The Riverside Day Nursery Windsor

Our son has been attending The Riverside Day Nursery since he was 11 months old in the Younger Babies room and he is now almost 3 years old.
I cannot say enough brilliant things about this nursery. Our son had never had any form of childcare – being a Covid baby he hadn’t even been looked after by family before. He came to Riverside from that to four and a half days and he has just thrived there from day one.
The staff are so caring, thoughtful, fun and supportive. They truly care about the children and the children have so much fun every day. Their creativity and dedication in the nursery rooms and activities they plan is amazing. I have never seen such amazing displays! The new outdoor garden play area is brilliant and my son loves playing outside. This was a big reason we chose this nursery over others in the area. For me, the most important thing is that they prioritise children being happy children. They are confident, independent and come skipping into nursery every day.

Our Son has attended The Riverside Day Nursery from 9 months, he’s now two and a half and has loved every second! He has a great relationship with all the staff and loves telling us about his day and all the fantastic activities he gets up to including yoga, moo music and playing in the garden.
He’s built his first peer relationships and we get regular development reviews which are all glowing, a reflection of the hard work and attention the staff put in. We are in no doubt we made the right choice in childcare.

After a decade of near-continuous childcare, my third child is almost ready to leave The Riverside! It’s been wonderful seeing the business grow over this time, see the staff move up through the ranks and see their service evolve over this time. It’s been great knowing that we’d always get the feedback that we’d need to keep our kids on track and that all of the staff were open to receiving feedback from us as well.
Although all different, all of my daughters have left The Riverside feeling happy, confident and excited to start school – what more could a parent ask! Thanks so much to the whole team for everything you’ve done over the past decade!

The team at Riverside Day Nursery Windsor are a godsend. They have taken such wonderful care of our son over the years, he comes home from nursery happy, having spent different days of the week doing different activities – swimming, yoga, walks to see the swans and ducks, PE, art, reading, etc. The nursery also takes full advantage of the fantastic outdoor space, in the dedicated outside play area for the nursery. Knowing our son spends plenty of time in the fresh air while still playing and learning has been great for his development. The nursery staff clearly all care for the children. Almost as important, it is clear the owner of the nursery and her management team at the nursery take the time to organise things for the parents too – Father’s Day and Mother’s Day gatherings at the nursery, Christmas performance by the children, personalised cards from your child, etc. It really is all round a wonderful nursery. I cannot recommend highly enough!

This is the best nursery around. The staff are amazing; they are caring, kind, friendly, loving and giving to all of the children in their care. My daughter absolutely loves it here and my son will soon start. It is extremely reassuring to know how well looked after they are and the brilliant learning and development they receive. There is a reason they have a huge waiting list! Thanks for all you do Riverside staff!

The manager and the team are unbelievable. They always go above and beyond. Even for the special events like Mother and Father’s Day. Baby room team are outstanding

Seeing my son’s eagerness to go to preschool every day and also how he has grown since the time he joined, I can’t recommend this nursery enough. Love the staff and the activities they have to teach different aspects of life and education. The best nursery around I can definitely assure.

We have been with The Riverside Day Nursery for almost 4 years now and both our daughters have absolutely thrived in this nurturing and educational setting.
I’m always amazed at how innovative and creative the team are when designing play tasks and this keeps it fun and interesting for the children. They also run events for Mother’s and Father’s Day every year and put on a Xmas concert & party, which makes the parents feel involved.
The space and facilities are fantastic and the children especially love the outdoor area and on top of this the staff are wonderful. Kind, caring and supportive in the development of the children.
I wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else for my girls to start their journey into the big wide world and I feel so lucky that we have had such a special time with The Riverside Day Nursery

Fantastic nursery. My daughter is always happy to go and play and learn. All the girls in the nursery are supportive and so welcoming. I highly recommend this nursery. We are very lucky to have it in our area.

We couldn’t be happier with The Riverside Day Nursery. Both our boys have been going there and the eldest is just about to leave to go to reception. He is so well prepared and has had the most wonderful, nurturing environment. Thank you to the manager and the most amazing Riverside Nursery team!
