Truly Scrumptious Early Years Nursery - Ongar

My little boy went to the Romford Truly Scrumptious which was run by the same members of staff as the new Ongar nursery.
He went there from the age of 2 until he left for school. The nursery is well run & it has a real family feel about it. I could not fault them & generally care about the children especially the younger girls that work there.
They always put on lovely shows for the children at Christmas & special occasions. The food was great & healthy choices & the facilities for the children were great. I now have twins & if I could afford to send them there I would!!
It will always be fondly remembered as part of my little boys growing up.

Both of my children have attended the Romford branch of Truly Scrumptious and have been cared for by the staff who are now at the Ongar branch. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. We looked at LOTS of nurseries prior to our eldest starting nursery when she was two years old and I knew instantly Truly was the place for her.
The nursery has a real family, close knit feel and I never once worried about the care our daughter received for the entire two years which has made being a working mum much easier and stress free.
When it was time to return to work a second time round I didn’t hesitate in choosing the nursery again for my 6 month old, and he has been equally happy there.
The nursery manages to keep a real homely, loving feel, which I found a lot of nurseries lacked, all the staff know all of the children, right through to the lovely cooks who go out of their way to know the children’s likes and dislikes. The blend of older, more experienced ladies and younger enthusiastic and extremely capable staff is perfect. My daughter enjoyed every single minute at the nursery and learned a lot too, giving her a great foundation for starting school. My son is turning into a real happy and very sociable little lad and is always full of smiles when we arrive in the mornings so they also give the nursery a thumbs up!

My two children recently joined this nursery because their usual nursery closed during the lockdown period.
I am very impressed with the staff who have made my children feel very comfortable, safe and happy from day one. The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly and they formed positive relationships with my children. I appreciate that at present there are only a few children attending nursery (only children of key workers) and therefore the staff to children ratio is greater than under normal circumstances, but we have truly appreciated the daily updates and pictures sent via the app.
The layout of the nursery is very well thought out and there is ample space, with plenty of toys and activities.
The staff have been very accommodating with my children’s allergies too.
My children seem to have a fun-filled day with multiple interesting activities and I can see their confidence growing each day. Thank you very much to the managers and staff at Truly Scrumptious!
