The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Burnaston

My eleven-month-old and two-year-old started at the Orange Tree Day nursery at the beginning of June. At this point, the nursery was being refurbished and I have had the pleasure of seeing how incredible the transformation has been. I can see how well thought out the planning has been. I feel the development and safety of our children are regarded so highly. My little ones are very happy at the nursery, so well cared for and I feel very well informed. I feel the nursery has allowed a collaborative approach with us as parents to aid our children’s development. The regular observations and updates allow us to keep up with their development and needs. The staff are wonderful. So friendly and helpful and I couldn’t be happier. My children absolutely love the incredible range of activities they do and I really love the theme-based weeks as my little girl comes home and tells me all about the new things they did at nursery. I could not praise this nursery enough. Thank you all!

This nursery is fantastic. The staff are amazing. Facilities are second to none, and the variety of food and snacks is such peace of mind knowing my little one is getting all the nutrition they need through the day. The staff are so engaging and really put our minds at rest if we have any worries or concerns. Nothing is too much trouble, and my little ones goes into nursery happy and leave at the end of the day with a huge smile on his face. I’m happy because I know my little one is happy.

We are really happy with The Orange Tree Nursery at Burnaston and feel that our son has settled very well. Communication is great and we receive regular photos and updates on his progress. The staff are all friendly and approachable and have a great relationship with our son. He always looks like he has a great day in a fun, happy, nurturing and safe environment.

Since the children have started nursery at the start of January they have been made to feel so welcome by everyone which has helped them to settle very quickly. They love the facilities, especially the outdoor space and being able to be outside as part of their rooms.
The communication from the nursery is especially good, I enjoy receiving my daily pictures and comments. The children have really enjoyed their weekly topics and telling me everything they have learnt. They are very happy here.

The staff could not be more wonderful, always friendly, caring and open and available to parents. The daily activities are super, our little boy comes home with large amounts of artwork! The daily log delivered to the app on my phone is always a joy to read and a way to stay informed about my little one’s daily activities. One of my favourite things is the amount of time spent outdoors and the structure of the building allows for outside play and fresh air whatever the weather. Could not recommend more highly.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. It’s a tough decision finding a nursery for your baby, it has to feel right and everything about the staff here make the transition the easiest it can be. From the outside space to the activities my child can take part in, along with some little animals to look after and say hello to, this nursery really is the whole package. My son loves the Orange Tree Day Nursery and especially likes to spend his time with his key worker. the nursery involves the parents and it’s lovely to go in on occasions to see how he interacts with staff and his friends. He has come on so much in the last few months with speaking and development and I really think this has helped with all they do at nursery. I would highly recommend.

We moved our son from his previous nursery due to being unhappy with the standard of care, can’t believe how much our son has developed since moving to The Orange Tree Day Nursery on Toyota. He’s singing at home, he’s happy in his environment and he’s developing at a rapid rate due to the care and kindness from this nursery. We’re so happy and we wish he could be there more days and we’re even upping his hours to two full days because we’re so happy with his progress and love for his new nursery.
They have gone above and beyond with updates, photos, meal times, activities and more. He always comes home happy, well fed and outdoor sleeping is a firm favourite!

We have had a wonderful time at Orange Tree Nursery. My child has thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant, colourful, airy and happy atmosphere created by both the building and the staff. The nursery promotes outdoor learning and playing as much as possible which I absolutely love. It’s great knowing that your child has been outside throughout the day! The staff are always cheerful and friendly and will answer any questions.
Unfortunately, we are having to leave the nursery due to them not accommodating shift patterns. This is my only criticism of the nursery and one which has affected us negatively as a family. The inflexibility has meant moving my child twice in 1 year. This has been inconvenient but also unsettling. I feel that given its location shift patterns should be considered and catered for. And this should be prioritised over and above the financial benefits that parents with regular shifts can offer.

I absolutely love this nursery, my son used to go 10 years ago, now I take my 2 youngest and it has got even better, especially after the refurbishment. The staff are amazing and, most importantly, my little ones are always happy to go to nursery.
