, I was apprehensive at first about putting my kid into all daycare, (for almost four and a half years).

It is slightly bigger than I would like so I don’t consistently know every team member but the team are consistently highly welcoming and are cheerful to talk to you about any issues you might have. They take the kids out on walks to the forest and my son spends much of his day outside, which he loves. I think the facilities seem great and their Covid-19 measures are apparent. He seems to be given plenty to do, with number and letter games and he consistently comes out with a smile on his face, saying he has had a great time. Have no concerns about this venue for my kid. My son attends Wee Gems – Broxburn and he seems to truly delight in it.

It was so nice to see that my eighteen month old happily walked in after just a few weeks. My daughter’s talking and reacting to instructions is evident at how much she is discovering from Wee Gems – Broxburn. The manager is exceptionally hands on and has been on hand for any questions. Such a excellent team that in unprecedented times have managed to maintain a normal world for our little one, thank you so much ladies. An incredible bunch of girls that made my daughter sense right at home straight away.
