May 24, 2019 at 12:00 amOur daughter has recently joined Wee Gems and is now 10 months old. I felt anxious about returning to work/ our daughter joining nursery as my maternity leave had come to an end. However, the staff quickly put my mind at ease and I immediately had a good feeling about the nursery. I love the parent zone link- I love I can check how she is getting on/ what she’s eaten/ how long she’s napped and viewing any pics. The staff have provided good advice regarding our daughter settling in and have been friendly and informative.

May 31, 2019 at 12:00 amI am very happy with the nursery as they are very accommodating. I need flexible days for my child and I only need to give one month notice. My daughter seems to be happy there. All the staff have been very nice and helpful.

September 5, 2019 at 12:00 amBeing a first time (older) parent, I was apprehensive at first about putting my child into all daycare, (for almost four and a half years). But my worries were unfounded. The staff are excellent in all aspects of the job, and in every area. care, play, teaching, kitchen etc.
All this has made my child the wonderful character he has turned out to be, open-minded, intelligent and inquisitive and caring. Equipped with all the tools needed to go on and begin school. I can’t thank Wee Gems of Broxburn enough, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other parents. Once again a big “thank you Wee Gems”.

January 28, 2021 at 12:00 amSince the start, Wee Gems have made my son so welcome and he has made so much progress in under a year – he has come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are very intensive and you can always rely on them to be there if you need them. Here’s to many more years at Wee Gems and keep up the good work.

January 28, 2021 at 12:00 amMy child loves going to this nursery. They always have fun activities for the children to do. The nursery is always clean and organised and the staff are very friendly. They provide a good variety of meals for snacks and lunches. Whenever we’ve had to change days/hours they are always very accommodating.

January 28, 2021 at 12:00 amThe nursery are amazing. All the team have been so accommodating of any changes and have made the current lockdown less stressful with the care they provide for my son. My son is very clingy and doesn’t like being away from me, yet every morning they put both of us at ease with their welcoming approach and constantly remind me that he settles as soon as I leave. I couldn’t be more thankful that my son is in safe hands and learning in a great environment.

He is always talking about the different activities he has taken part in and what he has been learning/ talking about with the ‘teachers’. The staff are brilliant and my little boy adores the staff in his room. There is a great menu with a big variety of different meals and snacks.

May 4, 2021 at 12:00 amAn amazing bunch of girls that made my daughter feel right at home straight away. It was so nice to see that my eighteen month old happily walked in after just a few weeks. My daughter’s talking and reacting to instructions is evident at how much she is learning from Wee Gems – Broxburn. The manager is extremely hands on and has been on hand for any questions. Such a great team that in unprecedented times have managed to maintain a normal world for our little one, thank you so much ladies.

The mornings I say yes she leaps out of bed! Thank you for everything you’ve done during Covid-19 and the lengths you’ve gone to to keep the children and parents safe. Thank you again.

May 4, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son attends Wee Gems – Broxburn and he seems to really enjoy it. It is slightly bigger than I would like so I don’t always know every staff member but the staff are always very friendly and are happy to talk to you about any issues you might have. They take the children out on walks to the forest and my son spends much of his day outside, which he loves. I think the facilities seem good and their Covid-19 measures are apparent. He seems to be given plenty to do, with number and letter games and he always comes out with a smile on his face, saying he has had a good time. Have no concerns about this venue for my child.

The staff are always friendly, professional and approachable. The manager and her team have dealt with the Covid-19 situation very efficiently and have kept us informed every step of the way. Brilliant nursery, we highly recommend them.

May 4, 2021 at 12:00 amWe have only had our son at this nursery for a short time but we are so pleased with how well he has settled in. He enjoys going to nursery and I am confident leaving him there. The staff are friendly, approachable, helpful and seem to have a great bond with the children in their care. This has been a difficult year for many settings and I cannot thank every staff member enough for doing all they can, especially with the ever changing policies and guidelines, to keep my baby healthy and happy.

May 4, 2021 at 12:00 amAlways super helpful. Always lots for the kids to do. Extra activities like sports classes and music classes. Trips to the forest. My wee one loves the water and the sand. Really good outside space. They are outside as much as possible.

February 24, 2022 at 12:00 amOur 15-month-old daughter is almost jumping out of our arms to get into the nursery as we drop her off in the mornings, which we are delighted to see as it clearly shows how much she enjoys it and it makes us feel at ease as this is our first child so have never had to do this before. Every staff member we have spoken to knows our daughter by name and they all take the time to chat with us about how well she gets on each day. The manager of the baby room also takes the time to provide detailed reports every so often describing how well our daughter is progressing. We can tell they really do care about their job.

As a parent, I enjoy the regular updates provided by the staff about the general activities of the children and the regular development updates too. My children are always welcomed by name when they arrive in the morning and the handover updates in the evening are clear and detailed which gives me a sense of a caring environment.
