The Webber Nursery

The nursery has met and exceeded my expectations. My son is happy there and can’t wait to tell me what he did each day. He has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are all very friendly and engaging. I have the opportunity to speak to the staff regularly (particularly my son’s keyworker). I’m very content in my decision to start my son at Webber nursery.

I have found The Webber Nursery to be a fantastic place for my son. He is happy and very settled there, due to the fact of his close relationship to his key worker. Their learning is focused and personalised to him which has given him a thirst for learning, putting him in a great position for his transition to reception. We are kept well up to date with the use of tapestry and his focus weeks. Very impressed with the care of all of the staff at The Webber Nursery.

They are very friendly, kind and considerate handling kids. We have used 4-5 nurseries in the past, and I prefer them compared to others.
They are teaching phonics/readings/yoga etc in the nursery, and my daughter loves it.

My daughter attends Webber Nursery, she started there in the baby room and has now moved up to the next age-related room. She absolutely loves going, she has friends, she plays and learns so much through her play too. The teachers are fantastic, and you can see how much they care for the children. I get updates via an app to my phone, so I can see my daughter’s development, and also the fun she is having during the day. The building is very safe and entry via a camera entry. Also, with Covid, they have taken every precaution to keep the nursery safe and open. My daughter walks in in the morning and knows she has her temperature taken!
Highly recommend without exception.

The Webber Nursery and everyone that works there is absolutely fantastic. My 2-year-old literally runs in on every day that he attends, hardly even bothering to turn around to say goodbye to me! He was struggling a little with his speech when he started a few months ago, but the learning and interactions that he has received has seen it improve amazingly already. I really couldn’t ask for a better setting to send him to.

My 2.5year-old son had never attended any care setting prior to starting at The Webber Nursery, and due to lockdown, was unable to go and view nurseries, so I was somewhat a novice at what to expect. The acting head put me at ease straight away and explained everything. Since he started, they have been amazing. My confident little boy has loved every minute and needs reminding to say bye as he runs in with excitement to see his new friends. Two key workers have made sure he feels safe, and he even said “bye love you” to one of them last week, so clearly he feels safe.
He comes home and tells me everything he’s done that day with so much enthusiasm that it makes me wish I was there too.
I couldn’t ask for a better care environment for my son. I know he’s in safe hands so I can go to work and not worry.
I love the ethos that the school has, their objectives and mine are pretty aligned with regards to learning.
Hopefully, he will continue to love The Webber until he’s 16.

The Webber Nursery is a wonderful nursery. The staff are approachable and always helpful. Our son is very excited about going in every morning. They are very focused on individual child development through regular focus weeks. They also provide us updates at the end of each day and via an online journal. The activities are fun and varied. Our son loves telling us about what he has been up to each day! We would highly recommend this nursery.

Very poor experience.
Young staff not trained well – safeguarding issues.
Issues raised would be ignored – no response to emails and calls.
Outdoor area not specially designed for toddlers.
Food – terrible and tiny scrappy portions.
Staff “spread too thin” by their own admission.
They have great difficulty managing toddler behaviour.
Didn’t clean my child’s face and hands.
Individual development targets set but nothing much done to meet them.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 8 months old. He always is happy to get out the car when we pull up to the nursery. Any concerns I have, are always dealt with in a timely manner. The learning programme is inclusive of many cultural backgrounds. I feel the menu is a little repetitive and would like to see a wider selection of vegetables used, but my son always eats everything and often goes back for seconds. The nursery staff are lovely and they genuinely seem to care about my son. Overall, a very positive experience.

The Webber Nursery is like no other, for my twins, the environment was nurturing, bright and learning is an important part of the nursery day along with lots of play and experiences (yoga). The staff were all warm, friendly and professional. The Manager and Deputy Manager the same! Very professional and happy to deal with any concerns or queries promptly. My 3 year old son completed his potty training within 2-3 weeks of starting at The Webber Nursery, the staff have the patience to support but also instil and encourage independence. As a family, we were extremely happy with our 3 year old twin’s experience and they gained alot from The Webber Nursery! Lunches were yummy and a Bonus for us was that they actually provide Halal options which is unavailable at all other nurseries we engaged with or previously attended. My children had attended two franchise nurseries and whilst they may look pretty and their lunches lovely – in terms of learning, care and overall experience, The Webber Nursery is a Winner!
