The Old Station Day Care Nursery

Activities from the baby room to the youngster room are superb and receiving the pieces of work which each kid has completed, seeing the pride in their faces when they say’ I did that’. Nursery Pal is updated throughout the day, we able click on and check everything is OK. If there is a problem team are approachable and attentive, you able be assured you will only have to ask once. They are cared for like they are family members as are all the kids. Staff are outstanding, our two kids attend 2 days a week its such a peace of mind to know they are here.

Cannot suggest the Old Station strongly enough. I was a bit nervous about my kids starting a new day‑care but the transition has been better than I might have hoped. All of the meals are prepared freshly each day and my kids adore the food. It is obvious that all of the team have a genuine passion for looking after kids- everyone who works there knows all of the kids’ s names and take an interest in them, whether they work in that particular room or not. Over the last year there has been little or no turnover of team, which for me is truly important and shows that the day‑care is well run and treat team well. The day‑care has an atmosphere that feels like a home from home which my kids thrive in. We have been so delighted with everything about the day‑care ever since we joined. My 2 kids joined the Old Station just over a year ago.

It is reassuring knowing that they are delighted while we are at work with team who care for them like they are their own. Our kids adore going and have made terrific friends. This also includes photos of our kids doing sessions. We get terrific communication from all team and management and are kept up to date throughout the day using My Nursery Pal. We are extremely impressed with the homemade lunches which cater to our kids’ s dietary requirements. There are lots of sessions that offer variety as well as lots of artwork being made and sent home. The team are welcoming, welcoming and offer outstanding care. My kids adore going to day‑care.

We cannot fault any area of The Old Station Nursery and would strongly suggest it to others. The girls in the youngster room work so well with the kids and we saw a huge difference in our little boy’ s development ever since moving him. The team were so welcoming and we felt we might phone or email at any time if we had any questions. The settling- in was terrific and we got all the information we needed. We have loved it ever since then! We moved our little boy to The Old Station Nursery last August due to a change in career.

Staff in the after playgroup room are fab too. She is extremely delighted here and I would strongly suggest to any parent. She thoroughly enjoys her snacks and lunches and adores the vet corner, the hospital corner and the shop corner. She has developed her independence with the help of the girls in playgroup. My little girl has learned so much at playgroup and she finds development there interesting and enjoyable. My time has been outstanding. The team at The Old Station are superb.

They are also extremely accommodating and are extremely attentive to our youngster’ s needs. The girls are all extremely attentive and genuinely want to help as best they able. We are now planning to send our Newborn baby boy too once I go back to work. Old Station Nursery has been the day‑care we have used ever since our little girl was 9 months old.

Via the’ app’ I am constantly receiving updates and photos throughout the day showing the wide range of sessions she enjoys. Although, at 20- months, my little girl cannot directly communicate her time at The Old Station, the excitement when one of the team collects her at the front door each morning is a extremely telling sign of how much enjoyment she gets from her days there. Management has maintained close contact and consistently updated me with regards to changes to health and safety practices in respect of Covid- 19. In these extremely worrying times, the team have adapted well to new procedures and restrictions and the level of care and has never faltered. I had no hesitation therefore in sending my youngest, now 20- months. My now 11- year- old and 9- year- old both attended The Old Station, and the care they received in their early years was second to none.

They do so many sessions during the day and I am so reassured he seems so content to be there. I would happily suggest this day‑care to any potential guardians thinking of sending their kids there. I receive regular photos on the My Nursery Pal app and I able check in to see how his day is going. The girls who work there are so useful with any queries I have regarding my little boy’ s care or day. My little boy attends this day‑care and is consistently delighted to go to the girls in mornings, he learns so much and they have a terrific team to kids ratio in the youngster room which he is currently in.

I wouldn’ t send her anywhere else. Their days are well structured and I adore how frequent the day‑care pal app is updated. The Old Station Nursery is well equipped and team are terrific, even other team that don’ t directly care for my little girl know her and are consistently welcoming to me.
