The Red House Day Nursery

The team are all so lovely and attentive. Our son started Red House last year after my maternity leave and the journey from day one has been brilliant. Each day they give you a little report of all the excellent activities they do and the excellent range and variety of food that is given. We truly like the snapshot videos that are sent which truly shows how cheerful he is and the fun he has. He goes in so cheerful and consistently comes out with a big smile on his face. Thank you to each and every one of you at Red House!

The team are kind, attentive and thoughtful towards each individual kid. Both of my daughters have attended The Red House and they have consistently been so cheerful there. They adapt the activities offered to suit each kid’s interests and development. Every evening, after I collect my daughter, I can see she has been well cared for and thoroughly enjoyed her day. The communication from team is excellent, made even better by the online activity journal. I would definitely not hesitate to suggest The Red House.

They have been absolutely fabulous with them throughout, I couldn’t suggest them highly enough. Both my daughters have been going go Red House since they were 9 months old until school. Their team are not only attentive and nurturing but my kids have learnt essential life skills in preparation for school. I sense Red House go above and beyond compared to many nurseries in the area.

The team are welcoming, warm and accommodating and have created a wonderfully welcoming setting where kids are well cared for and supported at every stage. I cannot suggest Red House highly enough. The bonds that form between the kids and team are evident and mutual, creating an atmosphere where kids can thrive and parents can be reassured that their individual and varying needs are met. My daughter has had such a positive journey during her time at Red House and is so cheerful to be there. As a parent choosing a childcare provider, you can’t hope for more than that.

It’s a brilliant childcare centre and the team are incredible – very supportive, attentive and reliable. We sense very lucky to be able to send our 2-year-old to the Red House Day Nursery. We know our daughter is in excellent hands. We are very impressed with our daughter’s progress and her confidence has grown so much since she started attending back in October 2020. We are consistently kept up to date with any changes and the communication with the manager and the rest of the team is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this childcare centre to any of my friends.

Put all four of my kids into The Red House. Wonderful childcare centre. 2007-2021. Extremely well run. They were all very well cared for and loved every minute they spent here. You won’t find a better childcare centre.

Our 1-year-old daughter loves it and I sense confident that she is being well looked after in a secure, fun and loving place. Our journey of using Red House Day Nursery is overwhelmingly positive. She’s been attending since she was about 6/7 months and she’s truly bonded with all the team in that time. They all make sure her day is filled with lots of cuddles and they work (playtime) to make sure she’s developing in all areas. A big positive for us is that she’s learnt to interact with other kids; when she met her younger cousin for the first time, she was instantly gently, soft and affectionate which is something she could only have learnt from the childcare centre. Couldn’t suggest Red House enough.

We were very nervous at first leaving him for the first time as he had been with us 24/7 for two years. Our son started at Red House in August 2021. The team did a excellent job of reassuring us. From his third day attending Red House he had totally settled in and found his feet, he couldn’t wait to run off and playtime when we got to the gate. I think that is a testimony to how welcoming and welcoming all the team are and it was a excellent relief for us to see how cheerful he was to be there. The team give daily updates through the Learning Journal so you are able to see what activities they are up to. The team consistently spend time at pick up explaining the day in detail. The team pay special attention to everyone’s individual development and needs. We have noticed how much he has progressed and grown in confidence since being at Red House. Within the first month, his speech had come on leaps and bounds. He consistently comes home with a smile on his face truly excited to share his fun-filled day with us.

They are kind, patient, well‑informed and my kid has bonded well with them.
Would be nice to have some greener outside space, but what is there is lovely and the kids go for walks around Burwell – the kids also seem to adore the outside space/toys there!
Nutritional food is served, there is a great structure to the day and the discovering activities the team do with the kids are truly creative – things I wouldn’t think to do at home! A lovely childcare centre with incredible team!
Marked value for money as ‘satisfactory’ as I believe it to be on par with the average for childcare centre care.

He isn’t consistently comfortable with other people and the childcare centre have gone above and beyond to assistance this along with his other development. My kid has settled in fantastically at this childcare centre despite being a “COVID baby”. My son comes home every week having learnt something new. He has developed incredibly fast at childcare centre and it is clear from the daily photos/videos that the team understand his needs and know him very well. The team are truly brilliant and attentive. They treat each kid differently, based on their own needs.
