Tiddlywinks Nursery School (Chadderton)

My grandson attends three days each week and he absolutely loves it. He has so much fun there and is able to get involved and join in activities and games that he wouldn’t have the opportunity to do at home as the nursery has amazing facilities, toys and equipment for the children and they also have a jungle gym with a slide which my grandson plays on. The things my grandson enjoys to do at nursery is: painting, playdough, crafts, outdoor play and sports, playing with the animals, cars and bricks and he also enjoys story time and circle time which is when the children talk about the things they have done over the weekend or places they have been… The key carers listen to the children during circle time and they plan activities based on the children’s interests and link to home life which I find very good because as a grandparent I like to be involved in his learning and development.
The nursery have great communication through mail merge system and social media which is always updated.

My daughter has attended Tiddlywinks Nursery School Chadderton since she was two years old. The transition period was something my daughter struggled with at the beginning which made me very anxious as a parent. However, the staff put my mind at ease as they were very approachable, caring and considerate during this time, they not only informed me about the activities they provided to help my child settle in but showed me various activities through photos and videos which my child happily engaged in. Ever since, the nursery has always provided outstanding childcare and have always provided activities to help my daughter become more confident and develop in all areas. My child loves coming into nursery and looks forward to participating in rugby tots and football-extra activities the nursery provides. I would highly recommend this nursery to all parents as they make me and my child feel welcome every day and you can see the passion of the carers when supporting my child.

My cousin attended Tiddlywinks Nursery School in January and he really enjoyed it. He bonded in really well with the practitioners and children in the room. The practitioners within the setting were really supportive as they supported him with making the transition.
All the staff at Tiddlywinks are very welcoming and supportive. At handover, they kept me up to date with what my cousin had done throughout the day and provided me with a daily sheet which included what fun activities he had participated in.
I would definitely recommend this setting.

My daughter has been at Tiddlywinks since she was 9 months old. This week she left at the age of 4 years and 9 months, I am truly heartbroken. Tiddlywinks become family to us. The nursery is absolutely beautiful, wide range of activities, fantastic facilities.. the image makes Tiddlywinks stand out from the rest. What I will say, which may get missed at a first glance is each and every member of staff goes above and beyond for the children, I have a bright, polite, kind, caring, confident, adventurous little girl – thanks to the staff at Tiddlywinks, we raised her together. My daughter loved going to nursery, she loved all the adventures, all of the fun, she had a great relationship with all of the staff. The care and support shown to my daughter is immeasurable, but also to myself, I was supported throughout her journey at Tiddlywinks. Thank you Tiddlywinks, I will forever be grateful and I am sure you will see me soon if she gets that brother or sister she wants haha !

Such a wonderful nursery. All the staff are lovely; my daughter has come on leaps and bounds since she started here at just 8-months-old. She is now 3 and absolutely thriving here. The days are varied with lots of activities and learning. I’m always so surprised with what my daughter knows from what she’s been taught here, and I wish she could stay here for another couple of years! I’ll be sad when she starts school.
Highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

My daughter has just finished her first six months here. She loves it, she gets so excited as we get nearby, as we walk in the morning! She adores the singing and playing outside, and I love that she has outdoor space available to her.

Positive and motivating environment. My child always comes out happy. The staff team are always positive and constructive about my child’s feedback. Their language is motivating and they will resolve issues that occur at nursery – at nursery. They are always smiling and professional on handover at the end of the day. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They will happily support with reading from school and any additional support. This is a fantastic nursery in terms of their attitude towards nurture and positive discipline. They have consistently high standards that I can feel as a parent.

Amazing nursery with so much to do, making the transition to nursery so much easier than expected. We still get some cries, however, they assure me every time I ring, that he is happy and playing and they are never bothered when I ring.

Lovely caring staff, lots of extra activities including dancing, sign language, football and rugby tots and lots of special celebration days! My little boy is so happy at nursery, he has lots of friends and enjoys all the activities.

Tiddlywinks Nursery School has been fantastic whilst settling my daughter into the baby room at such a young age of 6 months old, it has enabled Mum and myself to feel at ease when returning to work. The nursery managers and key carers are all very welcoming, positive and always happy to dedicate their time to providing you with a thorough handover. The baby room provides a stimulating environment for my daughter and she is really enjoying her time playing and exploring! The nursery staff ensure the cleanliness of the nursery is of high standard always which is a bonus to the great service they provide for us families. Thank you Tiddlywinks Nursery School.
