Tops Day Nurseries: Winchester Nursery

They are compassionate and expert and provide a secure, attentive setting which allows discovering and development. Both of my kids have attended since 10 months and I have consistently felt confident in the care they provide. They are flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended. The childcare centre manager and the team make the childcare centre a excellent place for care.

We are regularly updated on her daily activities including sleeping time, meals and nappy checks through the parents’ app, and have also had opportunities to discuss her long term growth and development through her key worker. I observe that the team are attentive and dedicated to the kids’s welfare and discovering. She has lost some items at childcare centre, a very minor issue as it’s mostly clothing and not items my daughter is attached to. My daughter enjoys a broad range of activities, especially the outdoors and sensory playtime.

He absolutely loves it. The team in preschool are compassionate and loving. They assistance his development and independence but provide him with the right nurturing too. The team in all rooms have been equally as loving as he’s worked his way to preschool.
The team are mostly the same since he started, so he knows them very well, and they know him very well.
My daughter also attended for a year a couple of years ago and loved it just as equally.
We get updates regularly on the app, which is lovely. The childcare centre manager is supportive and consistently there if you need a chat or advice. Through the Covid pandemic, they have been just incredible, never complained and have remained open! My son has attended since he was around 16-months-old and will be leaving this year for school.

The team kept us well informed in person and with messages via the app. We were most impressed by the flexibility offered, including early opening and late closing times, which suited our work patterns well. Overall, very pleased and grateful for the way they looked after our son. Our son went to Tops Winchester for two years and had a excellent time.

They’ve only attended one day a week so it has been a bit hard for them to sense completely settled but this is not at all due to the team, who are consistently very welcoming and spend time helping them to settle in. The updates from management is exceptional and they consistently respond promptly to any concerns or questions we have. The team are all super welcoming and clearly passionate about their roles. Sometimes we would have liked a few more observations as we didn’t get them every day but that’s really only a minor issue for some constructive feedback purposes! We will miss Tops a lot! We already loved the childcare centre, with our eldest son attending since he was 10-months (now 4), but over the last year, they have truly excelled themselves, providing the stability that our boys needed over the pandemic, showing them such attentive care, and consistently going out of their way to help in any way they can. There is a real “can do” attitude and the team are, without exception, incredible. The manager and the deputy do a fantastic job of running things, and we can’t thank them and the rest of the team enough. We cannot suggest Tops Winchester enough.

The team show a real concern for the welfare of your kid and seem cheerful and proud of the childcare centre. Ultimately sense very comfortable dropping off the kiddo there every day, knowing they’ll be looked after well.
Outside space is limited and would like to see a better method of allocating ‘forest school’ places rather than first come first served. The childcare centre is managed really well.

From the moment I meet the manager and looked round I know it was the place for him. My son has moved through two rooms and I can’t praise all the team highly enough. Their attitude, assistance and care are second to none and my son has come on leap and bounds with their assistance. Would highly suggest and we will greatly miss seeing everyone as my son moves on to school. Tops Day Nurseries: Winchester Childcare centre has been a remarkable childcare centre for my son.

What I adore about it is that I can drop my daughter off early in the morning and pick her up at night as I am a shift worker. She goes only 2x a week but she consistently has loads of enjoyable in there. Socialising with other kids surely did give her lots of self‑assurance. The team does a excellent job in looking after her very well and I’m so grateful to them. I have chosen this childcare centre as it’s close to my workplace.

Such a wide selection of activities and so much thought put into developmental journeys. The team work so hard and clearly care so much about all the kids. Excellent people giving outstanding, varied and considered care.
