The Red House Day Nursery

Wonderful nursery. Put all four of my children into The Red House. 2007-2021. Extremely well run. They were all very well cared for and loved every minute they spent here. You won’t find a better nursery.

All three of my children have attended this nursery and all have been very happy here. The staff are very friendly and approachable and build great relationships with the children. There are so many activities for the children to do. I feel that this nursery has helped/is helping to prepare my children for school.

Both our children attend/have attended this nursery and we have always been happy with the care and attention that they receive. The nursery is clean, friendly and professional. They have an online platform to share pictures and videos. But it’s the staff that really make the nursery special. Friendly, approachable and trustworthy. It’s reassuring to know how much our children love the nursery and we would certainly recommend it to others.

Our experience of using Red House Day Nursery is overwhelmingly positive. Our 1-year-old daughter loves it and I feel confident that she is being well looked after in a safe, fun and loving place. She’s been attending since she was about 6/7 months and she’s really bonded with all the staff in that time. They all make sure her day is filled with lots of cuddles and they work (play) to make sure she’s developing in all areas. A big positive for us is that she’s learnt to interact with other children; when she met her younger cousin for the first time, she was instantly gently, soft and affectionate which is something she could only have learnt from the nursery. Couldn’t recommend Red House enough.

Both of my daughters have attended The Red House and they have always been so happy there. The staff are kind, caring and thoughtful towards each individual child. They adapt the activities offered to suit each child’s interests and development. Every evening, after I collect my daughter, I can see she has been well cared for and thoroughly enjoyed her day. The communication from staff is great, made even better by the online activity journal. I would not hesitate to recommend The Red House.

Both my boys have attended Red House since they were 7 months old. I cannot recommend it enough. They have always received brilliant care and have loved going. I have always felt totally confident in the level of care they have received. The staff are kind, professional, compassionate and empathetic. My older son was just 4 when he started school, but his pre-school time at Red House meant that he found the transition easy. My younger son will start this year and I feel confident that he will also be ready. I really heartfelt gratitude to all the staff for all the care my boys have received.

I cannot recommend Red House highly enough. The staff are friendly, warm and accommodating and have created a wonderfully welcoming environment where children are well cared for and supported at every stage. The bonds that form between the children and staff are evident and mutual, creating an atmosphere where children can thrive and parents can be reassured that their individual and varying needs are met. My daughter has had such a positive experience during her time at Red House and is so happy to be there. As a parent choosing a childcare provider, you can’t hope for more than that.

Both my daughters have been going go Red House since they were 9 months old until school. They have been absolutely fabulous with them throughout, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Their staff are not only caring and nurturing but my children have learnt essential life skills in preparation for school. I feel Red House go above and beyond compared to many nurseries in the area.

Our son started at Red House in August 2021. We were very nervous at first leaving him for the first time as he had been with us 24/7 for two years. The staff did a great job of reassuring us. From his third day attending Red House he had totally settled in and found his feet, he couldn’t wait to run off and play when we got to the gate. I think that is a testimony to how friendly and welcoming all the staff are and it was a great relief for us to see how happy he was to be there. The staff give daily updates through the Learning Journal so you are able to see what activities they are up to. The staff always spend time at pick up explaining the day in detail. The staff pay special attention to everyone’s individual development and needs. We have noticed how much he has progressed and grown in confidence since being at Red House. Within the first month, his speech had come on leaps and bounds. He always comes home with a smile on his face really excited to share his fun-filled day with us.

We have two children at The Red House Day Nursery currently and our oldest child attended for six months before lockdown. It is the same familiar faces but quite different nowadays. We have regular updates via an app on our phones and I love seeing photos throughout the day. It’s so helpful to keep track of how long they have slept and see how well they eat at nursery. They do a great job with activities in a relatively small outside space. I believe both our children (aged 18 months and 3) have come on leaps and bounds since starting at Red House. Thank you to all the staff for being persistent with a very rocky start for both of them.
