December 20, 2024 at 5:28 amConsistently kept up to date with everything that goes on day in, day out. Consistently welcomed with a smile. Different activities every day and hot meals. Son seems highly cheerful and settled here! Truly cheerful we chose this one after other options! Exceptional childcare centre with lovely team.

January 11, 2025 at 8:14 pmWe’ve been highly cheerful with the level of care and assistance they provide. The childcare centre and their team provide a secure and nurturing place for my son to grow.
The activities they complete are varied and relevant.
All of our interactions with the team are positive and welcoming.

February 11, 2025 at 9:08 amWhile our son was there, a safeguarding issue got highlighted to us three weeks late.
Unfortunately, because of this I wouldn’t suggest Polkadots as a childcare centre to my friends and family. The childcare centre layout is great and the playtime area outside is a great size, however, updates is poor compared to other nurseries.

April 9, 2025 at 2:55 amThe team are pretty supportive, welcoming and compassionate plus they do a lot of truly great activities. The app you can download is truly useful too as it tells you what food they have eaten and if they’ve had a nap and the team will also upload photos of them playing/discovering.
The childcare centre is a great size with defined room areas per age group (baby, toddler and preschool), plus a truly great outdoor discovering area. The back office team in billing/finance are also incredibly supportive and responsive. Three of my kids have attended The Old Station Childcare centre Alcester over the past 5 or so years and by and large, they have all been highly well settled and adjusted to moving to primary school.

April 12, 2025 at 9:12 pmMy kid has came on leaps and bounds since I pulled her out of another childcare centre to bring her here. After recently suffering a bereavement in our family, the childcare centre have been highly supportive and I appreciate the help. This childcare centre is remarkable.

May 10, 2025 at 10:49 amThe transition of moving from toddler room to pre-school room was quite nerve racking for her but the girls there were exceptional, slowly easing her in and helping her self‑assurance at the same time.
Each time I pick my daughter up I find out what activities she has done that day, even how much of her lunch she’s eaten! The team consistently seem to have time for you, answering any questions/concerns you may have.
Polkadots is highly spotless, has a remarkable outdoor area/forest school and plenty of indoor activities.
The team are highly attentive and welcoming. I would definitely suggest polkadots to a friend! My daughter has attended Polkadot Alcester for nearly 2 years and I have never had a problem in all this time!
My daughter takes a long time to adjust to change and the team at Polkadots have been incredible with her.

May 19, 2025 at 7:46 amThe kids do lots of activities and there is a lot of space inside. The only thing I have noticed recently is that there are some new assistants who do not seem as forthcoming with comments on what my kid has done that day or how he has been. I have also noticed an increase in the number of kids in the class which makes handover and the collection of coats/shoes a bit chaotic at midday. I am overall highly cheerful with the care of my kid at this childcare centre.

May 19, 2025 at 9:42 amThe range of activities on offer and creativity of the team mean my kid is flourishing, and there is a real sense that everyone wants to do their best to look after the kids in their care. My kid has attended this childcare centre for almost a year and I am delighted with the care provided.

May 21, 2025 at 6:26 amFor example, around Christmas time my daughter took an interest in the postal service. I was sent photos of her on the app and the practitioners had made her a satchel, found her some fancy dress items to make her into a postman for the day and she went around posting Christmas cards to all of her friends. Impromptu activities like this make this childcare centre so special. All the team in the building know my daughter by name and pay an interest in her as we come and go daily. It feels like we are leaving her with family, we sense that she is secure and truly cared for whilst she attends childcare centre and the fact that she asks to be dropped off every time we drive past confirms to us that she’s cheerful there! This childcare centre is absolutely fantastic, they truly take the time to listen to my daughter and encourage her interests.

June 4, 2025 at 2:52 amI have never had any concerns about the care he has received, what he learns and what he gets up to on the day. Meals that are served are healthy and sound delicious. He almost consistently eats it all.
The team are remarkable and turnover is so low which means there is consistency for your kid. If/when I have another I will no doubt be signing them up for a place at the childcare centre.
Admin and billing was a little rocky especially when they changed hands as new billing system but you can overlook this when you know your kid is receiving such great care. Highly recommended. My son has been attending this childcare centre since he was 2 (previously Polkadots) now four and leaving for school in September.

June 12, 2025 at 2:22 amShe absolutely loves going there and attends three full days a week. The team are remarkable and have bonded with her truly well. They do so many activities with the kids, each day they do something different. There is lots of variety from water playtime, flour playtime, crafts, yogabugs, outside playtime etc. She loves being outside in the garden area. When I drop her off in the morning, I cannot get over how all of the little toddlers are sitting so nicely around the tables and eating their breakfast so well. They learn table manners from such a young age which is excellent. The childcare centre itself has excellent facilities, it’s consistently spotless and the team are highly supportive if you have any requests or queries. I can’t speak highly enough of Polkadots and would highly suggest to anyone. My little girl has been attending Polkadot Alcester (the baby room) since January 2017 and in the time she has been there, she has developed so much.
