Thornhill Day Nursery & Pre-school

Before my daughter was quite shy, but since going to nursery, she is happier, more agile and more confident in crowds. The nursery is very clean, the toys are very good and wooden, so cute. She loves the teachers at this nursery very much. One month for my daughter to get acquainted with the nursery, with the teacher and friends, I feel very pleased to see that she can explore many games and lessons and become more agile after nursery. My daughter is very happy when she comes to the nursery; she does not feel strange when she comes here. When the teachers pick her up at the door, she automatically reaches out and wants to join the class with the teacher. That made me feel like I had chosen the right school for my little girl. I can feel secure at work; every day I can also see my daughter through the posts of teachers about their children in the parent area. Now, I want to change the session from 1 pm-6 pm to 7.30 am -6 pm. Thank you so much to everyone here. Love all.

I highly recommend Thornhill after removing my son from a previous setting, the manager of Thornhill was extremely accommodating to accept my son and bent over backwards to get this done very swiftly and as smoothly as possible! The team who look after my son are second to none. My son has established a wonderful relationship with all members of the staff, this enabled his transition to Thornhill to be as comfortable as possible. The nursery itself is a fabulously newly refurbished building with excellent facilities. I would strongly recommend Thornhill to anyone that was looking for a nursery setting.

My daughter recently started at Thornhill Day Nursery and so far, I am very pleased with the care she is receiving. The staff and management are very passionate about what they do and my daughter really enjoys going each day. The nursery keep you informed on everything from nappy changes to meals and send photos of your child each day through a secure app. I would definitely recommend Thornhill Day Nursery!

Our daughter has attended the nursery since it opened. All the staff have been amazing and helped her to settle into the new routine. A few months on, she still remains very happy and gets very excited to go every morning. All the staff are so kind, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Looking back, I have no idea why I was so nervous to send my children into nursery. Right from the very beginning, Thornhill Day Nursery & Pre-school have gone above and beyond to make both my children and I feel welcomed and comfortable. The setting is absolutely beautiful with such a wide range of toys, inside activity spaces and a large outdoor space. They have taken all of the best parts from education types and created their own way which is perfect for every child. Both my 3-year-old and 10-month-old are absolutely thriving in this setting, within a relatively short space of time they’ve built strong relationships with the incredible ladies who work here which is beautiful to see. To see them both go into nursery with ease and trust that they’ll be well fed, supported, loved and educated in a way that suits their learning needs, and to know that I will be informed throughout the day of what is happening is something I value more than anyone could imagine.

I was so apprehensive about my son starting nursery. I was worried that people just wouldn’t understand him like I did and he would just be another baby in a room. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The staff at Thornhill treat your child like one of their own. They create such genuine bonds with the children they care for, it is like leaving them with a family member. Every milestone that my son has hit has been celebrated by the staff. They truly take joy in seeing the little ones in their care flourish. I trust the staff unreservedly in the professional judgements they make day to day with my son. My son is so happy going into nursery and it is such a relief knowing that we made the right decision by choosing Thornhill. Thank you all for your hard work, you are absolutely fantastic at what you do. I would recommend Thornhill a thousand times over!

My child has recently started in the baby room at Thornhill Day Nursery and I was nervous about him being with anybody else as he has only ever been with me or his father. However, the staff have been incredibly supportive and friendly to us which has made the transition a lot easier. I get daily/weekly updates about my child’s day and his progress which I find very settling while I am going back to work. The menu is varied and healthy and my little boy eats all of every meal. I am delighted with the activities that have been set up in the room for him as there are lots to explore and it looks so much fun. A big thank you to all the staff at Thornhill, you are doing an incredible job. Thank you!

The staff are absolutely amazing and always reassuring with a smile on their faces. As a first-time mum, I was very anxious about my little girl starting nursery but the lovely ladies looking after my daughter always send me updates via the app. Great nursery, would highly recommend.
