November 12, 2024 at 6:21 pmDiscovering is shared through an online journal and the discovering shared shows how the team are extremely attentive to my son’s needs and have taken extra special time to get to know my son’s needs and interests. His discovering and development is encouraged naturally through his interests. It’s clear to see how the team and my son delight in their time together at childcare centre.
The activities on offer are consistently new and exciting and keep my active little boy captivated and the free flow access to the garden provides an outstanding level of playtime.
The team provide such a loving, stimulating and emotionally secure setting for my little boy to grow. The setting provides home from home care with management also having a well‑informed relationship with my son.
After viewing most nurseries in Torquay, Watcombe Kids’s Childcare centre was without a doubt the only childcare centre I felt comfortable with my son attending. Thank you! The inviting, attentive and welcoming team have made my son’s transition to childcare centre very smooth and reassuring.

The childcare centre has a very outdoorsy approach to its care, which is why we initially choose this childcare centre. He also takes part in the yoga and forest school sessions provided which he thoroughly enjoys. All the childcare centre team are inviting and welcoming and have made the transition from being at home to going to childcare centre very easy. My son looks forward to going to ‘his school’. I would highly suggest Watcombe Kids’s Centre Childcare centre. My son joined in September last year with delayed speaking.

November 21, 2024 at 7:44 amRight from the start, the team went out of their way to make him sense welcomed and comfortable as well as giving me all the updates I needed to sense reassured! Since then he can’t wait to go in, loves all the activities, toys and garden! He’s learnt so many songs and dances and loves all the messy playtime too. The team are all incredible and he has a excellent relationship with all of them, even the ones not in his room all know his name and spend time talking to him. Could not suggest this childcare centre enough. Best choice I ever made! My son started here at 9-months-old and absolutely loves it.

December 17, 2024 at 6:56 pmThey have so much enjoyable accessing exciting activities and spending lots of time out in the garden, which is such an incredible space.
Every member of team is consistently welcoming and welcoming and you can see that they really delight in being there. I sense incredibly lucky that my kids are able to come to the childcare centre and receive such a high level of care.
I would highly suggest this setting to anyone looking for a childcare centre. Both my sons attend Watcombe Kids’s Centre Childcare centre and I could not speak highly enough of the provision and the care which they receive.
They have both consistently started and finished the day with a smile on their faces.

All the team are attentive and so attentive for all the kids. Nothing is ever too much.
The outdoor space for the kids to run around in is incredible also with so much to do outside.
I would really suggest this childcare centre to anyone. Both my kids have attended this childcare centre.

January 17, 2025 at 4:30 amThe online journal is excellent, the team uploads photos and a brief summary of your kid’s day so every day you can log on and see what they have been up to, for me this is the best thing I adore seeing and hearing what she has been up to.
If there is a problem or your kid becomes unwell they are quick to call and keep the kid comfortable while you make your way to collect them. Couldn’t fault. Very cheerful and it makes it so much easier sending my daughter knowing she loves it and is having an incredible time. Perfect childcare centre for my daughter, she settled in so quickly and looks forward to going she gets very excited.
All team are welcoming.

January 18, 2025 at 12:33 amI have been constantly impressed in terms of the variety of playtime and activities as well as with the quality and friendliness of team. My kids adore going to childcare centre and are excited every day waiting outside to get in! The food variety is outstanding and 7.30 am starts are excellent for working parents.
It is a remarkable discovering setting with dedicated childcare centre team. I would absolutely suggest it to any parent. My kids have absolutely thrived at this childcare centre.

It’s all so well organised and my little girl consistently comes out spotless and cheerful too! I adore that they update you with everything that goes on during the day and I get lots of photos to see my little babe when I’m at work. I only wish I found you guys sooner! In adore! I am absolutely over the moon with Watcombe!

They use an online journal as a parent link, which works excellent – consistently knowing what he has eaten etc. My kid has a remarkable time at childcare centre and consistently comes home telling me stories of what he has done that day.

February 9, 2025 at 12:37 amThe outside space is exceptional, but they offer lots of different activities to occupy the kids inside and out, even trips to the local park sometimes! They provide lots of information and photos about my son’s days at childcare centre and the updates from all the team and management with the parents is consistently outstanding. Would definitely suggest it. This is such a lovely, welcoming childcare centre, my son has been attending since he was 8-months-old and he loves the team and all the friends he has made.

The management team are really on their game and the childcare centre team are just incredible. I really can’t suggest them enough. If you are a new parent confused about where to put your kid, look no further, you’ve found your childcare centre. My son has been at this childcare centre since he was 18 months and he is almost 4 now.

My kid hasn’t had a excellent month with illness but the care my kid receives is incredible. Couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre for my kid, she joined before she was 1 and I couldn’t be happier.

The childcare centre offers a remarkable range of activities for the kids including a forest school session which my eldest son loves. I consistently sense well informed about their day and the team are so lovely. I have two sons at the childcare centre and they have both enjoyed it so much.

May 28, 2025 at 3:09 pmShe was very wary at first, but the team were so lovely and her keyworker was so great that it only took a few weeks for her to settle and be able to delight in being there. It’s three months later and she now gets visibly excited to pull up to childcare centre! The team consistently put photos up for us to see every day and give us a full rundown on her activities. Every day they do something enjoyable! Anytime I’ve emailed an admin query they have been really quick to respond. I’m really glad we chose this childcare centre. My daughter started in the under 3s room in January 2022.

June 7, 2025 at 7:20 pmHe loves his key worker and all the team there. It’s a lovely setting with a excellent outside space. The manager and finance team are efficient and welcoming. Would highly suggest! My son started this setting in January and has already settled in so nicely.
