The Old Station Nursery Bampton

The team are compassionate-natured and excellent at communicating how your kid is settling in. Our oldest kid loves going to childcare centre and loves his friends and key worker. Our second kid has just started at The Old Station Childcare centre Bampton and already loves it.

My son loves his time there, and we are incredibly cheerful with the care and attention he receives. As parents, we are kept up to date with his development, and generally how he is getting on. Highly cheerful kid equals highly cheerful parents. The team at The Old Station Childcare centre are all just incredible.

Activities my kid does at Childcare centre are excellent for their development. Lovely setting. The food menu seems to be healthy and balanced.

*My only negative would be the cost of food when my kid attends an afternoon session. It seems the daily price of food is halved but when attending an afternoon session they will only be there to eat afternoon tea whereas if they were attended the morning session, they would have breakfast, morning snack and lunch all for the same price. Team are highly welcoming and informative.

Our son loves attending and we can’t wait for his sister to start next year. The team go above and beyond every day to make our son cheerful. They take the time to regularly update us on his development. They offer a great range of food and activities to ensure our son tries new things and enjoys his time at childcare centre. They offer remarkable care for pre-school kids.

The team and management have been incredible. My kid has revived an extreme level of growth within the childcare centre, her development has got a lot better with help and assistance from her key worker and team within the childcare centre.

They keep me up to date via the app on what’s been happening and when she is collected explain what she has done in the day/eaten and nap duration. This is remarkable. The ladies at the childcare centre are incredible – expert and exceptionally personable – my daughter loves them all

The team are consistently welcoming, the food healthy and homemade and the activities and playtime the boys get up to far exceeds our initial expectations. It’s a joy to see them enjoying it so much. First class journey and discovering for my two boys.

The team have been highly supportive in the development of our son’s strengths and weaknesses. We would suggest the childcare centre to other parents. We have had such a positive journey with our little boy starting childcare centre at 6 months old.

Nothing wrong with the facilities. But I appreciate you can only work with what you have and I sense you do highly well. My little lady is usually quite upset to be left at the childcare centre in the mornings but the team consistently do their best to reassure her and get her quickly settled down and involved. She adores the team more than she does the other kids and often talks about them at home. The food is consistently varied as are the activities and for that, I cannot fault this childcare centre. I sense the team dealt highly well throughout the pandemic and continue to do so. They consistently keep us informed of anything happening via email. Even with the change of team at times, I sense like everything still runs smoothly from the outside. Keep up the great work! I left four stars because of the outside space, not the facilities.

The team are consistently inviting, welcoming and supportive and have created a fantastic bond with the kids. I cannot suggest it highly enough. Both our grandchildren thoroughly delight in their time at the childcare centre and have truly thrived in the setting.
