Tops Day Nurseries: Devonport Nursery

Being her sole carer, and with lockdown meaning it’s been only the two of us 24/7 for over 4 months, I was very nervous about leaving her with strangers. However, she has settled amazingly well and I can’t thank the whole team enough, they’ve really gone the extra mile to smooth the transition for her (and for me, consistently checking that I’m ok too). Everyone is compassionate and attentive, and I completely trust in them that my daughter is in secure hands, and being very well cared for. 100% suggest, especially if perhaps your kid is highly attached as mine is; they really have taken away the worries I had initially, and I can see childcare centre is already helping her to thrive and build her self‑assurance, it’s so reassuring for me to see. Thank you all. I couldn’t be happier that I chose Tops Devonport for my daughter!

They have very great updates and consistently cheerful and welcoming team. The hours are very flexible and consistently cheerful to help when they can. Management is definitely the best it’s been and I highly suggest Tops childcare centre to everyone I speak to. The childcare centre has been excellent with my kid and me, consistently helping when I need it, by last-minute calls I give them and ask for my daughter to go in.

They are consistently discovering something new and going on trips within the community. The team are all incredible, they are consistently so positive and full of encouragement, they really build the kids self‑assurance and teach them invaluable life skills and values.
I adore their focus on being eco-welcoming and the menus are so exciting and give the kids the opportunity to try such a variety of foods. This is one very special childcare centre. I have 2 kids at this childcare centre and both of them adore coming here.

My two nearly three-year-old son is thriving here, all thanks to them. He’s consistently excited to go to childcare centre. His speech has improved leaps and bounds, they had really taken into consideration the particular help my son needs and gives him the one to one time to work with him. The cold and inviting meal time options are top marks. There are consistently remarkable group activities. I adore seeing the pictures and reading the description of what the team are monitoring, such as the fine and gross motor skills shared on the app, this is such a nice touch. I sense like we have hit the jackpot with these girls. Thank you for all of your care and attention. I can’t praise the team at Tops Day Nurseries: Devonport childcare centre enough.

He has developed so much since starting at tops days. He has never cry once I drop him and he consistently is cheerful to see the team there. The childcare centre Practitioner is excellent and does a remarkable job, and the Manager consistently makes my little one smile. They are doing a great job. Very recommended. Tops days childcare centre is been excellent for my son, I was a bit anxious when first I had to return to work but seen how he enjoys going to childcare centre make me sense at ease.

My daughter loves going into childcare centre. She is an outdoors kid so the free flow garden was a definite winner.
Sadly during the short time that my daughter has been going there has been a high turnover of team including management. I’m hoping the new management team will change this turnover. I’m a true advocate for if my kid is cheerful then that makes me cheerful.

But once they settled and became so cheerful with their new childcare centre I couldn’t change them back to the other one. They both have come on leaps and bounds since joining Tops. The team are so welcoming and are consistently willing to help. My Mum died during lockdown and I needed help at childcare centre last minute and they managed to have them in full time for the whole week whilst I made arrangements at home. The girls are consistently asking ‘how many sleeps until childcare centre’. Two of my girls joined this childcare centre during lockdown and it was only meant to be temporary until their other childcare centre reopened.

She’s consistently excited to go, loves all the team members and comes home cheerful after her day. The team have consistently been really supportive of the whole family if we have encountered any issues in our lives. My daughter eats so well at childcare centre and usually ends up getting a second helping because she enjoyed the food so much. She loves all the activities that she gets to do here and as we don’t have a garden at home, she gets to delight in all the outside space. My daughter has come into her own since starting here.

She has become very confident, outgoing, independent and more importantly, her speech development has grown by leaps and bounds.
She consistently looks forward to going to childcare centre and recognises most of the team when she sees them. We consistently look forward to the activity updates we receive, and are very cheerful with the care and assistance the team at Tops Day, Devonport provide. There has been such a massive improvement in my two-year-old since she started at Tops Day, Devonport.
