Tots n Tykes Nursery

From our initial walk round (the Manager is highly well‑informed and personable) to him starting and continuing there we can’t do anything but praise it, it’s remarkable.

The team are so welcoming, well‑informed and nothing is too much trouble. The food, activities and discovering journals (online) are all excellent too and they have a Forest School they attend which our boy enjoys. We just adore this place. Our little girl will also attend here shortly and we are sure she will adore it just as much. Our little boy has attended this childcare centre since he was 14 months old and he has consistently loved it!

Although apprehensive to start her in the childcare centre, the team in the room made me sense so at ease! They are all so welcoming, inviting and compassionate on drop off and collection. With daily updates, I get to find out what she’s up to, what she’s eaten and for how long she slept. She now walks off and gets stuck in every day and it’s so nice to see! The activities in the baby room look like lots of enjoyable, from the painting, water playtime and even a suitcase of sand! Thank you to all the team! My daughter started at Tots “n” Tykes in the baby room back in April.

With Tots n Tykes, both times, my kids have left it has been incredibly emotional. The journey my kids had there was remarkable, they grew so much and adored the team. The activities the team carry out are incredible, tailored to the kids’s’ interests and highly creative. My youngest loves all the singing and has a huge repertoire of childcare centre rhymes now, thanks to his key worker. The space in the childcare centre is small, but it has been utilised to its fullest, and the kids are never limited by the size. One way of judging a childcare centre is how you sense when it’s time for your kid to move on from that setting.

We adore the team – they are consistently welcoming, supportive and keen to offer advice and assistance when needed. They have consistently been fab at talking about the day my kids have had or any concerns. I have consistently felt my kids are cheerful and secure here. They have developed so well socially, emotionally and developmentally. We have been using Tots n Tykes childcare centre for a few years now as our little girl attended and now our little boy does.

She’s now nearly 4.
I was initially won over by the member team in the baby room because she was so inviting and attentive. She and the team in there took exceptional care of my baby, as have all the team in the rooms as she’s grown up through the toddler room into preschool.
It feels like a little family there and I consistently sense that the team genuinely care for and want the best for my kid. They do loads of truly sweet and enjoyable activities like visiting the local park, forest school, even a mini first aid course. Also lots of stuff around emotional development.
I wasn’t interested in a childcare centre that focused on academia – I wanted my kid just to playtime, be secure and cheerful (which she absolutely gets there). But she’s actually also had some excellent teaching too especially in terms of phonics. They make it truly enjoyable so my daughter has picked up some truly advanced reading and writing skills along the way.
Couldn’t suggest it more. My daughter has been at Tots n Tykes Childcare centre since she was 12 months old.

The care and dedication that each team member gives to the kids is outstanding. Tots n Tykes have the perfect team and each goes above and beyond to make the kids’s time at childcare centre enjoyable and educational. As a parent, the whole process of our kid starting childcare centre to leaving, was easy. All the team are approachable and welcoming and give regular updates on how your kid is progressing. Our kid’s self‑assurance has grown so much since been at Tots n Tykes. Our kid has been at Tots n Tykes since a baby, right through to leaving for school at 4 years old.

The team are excellent and have been remarkable. My daughter has loved coming every day and the team have been a massive help in teaching her, as well as developing her creativity, playtime, and social skills. Remarkable from beginning to end!

I sense that both my kids have benefitted and grown in self‑assurance thanks to Tots n Tykes. The team go above and beyond their roles and you can be assured your little ones are in secure hands.
