The Wendy House

(Our son talks about the tasty food cooked by the chef, every time we pick him up). They consistently have varied activities and practical playtime experiences. Our son attended from the age of two and a half and had his last day last week at the age of nearly four and a half. He has loved every day spent at The Wendy House. He has consistently spoken fondly of all the team that have cared for him and played with him. He will hopefully be returning to the High 5 club in the school holidays, so he can keep in touch with the friends he has made. I honestly could not find anything negative to say about the quality of care that the team at the Wendy House provide. Professionally operated by a attentive team. Lovely, attentive, welcoming team, high standard of cleanliness, efficiently run, very great updates, healthy freshly cooked meals every day.

My youngest is currently in the baby room and has some additional medical needs which all the girls have become really well‑informed about and are very supportive of his ongoing treatment. Team also get to know each kid’s personality and little quirks so well and talk about them with such fondness that they almost sense like family! Even team in other rooms know your kid and say hello, it’s really heartwarming! My eldest moved onto school last September and has thoroughly enjoyed going back to Holiday Club and seeing his favourite ‘educators’ from Red Group! The food and daily activities are excellent and I particularly adore how much outdoor playtime they get even in inclement weather. One slight negative is that I find the billing difficult to follow and would prefer a simpler, more transparent invoicing system, although I’m sure this isn’t helped by the complicated funding system that is currently in place! The team at The Wendy House really are second to none!

He really seems to like being handed over to his key worker and he comes home a very cheerful compassionate of tired every day. We’ve really noticed a change in his personality and skills in a short space of time which we owe to the compassionate, attentive and creative team. He loves the food he is having which is home-cooked and full of variety. We get a full report of his daily activities every day and we adore that they take him outdoors to see the sheep and horses etc. So far we couldn’t fault the place. My son (one) has been at The Wendy House for two months now and is so far, loving every second of it.

With him being my first kid, I was a little sceptical about nurseries but I have not been disappointed. He has absolutely loved being at childcare centre and I cannot thank the team and manager enough for making my son so welcome. They are a very spotless, attentive team and provide the best food for the kids with a wide variety of food. His speech has also improved since joining the childcare centre and it’s a delight to see him so cheerful. We are relocating but the Wendy House will consistently be very special to our family. My son has been attending the Wendy House since he was 16 months.

My two kids attend The Wendy House. They look forward to the days that they go. My little boy used to get upset leaving me at the front door but the team would consistently update me and send pictures to reassure me that he was cheerful and settled once he was in his room. He now walks off and waves goodbye with no issues due to the girls making an incredible bond with him. He adores them all. You can see the team and management’s genuine care that they have for all of the kids. I adore seeing all of the activities that both my kids do when they are there through the app which I adore. Sometimes my daughter doesn’t want to leave but that just makes me more cheerful in a way to know that she’s having the best time. I would suggest The Wendy House to anyone and will be very sad to leave when the kids attend school! Thank you Wendy House for everything you are doing to help my kids learn and grow. The best childcare centre around the Flintshire area!

She’s cheerful and smiling going in and tells me all about her day when we get home. The owner and the team are phenomenal. Fantastic team, this is the second childcare centre my daughter has been to and she absolutely loves it.

The manager and her team are outstanding. My little girl has been doing just one full day a week for the last eight months which we were worried may mean she would find it hard to settle with a week between visits but, after a few settling in sessions, she runs in with barely a backward glance and enjoys a full day of activities, crafts, playtime, music and lots of delicious home-cooked food and snacks – which of course she eats all of, unlike at home!
The team have consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate us in terms of Covid anxieties and their updates is excellent. I leave my little girl in their care without any worries for the full day and know she’s secure, well looked after and having a fabulous time with her friends and the team who really do care about your kid. Cannot suggest The Wendy House Day Childcare centre highly enough.

There is lots of outside playing and the childcare is outstanding. He has become a confident and independent little boy, since attending The Wendy House. My son has attended since he was 9 months old and has been very cheerful, consistently willing to go and with big smiles coming home.

A attentive and nurturing setting. Outstanding care is delivered daily. Updates is also very great, parents are updated regularly on a range of information. Consistent and progressive provision for my daughter.

I worried a lot about everything. Very soon it became apparent that my son being at childcare centre was one less thing to worry about. The team are remarkable. They genuinely care, they are so compassionate and lovely. My son has been in baby, toddler and the blue room now and has clearly really enjoyed his time there. The updates is outstanding, he has a little book of what he has eaten, nappy changes, sleep and what he’s been up to and enjoyed doing that day. They use an app to communicate messages, and newsletters and share photos of the week – it’s lovely to see them playing and doing activities. The menu and the food they have looks absolutely delicious. I wholeheartedly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. Absolutely fantastic. My son was 6 months old starting at childcare centre.
